stock vtec engagement on a cl9 is @ 6k rpm. You'll need a cai to hear the slight change. Changing over to a rbc intake manifold or rrc intake manifold will let you hear the cross better but you sacrifice bottom end tq.

Smooths out the torque curve, no artificial dip before 6000. At around 4500 the regular cams can't make anymore power, so the high power cam is activated
Get an intake..hondas makempower from the head..vtec is in the head...therefore open the intake for more sound.. your welcome.
tune was done,
made 156.7kws atw and 236nm tq atw, fuel economy is the same, vtec engagement @ 4,4.

Bro wtf how those mods made it crossover like a b16a ? Lol
How did you get your aggressive crossover? My cl9 has intake and exhaust but crossover not noticeable. Did you get Cams + Hondata?
In this video the car was fairly stock. only RBC + CAI.
jhimc Awesome! Gunna look into a RBC & J35 Throttle Body
jhimc Wanna part out? Lol
Cant find parts in VIC :(
sucks to have crossover at 6000 rpm and redline at 7000 ..
There's a simple ECU reflash for 4600-7600RPM VTEC
Buddy I got a stock Honda accord euro 04 model but you can't hear the crossover. What mods would I have to do in order to hear the crossover ??
CAI eg Injen
I can't tell when vtec kicks in on my CL9...
why? unless the camshaft is designed to make the power then you are only gonna kill power and fuel economy by lowering vtec.
