I made 235 with a stock rbc with 70m tb. This was with a dirty air filter btw

Need to test the middle intake with a plenum spacer as well you will find the longer runner with upped plenum volume will probably be your best over all combo
I’d like to see this. That’s what I’m gonna be running on my swap. Ultra street with the spacer. Although I might do a port on mine with 4p

Great test! The AFR graph overlayed would be a nice thing to have.
Also , I suggest , ecu was fine tuned for every manifold to have same afr during runs, so resulting VE curve for every manifold would be also a nice thing to see.

This video is very helpful. Thanks for showing dyno info. Could you do another video on k series using these intake manifolds and centerfeed manifold when boosted and different types of turbo manifolds ie. Log type, ram type, and sidewinder type.

I know the real street program isnt really about take steps backwards however there are still plenty of b series guys out there that would be interested to see where manifolds stack up, esp with the old school edelbrock intake manifold
I've seen those test in alot of old magazines back when those were cool.
@@brian6029 There are more manifolds on the market now vs back then but then again there are more k series manifolds on the market too, ones id pick over skunk2
We still have much love for B Series. Planning to put one on the engine dyno in a few months to get some similar testing done :)
Maybe doing the same test, with a stock bottom end and a head package ( DC 3.2 cams etc )

Great video!! Should do a head package and cams next, with a larger tb. Most street guys have setups like this, would be dope for info. What transmission/gearing was used for test??
Yesss :) . This being on an engine dyno doesnt using a transmission with gearing, true crank horsepower is read.

Yeah, doing the baseline with an RBC/RRC would have been nice. That way we could see if the pro series manifold had any gains over those OEM manifold

Are you guys running a type s oil pump and rbc intake cam gear or not? Based tsx cam gear is only 25 degrees, if you guys running it is as total stock, can you do a second video with these upgrades also include a rbc ported 80mm, rrc as well
Do this with a j32a2 with the p2r holley intake and the j35 magnesium intake. Seeing what is better that has been an argument for a long time. I know you supposedly lose power on a na j series with the holley adapter kit, but guess what I bought it anyways I couldn't help it lol
I wish they would have added the rbc to the test.
Please show how it compared to a stock RBB manifold! My stock K24a makes 220hp and 200ftlbs at the tires. As a track car I feel these all would drop torque that the RBB has. Helps pull you out of the turns.

Would like to see the stock k24 with skunk2 drop in cams and see difference in ultra 1 cams.

@@realstreetperformance I think it would be interesting to see how cast runners , cnc runners, ported cast runners, and different size plenums can make a difference to the power band or power gain/loss.

Isn't it proven that the Pracworks manifold flows better then the skunk2 stuff?
Pracworks manifold are overprce fot the power. RRC or Skunk2USM for me.

All of Skunk2’s manifolds are shit. The quality isn’t worth the gains. Ported RRC is the way to go.
