Nice touch putting the Harris Tweed logo on the seats where the recaro logo would normally be. Phenomenal workmanship 👌

Had mine in a T3 Syncro and they made long journeys so much nicer

I did my mk2 door cards a couple vlogs back but It was mainly time-lapse. The retrim videos don't seem to do very well

I also have seats in my mk1 that's almost 50 years old.(found it at a farm, while visiting a friend) At the moment I'm rolling with it damage. Until I can buy an Jetta MK2 for a daily. My mk1 is my daily now. Had to make decisions sell my mk1 or sell the daily. So daily the project car is fun 😂😂😂😂

@Project7YT for me the retrims are just as important as the rest of the build plus its also the area of the car you spend the most time looking at.

I’m just dreaming out loud. I just sent my Merc 190e off to get sorted expecting a bill of a couple of grand for that. It’s a stunning car but the Bosch fuel injection is all messed up. Apparently you need a magic wand to fix it. The defender I bought about 4 months ago because it was a deal I couldn’t pass up. ‘87 LR90 with a four inch lift, 33 inch tyres on polished modular wheels and a spare rebuilt engine on a pallet for 3k. It’s a longer term project but I have a vision for it. Maybe someday.
