Omg i thought this doll didn’t have the pull string feature! I’m so glad that she does because that bring back so many memories from an old Jessie that I had like 10 years ago!!!!

She is really cool ! I love the thing with the hat ! That is my biggest problem with most Jessie dolls is the hat falling of constantly !!!

The head looks as if it's gonna break and fall off anytime. Overall, better quality than most of the Jessie doll. But the best from Disney Store is still the latest packaging Emperor Zurg, i think.

You should definitely do a head swap for your Disney Store Buzz with the new Walmart Thinkway Toys Talking Buzz head (which an improved version of the regular TSC Buzz head)
I really love the TSC Buzz head swapping it out is not for me as I think it already looks most movie accurate!

It looks really well done for Disney. I see what you mean with the shoulders, you're lucky you could pick the best one you can find. I really like the rag doll effect which her and Woody should have.

Yeah I think Disney store box Jessie looks like it fits more with stinky Pete’s box
yeah the peg in the hat is inaccurate but neither are the straps in toy story collection, at least the peg isn't visible once it's in her head but toy story collection you can still see the straps if you look closely and the face sculpt looks more like andy's jessie and has brown eyebrows and the toy story collection has red eyebrows (inaccurate) but has the teeth closed which is the only plus but doesn't look like jessie from the movie as much
You are correct on all these points here. Once again like Buzz if we were to fuse things together we could have 1 epic Jessie doll.
Whats worse the peg to keep it on her head without falling off or the elastic bands the signature 1 has?
For me, the most accurate Jessie is 'Jessie talking figure' from Mattel, the body is amazing, you can raise her arms and not deform the rest of the doll, and her face totally looks like the animated jessie. I used to have the signature collection but I think it was an horrible version so I stayed with the other, I recommend her. Obviously for a collector it doesn't matter but I love when figures are like the film.

I think the body is good for modding. The face and hair are super ugly...I think if we did a head swap with this body and signature face it could be way better.

Man I’ve always wanted a Jessie doll cuz she’s my favorite from the movie, maybe one day I’ll buy my own from a mall
The reason why the boot says Andy is because the body of the doll was based off the one from 2014 (trust me,I checked) with a different head sculpt

Yeah I wish. The closest we have is 2018 Disney store woody he does say original phrases and even says somebody’s poisoned the water hole but he looks creepy. I am modding my Woody to have that voice box into the collection Woody!

I could be wrong because I'm just looking at a photo while you were actually there, but I'm pretty sure the shoulder issue you pointed out was due to the fact her stance in the box had her arm bent in a weird way that looked like the shoulder was mis sewed.

I haven't picked up any of the Disney Store Toy Story 4 toys, but I think I might have to make an exception for Jessie. Something about her makes her seem so charming. Perhaps even moreso than the Signature version. Great review!
For your refeeence I did make a comparisons with this and signature collection Jessie if you want to check it out. It’s honestly very amazing. Jessie is the only Disney toystory 4 toy I like
I know this was years ago but my best friend got this for me recently for my birthday. I’m gonna be perfectly honest it really is better than the Toy Story Collection version. It is also more in scale with the Thinkway versions as well. I would have actually preferred the Toy Story Collection Jessie use the body and head of this Disney Store version but used the Signature Collection Hat. Still use the pin to click it into place and there you go - The Perfect Jessie Doll!

I recently got back into my Pixar phase. I’m currently trying to get the entirety of Andy’s Toys(the main cast of Toy Story 3 at least) among a few others. I use the Thinkway Signature collection toys as much as I can. Sometimes I have to buy other characters manufactured from other companies(Hamm and Slinky for example) to get the main cast. I actually decided that this version of Jessie is the absolute best version of a real life Jessie. She’s completely accurate and in scale to the movie. I say this because the Toy Story Signature Collection Jessie although looks nice and is a very nice looking toy to own, she’s just too darn small to fit into scale with the rest. Luckily the Disney Store edition as seen here is much more in scale with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. In the Toy Story series, Jessie is the same size as Woody and much larger than Buzz. The Toy Story collection Jessie, despite its interactive features and various fine attention to detail, is just too small to fit into the collection. She’s nice to have if you want to own all of the Thinkway Collection toys. But if you’re gonna do what I do and go after visual accuracy, it’s a good idea to get characters from multiple companies. I’m not planning on modding Jessie. I like Signature Collection Jessie just the way she is even though yes I know she is not movie accurate. I just wanted a woody accurate I’m ok with having a less accurate Jessie but that’s just me.

You can do that if you want to. In the movie though we never hear Jessie’s pull string! We don’t really know what it’s suppose to sound like.

I bought this in Shanghai disneyland, when I comes to my Home in Indonesia so my daughter do the unboxing & she played with jessy well, at first I thought my daughter broke or removed jessy neck cause the neck is nit instal at the body, I was feel so loosen and can be rotated, i try to fix by check jessy clothes how to open to fix the neck to the body, but after see this video i realize that loosen & rotates neck (not instal to jessy body) is the original design ftim the manufacturing 😀..

Yes you need a tight zip tie I actually recommend a smaller one and you can make it as tight or loose as you want.

I went to the mall at Glendale Galleria California. I recommend calling a Disney store and ask them to look up which store has her in stock so you have a better chance of finding one. That’s what I did before going to the mall.
