Very important detail, when you put the keys in the cube to open the 3 areas, MOVE between each key set, otherwise you will get stacked portals and you will have wasted your key set cause you can’t enter the portals that are “below” another portal
not sure if i remember correctly but if it happen , if you move the cursor like a pixel around you can enter each portal but its annoyin, then you can use town portal

If you're watching this video and getting ready to do Ubers, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD read this: Make sure you move your character a couple steps after you cube each set of keys to make the portal. I created all three portals without moving, and the portals stacked and I was only able to access one portal. I went into Shifting Sands, almost killed Duriel but died, and then when I respawned, the only portal I could click on was Matron's Den. Had to save and exit.

Me and my brother killed the ubers twice tonight, first time since around 2005 or so. So much nostalgia, SO much fun. I just smiled them into oblivion like the old days. Ahhhhh it feels great to be back!
Confession time: I've played this game for 21 years (SP and NL, no d2jsp) and never killed ubers or PanDia. I get oneshot or do less damage than they regen so I never bother :D
Same, they made it so you can only play very specific characters with very specific skills to be able to even try. It’s a trash set up, it should just be difficult for all characters, not impossible lol
You are not suposed to run Ubers whit every character for sure it's possible but to make your life easier do Barbarian or Paladin grind good gear for those and boom you have char wich can farm every torch for every other characters too!👍🏻

I remember one season my brother was playing a barbarian and dipped his toe into real money trading by purchasing an eBotD Zerker Axe for $20 which made him immensely more powerful, and thanks to discovering a certain website with its own forum gold currency was able to sell off his finds and further gear his barbarian until he was ready to hunt keys and run Uber Tristram. I still remember his first torch. Perfect Paladin torch. He actually baked a cake to celebrate. I don't recall what he did with it, but he probably has an account covered with dust and cobwebs on that forum with a decent amount of forum gold on it, unless they clear inactive accounts.

And all class torches are best if you're not into trading or on single player and everyone at least wants to collect all 7. I remember back 15+ years ago a Diablo uber spawned randomly in my game (I guess from other selling sojs?) and I happened to be playing solo with my skelemancer and I thought "shoot, I can solo anything with skellies, I got this!". It was utterly hilarious how quickly they died to him. All of them died literally within 5 seconds. So I came back with a full horde of skeletons and revives. Same result, all dead within seconds.

I just did my first Uber, and I was expecting a really hard fight, to be honest. I have been playing single player for like 5 months and recently made a smither with grief, hoz, gface, and so on-stuff I have found along the way, basically. My smither completely wiped the floor with the ubers, lol.
What system are you on? I’ll run Ubers with you if you provide the keys and some some full rejuvs. I’ve got a Smiter that can run ‘em and a L Sorc that can play decent support.
I watched Llama run WITH the flames like in this movie I saw Prometheus. LOL I was like you don’t have to run AGAINST them, that’s a race against literal death, you just have to step out of the way!

It's kind of cool that the original devs stayed true to the Fantasy D&D style "rules" where more intelligent monsters will tend to attack the weaker target in a group, which usually happens to be a spell caster. Idk, it's something small, but I like it.

Im in the same offline boat lol. Im just trying to figure out if its even possible with a summon necro. Im lvl 90 with +9 summon skills and i mop bosses pretty easy. I just dont want to waste these keys smh lol.
Wanted to see if there was any information getting anni in resurrected. Still a lot of misinformation from old d2 floating around, and curious if d2 resurrected changed anything.
There was a video Llama did a while ago, around beta time where the question of Dclone was brought up. Dclone right now requires 75-125 SoJ's to spawn like it was in old d2, BUT the lead dev guy that comments on a lot of shit (cant remember his name right now) said they are willing to adjust this if needed. Which more than likely will be adjusted, as the reason it was so high was because of duping. In single player you only have to sell 1 SoJ to spawn Dclone. That is the latest news regarding Dclone.
I've played at various points in my life and always traded for torches. Never actually went and grabbed any myself. I decided to do Ubers for the first time ever. Solo'd them on my smiter. I watched the video and followed what you said. Took no time at all and no deaths. Great video.
If you don't have a group that you can trust to do this with you, how kitted would you need to be? I'm running an FoH paladin in ladder when it drops. Would I be better just trying to trade for a torch if i'm mainly playing with randoms?
I feel like once you enter the uber dungeons, you shouldn’t be able to reenter town until you kill the uber boss in the dungeon. To make it ultimately more challenging
The game is still made so a large % of players can get these items. It was intentionally made more predictable than Annihilus-Diablo, and is already really hard to finish, and for most solo-players almost impossible. You already need a good sorceres just for the key-runs (Nihlatak packs a punch if you aren't geared well, and countess can be hard because most people play Ice or Ice/fire sorc as light needs the most expensive equipment) and then a well-equiped smiter to kill the Uber-bosses. So you already have to level and gear 2 end-game characters and play for quite some time (just the keys are 300+ runs, you're probably not getting the right torch first time). That's a lot of time and gear invested to get a chance for an item that might not even be valuable for you.
I find funny n weird that mrlamma dont want some changes for the remaster cause he says the game will get easier but uses exploits all the time so the game gets easier for him. for example that ubers players 1 but killing with 2-3 palyers exploit or the skill swap cast. I dont take his merits away cause he knows everything about the game n does it all but he could really do all those without the need of bugs or exploits.
So I have a question! It would have been the first Uber Tristram of my life. I managed the first 3 minibosses (Izual, Lilith, Duriel) without any problems. After that came the other 3. However, as soon as the loading screen ends my character is dead. Immediately. Mephistos didn’t need to be lured, he’s right next to the spawn point and I’m dead without any reaction. I couldn’t teleport or use potions or anything. After the end of the loading scrren the character is dead. What is this??? The 3*3 key is worthless.
how tough are the ubers compared to DC? i was able to more or less solo DC on players 2, we planning to go with with the 4 of us but we dont really have stacked characters yet and it would be shame to waste the keys if we cannot clear it
@@badabbs2031 Offline characters have fewer benefits over online ones now that D2R has rune words no longer ladder only. However they do have player settings. For example you can set it to players 5 or players 7 on Lower Kurast for chest runs to up your chances for high runes or grand skill charms. The only other benefit is merely playable when servers are down. I keep online characters to cause I enjoy co-op, especially for Ubers. They do share stash space, it would be more ideal if they would have increased the shared stash space for offline characters as that doesn't lag the servers there.
@@badabbs2031 Oh and there is one other huge bonus to offline characters. Same Map. By that I mean that if you are doing Meph or Baal runs and get a good map that is quick to the boss or with two campfires in Kurast then you can run it over and over and keep your map! It only changes when you change difficulty settings.
@@badabbs2031 Yeah and you don't need any hacks or anything it just keeps the map for you. Its like if you leave mid-quest and come back its keeping the map basically to save your progress, even though monsters return. It makes farming much easier. The only downside to offline is no co-op which is a big one really cause its fun to team up. Also no ladder of course if you enjoy the competitive aspect.
the standard of heroes is relevant on playstation. because there´s a trophy you get when you get a standard of heroes. this trophy is needed, when you want to achieve the platinum trophy.
So I've always been confused when people say "worth a lot".... Like what is the currency for this? Are people paying real money? Or is it like a couple ZoD runes? What exactly is the currency people are paying for such things? I've never understood... Coming from a person who thought hell cow levels was end game back in like 2001 when I was young and only heard about "Ubers" when d2r came out
@@Licherous A blizzard sorc is good for running the Countess and Summoner, not as good for Nihlathak. In Countess' tower, there are few cold immunes except for the Countess' minions and herself. Your merc, if tanky enough (in other words, has life leech and a decently fast damaging weapon) can finish them off. In the Summoner's level, the ghoul lords are cold immune, but again, merc can take them out easily. Nihlathak is more tricky, as the monsters you encounter on the way are more unpredictable, and his ice boars that he uses corpse explosion on are cold immune. Since there are so many of them, you may need to clear the hallway of the wing he's in, lure the ice boars out a couple at a time, and have your merc kill them far enough away where Nihlathak can't explode them. Nihlathak can have cold immunity as well (though it's not guaranteed) so either you or your merc will finish him. I actually prefer doing Nihlathak runs on my summoner necromancer, as it's a bit safer. When you get used to the map generation patterns, you can usually walk from halls of pain to Nihlathak pretty quickly.
If you have lots of time to play you can do a holy grail quest where you try to acquire every item in the game. That would require the plugy mod for a bigger stash to hold them all (not yet available for Diablo 2 Resurrected). Or if you're really good at the game you can get into the speedrunning scene. Sorry to answer for Llama, but I've watched him enough to guess what he might suggest.

Just killed my first ubers on non-modded d2 tonight and did that 'spawning them on p1' thing. One of our group members insisted that it didn't work and never worked like that because they scale up hp as soon as anyone joins. Is there some "official" source on that topic?
I had an issue where a friend wasn't able to rejoin my game when trying to spawn them. Any idea why? Maybe I didn't open portals before he left the game or something?

Soloing Uber Tristram is the only way to go. Back on OG D2 I had a 19 19 Pally torch. It was the gem of all my characters.
Soloing with mid tier items is possible? I am planning to farm uber tristram

Guides pretty simple, level a paladin and spec smite

I’ve done this in the late 60s with fair gear. Fails sometimes but not too hard.
Is it necessary to have 3 portals up to open last one ? Or can I disconnect after gathering 3 items and open ubertristram anytime ?

Can you farm organs in LoD? As in, can you have more of the same on your inventory/stash?
How do you value things in D2, since gold is worthless? What should one trade for a 20 20 paladin torch? Whats the currency in practice?

Im in the same offline boat lol. Im just trying to figure out if its even possible with a summon necro. Im lvl 90 with +9 summon skills and i mop bosses pretty easy. I just dont want to waste these keys smh lol.

Smiters can do ubers with REALLY cheap gear. After that its just getting torches and selling them for massive profit.
Wanted to see if there was any information getting anni in resurrected. Still a lot of misinformation from old d2 floating around, and curious if d2 resurrected changed anything.

There was a video Llama did a while ago, around beta time where the question of Dclone was brought up. Dclone right now requires 75-125 SoJ's to spawn like it was in old d2, BUT the lead dev guy that comments on a lot of shit (cant remember his name right now) said they are willing to adjust this if needed. Which more than likely will be adjusted, as the reason it was so high was because of duping. In single player you only have to sell 1 SoJ to spawn Dclone. That is the latest news regarding Dclone.

I've played at various points in my life and always traded for torches. Never actually went and grabbed any myself. I decided to do Ubers for the first time ever. Solo'd them on my smiter. I watched the video and followed what you said. Took no time at all and no deaths. Great video.

If you don't have a group that you can trust to do this with you, how kitted would you need to be? I'm running an FoH paladin in ladder when it drops. Would I be better just trying to trade for a torch if i'm mainly playing with randoms?
I feel like once you enter the uber dungeons, you shouldn’t be able to reenter town until you kill the uber boss in the dungeon. To make it ultimately more challenging
The game is still made so a large % of players can get these items. It was intentionally made more predictable than Annihilus-Diablo, and is already really hard to finish, and for most solo-players almost impossible. You already need a good sorceres just for the key-runs (Nihlatak packs a punch if you aren't geared well, and countess can be hard because most people play Ice or Ice/fire sorc as light needs the most expensive equipment) and then a well-equiped smiter to kill the Uber-bosses. So you already have to level and gear 2 end-game characters and play for quite some time (just the keys are 300+ runs, you're probably not getting the right torch first time). That's a lot of time and gear invested to get a chance for an item that might not even be valuable for you.

I find funny n weird that mrlamma dont want some changes for the remaster cause he says the game will get easier but uses exploits all the time so the game gets easier for him. for example that ubers players 1 but killing with 2-3 palyers exploit or the skill swap cast.
I dont take his merits away cause he knows everything about the game n does it all but he could really do all those without the need of bugs or exploits.

So I have a question!
It would have been the first Uber Tristram of my life. I managed the first 3 minibosses (Izual, Lilith, Duriel) without any problems. After that came the other 3. However, as soon as the loading screen ends my character is dead. Immediately. Mephistos didn’t need to be lured, he’s right next to the spawn point and I’m dead without any reaction. I couldn’t teleport or use potions or anything. After the end of the loading scrren the character is dead.
What is this??? The 3*3 key is worthless.
What if you die at any point? So you lose the portals or anything like that?
You don't lose the portals. It's just like dying anywhere else.

how tough are the ubers compared to DC? i was able to more or less solo DC on players 2, we planning to go with with the 4 of us but we dont really have stacked characters yet and it would be shame to waste the keys if we cannot clear it

Just curious, what is the benefit to having offline characters? Do they share stash space?
@@badabbs2031 Offline characters have fewer benefits over online ones now that D2R has rune words no longer ladder only. However they do have player settings. For example you can set it to players 5 or players 7 on Lower Kurast for chest runs to up your chances for high runes or grand skill charms. The only other benefit is merely playable when servers are down. I keep online characters to cause I enjoy co-op, especially for Ubers. They do share stash space, it would be more ideal if they would have increased the shared stash space for offline characters as that doesn't lag the servers there.
@@badabbs2031 Oh and there is one other huge bonus to offline characters. Same Map. By that I mean that if you are doing Meph or Baal runs and get a good map that is quick to the boss or with two campfires in Kurast then you can run it over and over and keep your map! It only changes when you change difficulty settings.

@@badabbs2031 Yeah and you don't need any hacks or anything it just keeps the map for you. Its like if you leave mid-quest and come back its keeping the map basically to save your progress, even though monsters return. It makes farming much easier. The only downside to offline is no co-op which is a big one really cause its fun to team up. Also no ladder of course if you enjoy the competitive aspect.
the standard of heroes is relevant on playstation. because there´s a trophy you get when you get a standard of heroes. this trophy is needed, when you want to achieve the platinum trophy.

Sorc or hammerdin. Anything that teleports and kills single target fast. The monsters that drop keys aren't particularly tough

@@Licherous A blizzard sorc is good for running the Countess and Summoner, not as good for Nihlathak. In Countess' tower, there are few cold immunes except for the Countess' minions and herself. Your merc, if tanky enough (in other words, has life leech and a decently fast damaging weapon) can finish them off. In the Summoner's level, the ghoul lords are cold immune, but again, merc can take them out easily. Nihlathak is more tricky, as the monsters you encounter on the way are more unpredictable, and his ice boars that he uses corpse explosion on are cold immune. Since there are so many of them, you may need to clear the hallway of the wing he's in, lure the ice boars out a couple at a time, and have your merc kill them far enough away where Nihlathak can't explode them. Nihlathak can have cold immunity as well (though it's not guaranteed) so either you or your merc will finish him. I actually prefer doing Nihlathak runs on my summoner necromancer, as it's a bit safer. When you get used to the map generation patterns, you can usually walk from halls of pain to Nihlathak pretty quickly.

If you have lots of time to play you can do a holy grail quest where you try to acquire every item in the game. That would require the plugy mod for a bigger stash to hold them all (not yet available for Diablo 2 Resurrected). Or if you're really good at the game you can get into the speedrunning scene. Sorry to answer for Llama, but I've watched him enough to guess what he might suggest.
And what about the Uber Diablo that spaws after we sell SOJ? Is enabled?

Just killed my first ubers on non-modded d2 tonight and did that 'spawning them on p1' thing. One of our group members insisted that it didn't work and never worked like that because they scale up hp as soon as anyone joins. Is there some "official" source on that topic?
I had an issue where a friend wasn't able to rejoin my game when trying to spawn them. Any idea why? Maybe I didn't open portals before he left the game or something?
