Mossel Bay

Mossel Bay is a small harbour town situated on the Garden Route in the Western Cape. A favourite coastal and holiday destination, it has over the years developed into a town of unhurried hospitality, complementing the natural beauty and rich cultural history of the District of Eden. It was here that the first Europeans set foot on southern African shores.

I was born here in 1953, grew up here and spend the best years of my life here. Unfortunately, I had to grow up when we moved to Paarl so my dad could make more money. The Mossel Bay of those days was much better than the one today. Too many people today and too many changes. Dankie ou Mosselbaai!
I now live in tropical Cairns, Australia.

Excellent video, well done! I can now share it with my friends all over SA and a few in USA. I'm so glad we moved here almost 2 years ago, this town is so clean and the people are generally lovely.
