Can you help me with the lever you had so much trouble with, mine will not budge it is closed down so I cannot drop the bike support to the downwards position.
The bike support arms have teeth to hood the arms, most of the time it stuck and need to be pried a part. Don't to lose up first before you pry it apart, wd40 might help a bit.
I hope after some practice that you figured out the correct way to mount it to your particular car. Because the way that you have it mounted is close. But not quite correct. It appears to me that it would be very unstable the way that you have done it in this video.
Informative except that you didn't mention that the fit guide in the manual advises which setting the dial on the rack should be on for your vehicle. And it's a "Gateway", not Getaway.
Life saver. Thankful for this video.
Do you think that this model is a good fit for Subaru Crosstrek?
Thanks for the explanation!

You should’ve showed how to put the bike on too

I’ll just take the front tire off my bike and jam it in the trunk with the seats down this is way to cumbersome for me and could mar the paint job
Got a very similar Thule bike rack
Same setup except I'm not sure the correct way to mount the bike
Do you have men or women’s bike? For women’s u might need an adapter.
Covering your plate though
Thank you for your video
You don’t want a free toll? 😄
@@rdhalim Lol yes but not getting pulled over
this will fit for the midsize suv
Most likely yes, but make sure the top hooks attach to the hatchback frame not the plastic/fiberglass spoiler just for security purposes.
Naw bikes going in cargo space this looks like a pain in the backseat
