I made some shakedown passes at an awesome no time event. Passes were all on motor and I fought various issues but overall success. Nitrous coming soon!!!

@@brokejoebuilds5165 i made it to the final 8 cars and got beat , i do 10.00 index at yellowbullet nationals , 6.50 stuff at LV and my hometrack in new england dragway 10.50 index . we have won the championship last 2 years at newengland dragway , im not sure how far away you are but at New england dragway we run the outlaw 10.5 series thats on there website . You have to run no wider than a 10.5 tire 8.50 ,9.50 10.50 11.50 and 12.50 index on a pro .400 tree
@@RaceRedFairmont i just got booted at lebanon doing some nitrous testing so I'm going to be working on a cage and a license. New England is close to a 4hr ride but It would be fun to do a few times a year. Are you going to the next no time event in lebanon?

Man if all those passes were barefooted??? Cant wait to see that thing on the "sauce"!!! She outta wheelstand to half track unless you know some suspension guru's. Great build though. Just awesome.
I believe that was a 4.5 back spacing, with a 28x9 tire. It rubed some on the chevette body. Im using a 26x8.5 on the same 8in rim and like it far better. Ive been 1.2x to the 60ft with more in it.
It's cool to see a Chevette living a better life than just being a plain old cheapo commuter car. That color is one of the most horrible colors that GM used, but it looks "right" on that car.
I did it purposely, I'm planning on racing mostly no time events this year and even though these were motor runs I can't give away to much data to my competition

The rear shocks were for a tri five chevy with this set up. Qa1

Short story, when I originally got the car it was nicknamed the booger. But through the years as it got faster in naturally became the Snot Rocket.
