    This shit is real. I suffer from it. Its embarrassing because I've said some things that are shocking when the alters take over.

    1:37 No, it's not the spectrum of dissociation. You can dissociate quite lightly in comparison to the dissociation you experience when you have different alters. For example, you can have depersonalisation/derealisation disorder (like me) which is a form of dissociation that has nothing to do with alters as in DID.

    I hate how short it was I wanted her to finish her first experience

    She apparently also experiences dissociated reality having written and publicly shared her “I wish I was your mother, Putin”

      Age maybe? Both of my parents grew gaps in their teeth as they got older. Repeatedly pushing/pressing your tongue against your teeth can also create gaps in them. Lastly, poor dental hygiene.

    1:04 dissociative identity disorder and multiple personality disorder is the same thing

    • @Megan-oz3sg
      @Megan-oz3sg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      It used to be called multiple personality disorder, but they changed it to dissociative identity disorder because it is not multiple personalities. Multiple personality disorder does not exist

    • @Megan-oz3sg
      @Megan-oz3sg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @B Real personalities refer to ways a person behaves in different settings. One can have a personality that they put on for school that will be different from work or family. Dissociative identity disorder is when a person dissociates and quite literally turns into a different person mentally, it’s not a personality, it is an alternate member of the “system,” which is what some people with did refer to themselves as. Anthony Padilla has a really great TH-cam video called “I spent a day with people with dissociative identity disorder” and it clear it up so much

    • @Megan-oz3sg
      @Megan-oz3sg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @B Real th-cam.com/video/ek7JK6pattE/w-d-xo.html there’s the link! And yes I understand it’s a very difficult disorder to understand because nobody portrays it correctly in the media. Split is the main movie about it and it’s a horrible respresentation 😵
