A pilot is grounded if he/she has a plane crash. It is not necessarily a punishment. Also our pilots in IAF get grounded due to slightest of medical problems and then a medical board decides if the pilot is fit enough to fly again. It is a very demanding profession especially fighter pilots.

I like that you raised what's going on in China but I am disappointed that you just quoted a bunch of western newspapers. There is a lot of truth in that, but we must understand they do not represent a neutral or global view/perception. We are already seeing their state sanctioned propaganda in Ukrainian Russian conflict. When will we see Indian perspective guys? What's in it that's crucial for Indians to know? Please do some "independent" research.
