Quantity is a quality. Isn't it obvious that just like Russia, they will expand outward, hopping from unfriendly country to unfriendly country and use the J20 to defend and keep their conquered countries? Just like they took South China Sea, Tibet, Xinjiang, Hainan, Mongolia, etc.? Since they call themselves the Middle Kingdom, and Beijing is not really in the middle of the map because it's close to the sea, they will not feel comfortable until Beijing is squarely in the middle of the map. It's all driven by ego centric face.

It's hilarious seeing people not from US thinking J-20 is something that can be taken lightly. It is easy to laugh at your enemy when you have the best military in the world, but if you are not from the US then you underestimate the second best. At least we people in Vietnam, Phillipines and Taiwan cannot afford that mistake.
I think it's more like they think WE can take it lightly... you can't take the opinions of internet commentors seriously, especially when they are mired in speculation. If we've learned anything in the past two weeks of American history, it's that stealth aircraft are hard to track... That being said, it doesn't have a gun... which is a rather crucial piece of stealth-on-stealth combat. At least it seems that way, there may be some "magic" to get target locks.
In WW2, the Germans had better technology, but was defeated by Allies manpower and production. China is in a position to outproduce, with a large population of single military age males..
I am not from the US I feel for all your countries If there is anything you can learn from this Ukrainian conflict it's easier to fight for your own country ,people and family on your own soil .But be sure we will be on your side and there for you. Freedom to all Slave Ukraine 🇺🇦
@@slmyatt China have production but it doesn't have all the resource. That food and material is the issue for China. Since most food and material are shipped by sea, control of the ocean matters. China don't control the ocean. That is the US and it Allies.
You don't have to be from the U.S. if you have any idea how stealth works. Those front canards on the J-20 would compromise any stealth characteristic that it "might" have. Also everyone knows, including client's that buy Chinese weaponry, it's cheaply made, and mass produced without quality control in place. Just ask Myanmar about J-7's that they procured from China.
The J-20 is a very clear threat. This is why I propose that we raise the defense budget to 1.5 trillion dollars and procure 5000 F-35s. -sincerely, totally not a Lockheed stockholder
That won't solve your problems... That will force china to significantly increase its defence budget too, increasing the numbers of the J-20 and the FC-31 significantly
Because you don't have enough pilots to opreate 5000 F-35s. USAF is 10% short to its recruit plan this year because of drug usage and other matters. And USAF pilots are having problems getting enough flying hours, because USAF wants to cut the training costs.
Can’t really speculate on the capabilities of the jet, but it’s a very sleek and cool looking jet. I’m a fan of it tbh. Seems like an actual stealth jet unlike the Su57

Still 80 airframes in 9 months rather considerable that would mean by years end Chengdu will have reached 105 airframes in 1 year which means by 2024 J-20 production will have over taken F-35 production. With J-35 on the horizon it means china will have two factories churning out stealth fighters. Which means by 2030 we could see Chinese stealth fighter numbers in number of well over 1500. This along with china launching two new carriers slated to be completed by 2030 means china will be a direct competitor to the US Pasific fleet.

The J20 is designed with China's military doctrine in mind. That of A2D2. Area denial. It's big, carries lots of fuel, and misiles. So, very long range. So, engage enemy targets past the first island chain.
J-20 can only carry 4 PL-15s and 2 PL-10s. F-22 on the other hand can carry 6 AIM-120D3 or AIM-260 JATM and 2 AIM-9X. While with F-35A/F-35C Block IV it can carry the same 6 AIM-120D3 or AIM-260 JATM internally. So in terms of BVRAAMs J-20 is outgunned.
@@johnsilver9338 They have external rails when needed. But if you look at the overall Chinese doctrine. The J 20 is geared towards area denial. They outrange our current carrier and land based fighters.
@@sancocho1718 Outrange in terms of what? Against PL-15 their is AIM-120D3 and AIM-260 JATM. AIM-120D3 alone can already reach 200km. In terms of combat range F-22 can reach the same if not more depending on speed, fuel, and altitude. Traveling at 40,000 ft altitude with transonic speeds of Mach 0.8 - 0.9 F-22 can reach around 1,400 nmi and that is only carrying 18,400 lbs worth of fuel. But it can carry more as it has a higher fuel capacity so it can reach even further. F-35C has a combat radius of around 770 nmi. And that is carrying 2 x AIM-120, 2 x 2000 lb JDAM. While F-35B has around 470 nmi with 2 x AIM-120, 2 x 1000 lb JDAM. On the other hand F-35A has around 730 nmi with 2 x AIM-120, 2 x 500 lb GBUs. In A2A config with 4 x AIM-120, F-35A can reach around 750 nmi. On the other hand, 4th gen platforms would have to carry external fuel to reach the same combat radius. So F-35 especially the C variant don’t lack range. You can read more about this at f-16()net. Replace () with a dot. To further extend their range USN also has a new stealth tanker drone with Boeing’s MQ-25 Stingray. Then their are also P&W engine core upgrades for F-35A/F-35C Block IV.
The J-20 has one huge advantage in a potential Taiwan conflict: range. J-20 combat range is estimated at roughly 2000 km, easily enough to fly missions over Taiwan. F35 combat range is only a little over 1200 km. F22 is 850 km. The nearest US base is on Okinawa (Japanese territory), 700km away, so *if* they're allowed to use it, planes there would just barely be in range. But Okinawa would likely not be available, either because Japan doesn't enter, or because it would be a prime target for ballistic missile attacks. After Okinawa, the next nearest US base is Guam, 2700 km away. Far out of range for all US fighters. But what about mid-air refueling, you say? J-20 is designed primarily as an interceptor. It would have no trouble at all shooting down slow, non-stealthy tankers doing mid-air refueling. The US does have a few carrier-launched F35Bs and Cs. But very few, and with worse performance than the A model. It would be limited mostly to carrier-launched F18s, which are much older than the J-20.
Yes, the US tanker fleet would be vulnerable to possible air interdiction, however those operate well behind the front lines while themselves being escorted by 4.5-5th gen fighters overlapped with various AEW&C and EW assets
I can't help but be reminded of the MIG31. The high altitude hyper velocity interceptor that shook the west to its core during the cold war. The west had nothing to counter it with, and the Soviet Union was producing tons of them. The United States spent billions to increase production of existing fighters, and development of new fighters to counter it. Turns out it was a massive piece of shit and the Soviets only had a handful of them. In more recent times, look to the T14 armata, which I am still not entirely convinced even exists. Communists love to Sabre rattle and show off their horrendously mothballed, corrupt, no combat experience, conscripted, malnourished third world militaries. Here is a fun fact for you. China cannot force project. Even if they had the most powerful weapons in the world, they have absolutely no say in where, when, and how the battles will be fought, which means every engagement will be done under America's terms. Period.
@@aitorbleda8267You're not getting the point. The range of the J-20s, couple with possible mid air refulling, and those air tankers and awacs are vulnerable targets.

Can any American answer me these questions? 1. If your military is so powerful, why didn't you win the wars in Vietnam, Syria and Afghanistan? 2. If you are so powerful, why do you have to get a lot of helpers every time you start a war, instead of just relying on your own strength to fight the war? 3. Over the past decades, why do you only dare to attack small countries that are technologically underdeveloped, militarily underpowered, and not very populous?
They attack with huge hordes behind their backs, all their humble vassals and usual partners in crimes like the Perfidious Albion. Plus they attack countries with no allies. Now things are about to change after what they did with Ukr. The next country they attack should receive the same support and the attacker should receive the same sanctions etc. Hopefully China will be up to the task.

I watch a fair few channels, and check multiple sources across many militaries, and news sites. You are one of the of the best. I'd get a plushy if I hadn't just changed continents - will do once I settle - well played Binkov.
Attacking China on its territory with its very dense multilayer system of air defense missiles seems very risky to me and makes me think of the losses of US planes in the Vietnam War which was a massacre with 2500 to 3000 helicopters and planes lost. And planes invisible to radar do not exist. Just planes that are barely observable on radar and the new AESA sensors are very efficient for directing them at a safe distance
I still think volumes of less expensive aircraft mixed with specialty aircraft is the way to go. I am absolutely not discounting the lives of pilots, rather I think absolute fleets of extreme even 6th generation aircraft are absolutely not neccessary. Suggesting that force multipliers reach a golden zone whereby they are too expensive to maintain. 20 F18s are a MAJOR threat no matter who you are. Add 2 stealth aircraft you can't predict.

Versus India is another matter. The Indian Air Force has an inventory of older aircraft and zero of those are stealthy. No stealth aircraft are on order. Not even semi stealthy aircraft.
India has the Rafale which is semi stealthy to say the least. And we don't know much about J20s but I'm pretty sure a Rafale would shot it down easy...
Any fight between them will take in Tibet mountain ranges. Where air is thin due to which planes are unable to carry much fuel or payload. Which makes j20 already worse payload capacity even worse. Also planes can fly in between mountains to hide from radar. Even china knows that that's why they deploy older gen aircraft near the Indian border too
Not sure about the sources, whether all or any of the data is true but not gonna lie, the THUMBNAIL for this video is super cool; better than anything published by the PLAAF
Exactly. The j-20 is not a 5th gen aircraft or even a 4th gen. But at sufficient numbers, it can be a serious threat in the Indo-Pacific theater, which is China's backyard. But why would China start a war with the USA or with anyone in the Indo-Pacific theater? It would be an economic catastrophe for China to start a war with it's biggest trade partners, USA, EU, Japan, S. Korea, Australia. I don't take Chinese to be stupid and belligerent. That's more of a Russian thing. China just wants to protect itself. Mind you, China is surrounded by powerful nations. Some of them have enormous militaries, some of them have high-tech militaries, and some of them are belligerent and willing to blackmail with nukes. Asia is a difficult continent to be a stable nation on, and China occupies a big portion of it. I think we're witnessing China coming around to "big-stick ideology." It's based on an African proverb.
If they are made in China they can be made better somewhere else but maybe for more since other countries don't use slave labor as much as China does. @@xarifa777
The combat radius of the J-20 can cover the entire first island chain without loading auxiliary fuel tanks. With the aiding of air tankers. It should be possible to penetrate to the vicinity of Hawaii. Of course, it is a ghostly presence for anti-aircraft radars in Taiwan and Okinawa, as well as in the Japan.
Many times, when it comes to Japan and South Korea, it's about how much F35 they will have. Unfortunately, by the time they have so many F35, the number of J20 may already be several thousand.
@@henrynagel7175 nope actually technology is the one that matter now in war.do you think that a 3 gen plane has a any luck against a 4 or 5 gen plane?good luck if you believe that
Worth noting that the relative investment in production has been lower for the J20. The US has spent almost a decade to get production up to full scale, with procurement chains across the globe. China only first flew the J20 in 2011, and got from initial prototype production, through testing, initial procurement, and to full scale production in 14 years total. China could easily expand its production into the hundreds per year if it wished to, though full production would not come online until 2030 at this point.
The only reason China is not mass-producing the J-20 is that the engines are not ready yet. Now, with the WS-15 specifically designed for the J-20 ready, we will soon see China's production capability.
Americans tend to have trouble comprehending the scale China operate at. Case in point, China installed more industrial manufacturing robots in the last 12 month, than the total number of robots operating in the US.
I think the J 20 is a solid aircraft, but nothing special. I think it’s true power is going to be in its numbers. You don’t necessarily need the best aircraft when you have thousands and thousands of pretty good aircraft. Some say quality over quantity, but quantity has a quality all its own as an American General once said.
Regardless of how the J-20 performs, someone has to take the place of budget friendly arms suppliers; a position Russia will likely lose in the coming years.

J-20, Su-57 and F-22/F-35 cqn be compared but all of them are conceived based on different doctrines and requirements. Which means you cannot simply equate them during evaluation of their capabilities in order to give a conclusion on which is "better".
That's somewhat true but overall, they are all supposed to fill the same air-superiority role with some ability to strike ground targets. The J-20 requires greater range and can't rely on aircraft carriers like F-35 can but isn't as stealthy as F-35 or F-22 - this is because of a technological gap and the greater size of the J-20. Reportedly, it has the same radar cross section as F-18 Superhornets that have been given a stealth coating. The SU-57 on the other hand, is also large and not very stealthy (having been detected whilst on combat operations and subject to public ridicule) but there are open questions as to whether or not the Russian Airforce can afford to maintain its supposedly antiquated stealth coating. The J-20 is still a huge leap forward for China, whereas the rare SU-57 is a shadow of Soviet ambitions.

I don't think we should underestimate China like they are still in the 90s. Yes, the US has a stronger military than China in a global conflict, but China has the homefield advantage when it comes to the Pacific. While they are throwing 100% of their military and economy at the war effort, the US will throw maybe 30%? 40%? 50%? If China performs another Pearl Harbor v.2.0, then maybe we'll mobilize at 100% like we did in WW2, but if they contain the war to just Taiwan? I don't know if America will have the appetite for a total war.

people like to dismiss china technologically, but they out do the US in most high-tech sectors. a simple google search will prove my point. not 50 cent tard, just looking at the facts. china is a peer to the US no matter how much pride you hold in US dominance. it doesn't change the facts.
The fact of the matter is still that china hasn't reached the same level of technical superiority that the US has. The United States has DECADES of military experience, they know what works and what doesn't work. They have the experience and technology, as well as the record to back it up. China's airforce has little to no Practical experience. Training maybe, but no war time experience at all. The entire world may agree that china is out-producing the US, and is catching up a little bit in terms of technology. But they also agree that the J20 is still no match for the F35 and F22.
@@Rapier1-1 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dream on. If you are so high-tech and secure, then why do you have to keep an eye on what China is doing ? Why call other nations to help you in the Red Sea when the Houthis have no so-called "high-tech" arsenal as yours ? You fled from mere peasants in Vietnam and the latest, in Afghanistan and to a great extent, Iraq
I am inclined to agree with you. It is dangerous to underestimate China. China has a space station, and they did that completely on their own. China has brought their Type 346 radar, which is used on their O52 Destroyer on par with the US AGEIS radar system, and while it may not be able to lock on to an F-35 or F-22, it will absolutely be able to detect them. Stealth is only good if no one knows where you are, but if everyone knows where you are, then stealth loses a lot of is value. The Chines also have invested in hypersonic weapons and now has air, ship, and land launched systems. They also now have ballistic anti-ship missiles. (The ability of the S band radar to see the F-35 and F-22 is clearly why the US is rushing the NGAD program. They know that the Type 346 radar can give position info on the F-35s and F-22s, which would allow the J-20s to intercept them from the side. Everything the Chinese are doing is to support an invasion of Taiwan, and war games done by commercial companies have basically said that the US would lose 3 carriers and 200 to 400 airplanes, and in the end, they still may not be able to prevent the fall of Taiwan.
It's simply silly to assume that Japanese and especially South Korean F-35s (and other military assets) would automatically engage in hostilities if the US started a war with China. The same can be said for Canadian forces. Sure, the Brits will want to get involved. Old imperialist habits die hard.
In addition to J-20, China also has another stealth fighter J-35, albeit lighter. This J-35 matches F-35 whilst J-20 is, notches above J-35. The notion that Britain, Canada and Australia will come to aid USA with their respective F-35 is laughable. How are these planes to come approachable China' s coast line? Canada and Australia do not have aircraft carrier to ferry the F-35s whilst British aircraft carrier will be sunk by China's DF21, DF26 or DF17 2000 km off the coast line of China. Both south Korea and Japan F-35 will not able to take off since their airbase runway will be destroyed by China's DF missiles.
J-35 is meant for carriers that use catapults so that they can carry full fuel and weapons. The j-35 is much smaller than j-20 because it needs to be shipborne, and its design is actually more similar to the f-35 than the j-20 is to the f-22.
And if i may add, pictures of the j35 online arenr actually j35s, but planes with j35 parts on them to test and calibrate, the number of j35s that China has is probably less than 10, and shouldnt expect final productions until their fujian aircraft carrier is done.
J35 is simlair to F35 in size. But the role is very different. F35 is a mutirole fighter, while J35 is simlair to F22, its an air superiority fighter, it has a more slim design, optimized to fly faster, with better maneuverbility etc, its weapon bay likely only can carry air to air missiles.
Stealth fighter is unproven there never has been any official test between these jets. The j35 matches the f35 according to who? You realize the reason why China bought Russian jets was because they weren’t able to figure out how build their own? How do you know China is going to shoot first rather than Korea and Japan ?
Curious to hear about that 98th brigade. I live in Chengdu and heard several sonic booms while hiking near Chengdu in early September. Didnt see any airframes (on a steem mtn with thick foliage) but interesting to me.

You know what...the Brits are very smart and have a clever aircraft, Eurofighter Typhoon which I reckon might just out fly and out gun a typical Chinese J20 pilot. With its 2 engines it's fast, much better dogfighter and long range Meteor missiles which are reportedly the best in the world. I think Typhoon's better radar and ECM equipment might make up for its lack of stealth design. Be good to see them clash over the Sth China Sea ;)

@@ChangeEvery14Daysas far as fighters are concerned the USAF is doing alright, with the F-15EX and F-35 but it will take a while to replace all their F-16s but what it will come to is if china would even bother sending those J-7s into combat. An F-16/15 comparison for China would be their j-10 and J-11
What is strange is that i have not heard of any J-20 crashes or mishaps. It is impossible to build a perfect plane or have no pilot error. All fighter jets will eventually crash if you fly them enough. This tells me that the Chinese arent really pushing the J-20 to its performance limits yet because they are worried about certain design flaws.
@@Peizxcv A380 had an engine blowout that was very well publicized. A350's have dozens of recorded mishaps. Boeing 787 had the fleet grounded after windscreen cracking incidents. @armamentarmedarm1699 Don't forget rocket forces too lol. Most wargames show that aircraft losses for both sides would be primarily destroyed on the ground.
Logisitics will probably be the primary factor in the pacific. Producing and moving equipment and ammunition, training people how to use and maintain them. The ability to refuel, how long can these machines remain operational before they need maintenance. Is that possible without being in range of cruise missiles. Keep in mind the US has commitments through many fronts not just the pacific. China's official UN borders are not limited to its shore, so what would be the political situation at UN. Not to mention economic fallout for most nations in the world. Its a bit hard for me to see such a conflict not drag everyone into WW3. Its just a bad move, and best to be avoided by every side.
@@CulturalXplorer19 You have no evidence that they will continue growing. Firstly, they are headed into a demographic crisis, they tried to fix it by ending the one-child policy and paying people to have children, yet birth rates continue to fall and they don't have immigration to make up for it. Secondly, because of government control, the only investment people can make is housing, so the Chinese housing market is fucking ginormous, and now the housing market is collapsing steadily and violently. Thirdly, China has a skyrocketing youth unemployment rate by their OWN statistics. Lastly, China is not that wealthy on a per-person basis, it's still deep in the third world when it comes to GDP/C. They are old, poor, and have a collapsing labor and investment market, which does not suggest they will keep growing. It also suggests that they will not be totally insulated against a great depression scenario. During 2008, the US lost its entire housing market, but because other investment types were not banned by the government like in China, we didn't lose the entire investment and labor market. It matters because J-20 is a dual engine air dominance fight, and the F-35 is a single engine strike aircraft. The closer comparison is the F-22 and the J-20. The US is going to be at its weakest during the later half of the 2020s, until the 6th gen air dominance platforms start kicking in. The abandonment of the F-22 program left the US very vulnerable in a war against a peer opponent. China, is the only peer opponent in this case, for a near peer opponent like Russia (now probably not even that) the F-35 would still be very effective since the Russians can't compete in the air and the stealth strike capabilities of the F-35 combined with himars, cruise missiles, harms and such would make short work of SAMs and AA platforms. Ironically, given the US has basically abandoned the middle east, China is *the* only plausible war on the horizon for America.
Yeah we only have less than 200 raptors.... but no one else has the raptor. It is the only thrust vectored 5th gen fighter that is super maneuverable, besides the felon, which i have heard russia doesn't have many of. But overall the United states has simply more military aircraft than the next few countries put together. US military budget is insane. And they keep upgrading the f35, f15, and f16. I don't see the US at a disadvantage in any aspect of war. The US has more aircraft carriers than just about the rest of the world combined. Including the other superpowers.
@@worldtraveler8613 Agility is becoming less and less important nowadays as missiles are just too good. This is a big part of the reason that the J-20 doesn’t have a gun, because merging is stupid and risks the aircraft for no benefit. China has the tech to build thrust vectored engines, there’s just very little advantage to them in modern warfare. What matters is range, kinetic performance, missile range, altitude, and avionics suite. All areas where the J-20 is a full peer to anything the US operates. You understand that the 6th Gen NGADs will likely be less agile than the F-22, and will in fact closer follow the design spec of the J-20 (long range, fast , high flying, agile enough but not overly important, very long range missiles, hyper advanced avionics).

The J20 is designed with China's military doctrine in mind. That of A2D2. Area denial. It's big, carries lots of fuel, and misiles. So, very long range. So, engage enemy targets past the first island chain.
Maybe if they can figure out how to make bigger, more reliable engines for the J-20.
The awacs. Tankers, etc will be safe far the front.
So no, they are not at risk.

@@aitorbleda8267You're not getting the point. The range of the J-20s, couple with possible mid air refulling, and those air tankers and awacs are vulnerable targets.

Numbers always matter when it comes to war. Don't even think otherwise.

The J-20 is still a huge leap forward for China, whereas the rare SU-57 is a shadow of Soviet ambitions.

people like to dismiss china technologically, but they out do the US in most high-tech sectors. a simple google search will prove my point. not 50 cent tard, just looking at the facts. china is a peer to the US no matter how much pride you hold in US dominance. it doesn't change the facts.

Tell me where you get your drugs because clearly they're strong.

More engines equal better!
The deciding factor will be which system of fighters will be able to co-ordinate better against the other.
@sesameseedbar8853 any war against china would inevitably become a world war, in which we will get some use out of the f22 on other fronts lol
Downside to having dual engines is it's certainly more detectable in the infrared spectrum than a single engine. Especially with F-35's DAS.
In a big war, not only would the US keep all its F35 production, but it would enable its allies to build them as well.
I think a big war would be a big problem for all countries’ production. China especially would be facing Japan right on its doorstep, which would make trade really difficult.
F-35 could not be produced in other nations for that short time, would take several
Years to get factories going.
@@deriznohappehquite Yes, for Japan, they die without trade, literally.
China are huge producer of all materials they need, and they have Russia next door that can sell what China need.
Bro pls make a video about Germany, Italy and French military modernization
Binkov doll is made in China.
So is everything around you...😂
......but they will last longer than the J20!?!
* gasp *
Now I kinda get why Chinese air force want to develop and buy J31 from Shenyang
It doesn't exist. It is why China crank j20.
And SU57 is still at 10
How many heavily sanctioned nations designed and built a fifth gen multirole fighter alone?
No its not they got one company of them two days ago
They have doubled production. Only about 24 a year are expected to the best of my knowledge. But the SU-57 has FAR MORE REAL COMBAT EXPERIENCE and kills than any other country regarding 5th generation fighters. F-22 has only an unmanned air balloon! While SU-57 was bathed in combat in Syria and perfected in Ukraine.
And we know there is no less than 26 in service because you can count them on satellites. Well there may be more there's only 26 out in the open.
@@amr8457 for sure great aircraft but its millitary doctrine is for defence not offense. You have good video on TacEQ dont know if there are subtitoes thought
@@amr8457 the su57 has never seen combat in Ukraine the claims of combat in Syria are pretty amusing, not to mention it has the radar cross section of a Druken Russian, the SU57 is a propaganda Piece the most expensive in history, while the Chinese and Americans are producing at scale. Even if the propaganda was reality and su57 was the scariest thing to fly since the age of dinosaurs… what use is it when outnumbered 150 to 1
f35 is a fat turkey,i really enjoyed watching it at war
Damm those kids are working hard
Could you make a video of the latest US air force vs Russian air force comparison?
For total number of fighters, number of aircraft with AESA radar, number of 5th generation fighters, etc..
Ukraine has shot down 110% of Russian aircraft. So... that's only negative 10% remaining.
there no russian airforce left
Russia doesn't have any 5th gen fighters. The engines on the SU-57 are more exposed than an F-15's are and that's not even a stealth aircraft. I wouldn't be surprised if its skin is made of metal too...
J20 already 300 deployed
Well we can debate how effective the J20 is but we can't deny the one truth in all of this, the Chinese J20 actually has the numbers and intention to keep increasing their production rate. And in modern war having a working equipment in front line is more than enough of a deterrent to be taken seriously.
"Working equipment"😂
@@philipsmith8644 well we better hope that the quotation remains, otherwise hubris will bite our ass back for underestimating an actual near peer adversary.
Same for the F-35, J-20 production is just getting started whilst F-35s are already numbering at 900+ and more and more countries are buying.
@@leogazebo5290 They've been producing bad copies of 40 tear old Russian engines to power these flying bags of crap for years. I doubt were talking about a near peer. Otherwise you're right of course.
@@philipsmith8644 Dude technology isn't fix, it isn't constant. The Chinese aren't that brain dead to just let a 40+ year old engine be their end all be all, its already 2023 decades pass and believe it or not, they innovate. I'm not one to uplift China but I'm also not that dumb as to underestimate the 2nd largest economy in the world, a country the US see as a Great Power Rival. We can make fun of them all we want but we must not allow hubris to strike and karma to catch up.
The J-20 is less of a fighter jet and more of a long-range Missile Truck designed to stealthily flank the enemy from the sides and to assist the fighters (or ships) in battle from distance with long-range missiles. Then go back home and re-arm.
That's pretty much what all modern fighter aircraft do. Be they Chinese, Russian or American.
Long range missile truck so every fighter since 1960s? Flank the enemy? In an air battle you should always flank the enemy.
@@AlreadyTakenTag Umm...the role of F35 and Other American fleet say otherwise..J20 was literally built as a protecter of China's Pacific fleet..So it main Purpose is like a tank but in a air
Engine problems most likely would hurt the production of J-20.
Engine problem is for F35, it made F35 perform gymnastic on runway. 😅 J20 can't compare to F35 because it don't know how to perform gymnastic on runway😅
@@lovepapa9559 Do you know 成都航太公司 where the J20 are produced? 遵義/西安/瀋陽 all have serious engine production issues.
F35 ends up the same as U2
J-35 means destroy (or ‘rape’, forgive my French) f35. F35 means F-ucked up #35🤣🤣🤣
One thing's for sure and that's the fact that China has plenty of funds to back up their military projects.
That airplane is something to worry about. I hope we are worried!!!
Absolutely nobody asked 👍
I wonder how stealthy the rare end of the plane is? It looks so normal compared to F22
"rear end"? The rear isn't the part of the aircraft you have to worry about being "stealthy". Once you have breached the enemy's airspace it is already too late for them.
@@james-faulknerYou still need a stealthy rear, especially in contested airspace. The F-22 was designed to compete in contested airspace, hence the extreme stealth and low observability from all directions.
It got all the features you would expect with serrated nozzles and alignment of edges. F22 got 2D trust vectoring so obviously going to look different, compare it to an F-35 instead.
@@memeityy Well I appreciate that an engineer on the airframe has provided me with their professional opinion. It must upset you when internet illiterates talk about things we could not possibly understand. There are some of us so wilfully ignorant that they think the term "meme" is defined as a joke on the internet. LawL, what morons , right!
Thank you for your opinion, I am better for you telling me.
Yeah, the exhausts on the F22 are tucked away up inside the airframe to minimize the heat signature from behind. The J20 has fully open exhaust
I'm surprised you haven't made binkoff hand puppets yet
The Chinese a great bunch of lads.
Ive heard 230+ a year
Super sonic drones they are slow flying till they get near a target then accelerate quickly to supersonic speed. Pretty much idling missiles.
Any major engagement between Chinese and U.S. forces that comes as a result of a planned conflict of any kind would likely include multiple EMP strikes on North America, virtually haulting all F-35 production in the United States. It's possible that the U.S. has EMP plans of its own related to China, but I would consider it almost a certainty that the U.S. mainland would not be left untouched to ramp up production as in WWII or even maintain production as it is today.
There won't be a war btw china and the u.s. the u s govt knows too well china is not Afghanistan or some poor countries who don't have a decent military. Look just how the u.s can't take the risks to get involved directly in ukraine against Russia which is weakened. Now, visualize a stronger china. Military propaganda is a tactic to just fill up the pockets of politicians and military contractors.
@@dnn32it’s not that the US can’t take the risk in Ukraine its that the vast majority of the US does not want boots on the ground. That’s a political reason not a military reason.
@@dnn32 What stupidity. We struggled in Afghanistan because we weren't fighting a military.
