Saw these guys two years ago in the Tunnels Bristol UK. Fucking awsome!!! Now the years have gone on it was a quieter function and they ended up just mingling with the crowd after their set. These guys rock!
I saw them in Glasgow that tour mate, getting older and obviously not as mental when I first saw them in barrowlands bout '92ish but still amazing, so happy to have seen these talented guys
As a Commerclal Band they they played OK Rock n Roll!! But this is a tune (Bad Brains) {Sail On}!! They went to the Extreme!! Really put a mark in me!! Fast Tune and Hard Guitar!! Cool Tune!! ({Punk Not Dead})!!
@Hertsman50 I don't know why people are bashing on one type or another of music I listen to rap, emo, hardcore, and basically all generes of music so it makes no sense why people are hating, just listen to the damn music and have a good time
Agreed, The drummer gets off at some points which kind of bothers me, and then changes from the snare being on 2 and 4 to being on 1 and 3 which really bothers me, then again it is a live show, and the energy was still prolly there
a bit of a disappointing cover.. too bad their drummer wasn't up to the task... if your drummer ain't hc, you ain't gonna play hc × it's not all up to speed
im not a fan of this band, or this cover. this guy has NOTHING on H.R kita114! and another shred passage in the place of Dr. Know's fantastic solo. sorry fans but i do not like this one bit.
The prodigal sons paying tribute to their fathers
Long live to afro punk
At the time, it was more like covering your big brothers. ;-)
Did you know there's an afro punk festival every year in California?
Ronnie Boyd do reggae bands come too?
@@powertothepeople3820 lol how is that punk though they´re all styled like our generation the 90´s and punk is multiracial
I love that stage!!! My band and I must have done more than 90 shows there!!!! RIP CBGB
R.I.P. CBGB.
Thanks for the memories.
I am crying...
The 80’s early 90’s were the greatest years of music ever.
Few can do Bad Brains justice but not surprised these guys nailed it like this.
Holy shit that looked like a great fuckin show.. most underrated rock band
Corey does a mean H.R.! Nailed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More angst more energy more badassness. So fucking good!

They tored together in '93. One of my favorite shows.
Best version ever .
A wild gig indeed, miss those good ol days of stage diving 😅
id like to see bad brains and living colour perform this or another song together. that would be a great show to see
HELL YES! Living Colour and Bad Brains!
I loved playing at this place!!! I miss CBGB so much
one of the best live shows I've seen, how could anyone not like this?
Guitarist totally nailed it, cool.
yes the guitarists name is Veronas Reid he's the one that formed living colour
As a Commerclal Band they they played OK Rock n Roll!! But this is a tune (Bad Brains) {Sail On}!! They went to the Extreme!! Really put a mark in me!! Fast Tune and Hard Guitar!! Cool Tune!! ({Punk Not Dead})!!
Oi!!! Oi!!! Oi!!!

I saw Living Colour live in boston andthey did this. it was nuts
Lindo, magnífico, extraordinário! 2 bandas lendárias! Obrigado por compartilhar.
I think that is Scott Ian at 1:25
Yep thats Scotty and I think Joey Belladonna
@@christopherbenjamin3242 that just shows the genuine environment music had back in the day...
That's a shame they're there.
@@Anthonybchannel Why??
terrific drumming
That little drummer smile ...
Excelent! Is my favorite Living Colour video, Tks for sharing.
Mi video favorito de Living Colour.
Just wow!
anyone else notice scott ian from anthrax in the audience at 1.23 for a few seconds?
Yes. He had hair.
Yeah eww
Scott was into a lot of different stuff
this is a really great cover.
Living brains/bad Colour I totally dig it 'mon...
God, I remember this on Headbangers Ball. Great cover.
SICK! They did an amazing job of it!
Que buenos son, cualquier cancion que toquen.
Back when a HC crowd utilized the entire floor. Now you've got 6 or 7 guys swinging their arms and kicking with a nice safe bubble around them.
Like the original vocals style betters but very great energy! Cool cover!
At CBGB's no less !!
Fitting.
that drum kit is Insane.. SONIC BOOM !
Nice cover!
Impresionante
A rotten good time!
Calhoun winking!😅
I had no idea that they covered this song!
That f*ckin' jams!
And Muzz with the fingers !!!
DAMMMMM forgot about this song........ BAD ME......... JUST saw it on Head Bangers Ball April 20 1991 - 16:25 in
A cover that's sailin' on!
UNITY! PMA!
I wonder if there's a Quickness demo floating around the internet. Mackie Jayson (ex Cro-Mags) on drums and Taj Singleton as a lead vocal.
very very good
HELL YEAH
😍
0:38 may be sweating his balls off but still the coldest mf ever
> than no doubt sailin on cover
cool cover
Fuck yeah

i was expecting shite,how wrong i was,great version.
Hard to see but there are members of Anthrax in the audience.
this is the oompah pah version. yes, living color nail it but they don't have that 'thing' that made the brains so special.
the clean cut punks are hilarious.
0:38
what happened to bands like these..
No one points out that Dave Sabo and Scott Ian were front stage
zer!!!
ТРЕК НИШТЯК!!!!
I can see Charlie Benante and Scott Ian
Knew they would give it the energy it deserved, everyone who covers this song sounds tired. They sound properly punk-rock-fuckin angry
in the end theres more things that unfiy us, theres no white punk or afro punk. Its just punk!!
Chora
The snare hitting kinda ruins this but drummer is really cute though.
Too fast
Yup, a great tribute but not the real thing.
Agreed, The drummer gets off at some points which kind of bothers me, and then changes from the snare being on 2 and 4 to being on 1 and 3 which really bothers me, then again it is a live show, and the energy was still prolly there
not even dude
