Thanks for posting this! Its a shame Bose doesn't provide the A-D-V-up/down arrow instructions but whatever. This helped me resync earbud pairing with the right (master) earbud after replacing the left defective one Thanks Make It Work!
I will try. Both buds pair and have sound seperately but not together. Let's see if this works. Cheers.edit. did the update twice but didn't change anything and I am skeptical because when taking the buds out it spoke and tried to connect to my previous device. So it hasn't gone back to factory settings. Any other ideas?

If after you fully charged a case with earbuds and you don't see a light on your right side earbuds after you removed it from the case that mean battery died.
I did all the steps but it still doesn't work😢 I noticed that when the update was done, the lights in the box did not flash as in the video, only the lighting remained constant
Somebody indicate me the pairing method.Right black cover model seemed battery gone,therefore prepared workable right amber cover used one.Enable left and right charging also both righting without charger.Right can hear,but left can’t hear at all after Bluetooth connected. Suspect right and left pairing failed.Someguy know right and left pairing on this situation?
This doesn't work for me, bose updater says too many cases connected. I contacted Bose and they confirmed this will not work. I believe there is no way to pair an unmatched pair (found this out after I bought a replacement bud. So if you came here thinking you can do that just get new headphones and save yourself the trouble)
Bought a replacement right earbud, but i cant update software or sync it with the old left earbud. Everytime i update, bose updater prompt said earbud is missing. I guess charging case cant detect my replacement right earbud. Help..
