Love the 20% cam for lining and solid black then I use the 33% for everything else! Love it 6.6to7 volts for 33% cam and 7.5 to7.7 volts for 20% cam lining!! Amazing machine Neuma 4
I love colour and im staring at your neck thinking that could use I tiny more turquoise/teal blue whatever that is ,,, just a little more ... thanks for these informative vids more like this in future I will definitely watch
Still using coils since 06. Would like to attempt the switch but every rotary I've used has felt crazy. Its like i can't feel it tattooing the person and its incredibly difficult to get anything solid without going over it a dozen times. Even when solid, i feel like i can see through the tattoo. Coils produce none of these problems, opposite problems if any. Idk, maybe its me and not the machines. I see others do fine with both.
Try the Spektra Flux. Solid saturation every time. And about not feel it tattooing a person, try tattooing grapefruits, it’ll help you with that. I can hear and feel with both my stretch hand and the machine when I’m piercing the skin because I was taught with grapefruits during my apprenticeship years ago.
OK, i'm at 13 mins and this is not what i was expecting from the title... where's all the machines?.... i really thought you would be discussing at least 10 different machines and which ones are good for whom...
Interesting convo hearing about hard hitting machines and soft hitting machines. I’m a beginner tattooer (I’ve only been tattooing on skin for 1 month) and I’m interested in the nuema 4, but I’m worried it’s too complex for someone whose still working on the basics like lining, shading, color blends. I don’t feel like I’m stable enough in my tattooing to take advantage of the cam system and changable grips.
If you have an understanding of what they do and how you can use each profile to your advantage then it’s definitely worth it in my opinion.
get it it a good machine will save you years of struggles
Can you do something on Acus M1? I'm super intrested on that machine
Poch says he prefers the rook quill pen. I think it hits at 3.2 or maybe 3
My lines have always come out better with a coil machine.
I only use a coil for lining.
Tried rotary and the lines are poor.
I use a kubin for some shading, packing and color.
Have you used this guys Nuema 4? I’m hearing they line just as good as a coil. Thinking about picking one up.
@@Tducks72 Neuma 4 sucks. Overpriced it’s a big money grab. No one even buys it their user base is small as. Lines okay because of the weight from the grips. And saturation sucks. You always see people buy it use it for 7 months then move on from it. The only ppl who hype it up are Carson’s advertising buddy’s lol.
@@sendlocation8476 thanks for the response, it came a week too late tho lol . It arrives tomorrow, hopefully it works out.🤞🏼
@@Tducks72 it works great don't let haters ruin your experience give all the cams a chance I really like it is it my one and only machine I'll never use anything else no is it a great tool to add to your arsenal fuck yes not only does it line great it provides great color blending low trauma capabilities
Im real interested in trying the Numa for lining.
And the avenger 2.0 pro to vlad blad?
it’s one of my best friends
I'm a big fan of coils, also build and use my own direct drives since early 2000's. Couldn't get along with the pen form factor, but the Neuma4 has changed everything - so comfortable to use, and the bearing profiles are definitely make a difference.
Tuning the skin. Beautiful simile.
Pooch uses a Rook Quill if I’m not mistaken
When I,m working on fake skin, machine is at 7 to 8 volts,on human skin 6 volts.I do very little on human skin because I,m a beginner. It took me almost a year to get to know what machine,volts,give...,that I can somehow work.I,m probably going to have to study my whole life.Good conversation, keep going, cao.
you got this man, learning that way is the best way. if you cant the "traditional" route. whatever your name is i hope to read it in a tattoo magazine.
@@jameswcarr3635 To make your words gilded.
I would buy one needle for diabetics. Pull up some ink form my printer. And tattoo like a really awesome tattoo. Diabetic needles offer best BOG and DWELL time. All the 'give" you need.
My neuma came in today im excited to see how this 20% performs
Is it good ? Honestly
@@Mikaisafk i really love it. With my proton i kept feeling like i really had to push into the skin to get a good even line weight... with the stainless steel hybrid grip on the neuma i can just let it float and the machine does the work
Another great episode, love hearing about these machines from Carson Hill. Looking forward to the whole conversation dropping!
I also got the Phil Garcia Rose Tutorial, it was pretty awesome! It was kinda crazy to see how many times he would go back into an area but I’ve started doing that and seeing some great results haha I have a very soft hand though I’m told and don’t have issues with beating up the skin even though I run my machines on the harder side.
I think the Neuma is going to be my next machine though... 🤔 😅
is it good i put it on my things to get i just saw he had a tutorial a few days ago
Please create a coil battery machine
Freewire
Or u can attach with clip cord rca converter
All of them
I love your intros lol
Excellent
Great Episodes! I love this tattoo nerd shit🤣 I mean that in the best way possible. Any conclusions on why the 40% makes a bigger hole?
My only theory is the lag in the time the needle stays in the skin just holds it open a little longer
@@atomic_inkjections4724 I agree I started to imagine skin to be more like water and imagined the skin rippling around the needle with 40% opposed to the 20% were the ripples assist with closing the hole made by the needle. All speculative of corse, just an idea that came to mind.
@@atomic_inkjections4724 it goes in the skin 40% more just look at how the cam spins there for the needle goes in further making a bigger hole as needle tapers
Awesome Episode ‼️‼️😎😎Absolutely Love the Series 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank You Both 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey i love how you youre videos i can allways lear and that means a lot to me thank you!! So id like to hear your opinions on speed (hz) of tge machine! Im at the moment running 2 absolute different machines the wand packer 4.2 stroke and a swasdrive brush 3.5 stroke. I can do pretty much everything with both machines. Like the wand will turn into a soft machine for b&g at lower voltage but really punchy hit.and the brush will punch hard as hell running faster (one pass ) but still will not beat up skin. Id love to hear your opinions cheers
The neuma4 will be my next machine for sure
Coils all day
You have the best intros 😂🤣 Hilarious!
