Today's quintessential metal band. These ladies SHINE in every possible way. Not just now, but since 2016. In their own unique way they have added tons of value to the genre. For those who have the opportunity to see one or more of their shows: don't procrastinate, buy those tickets and add a piece of paradise to your life.
A new EP and also a Blu-ray will be released on August 28. „LOVEBITES EP II“ will also contain a re-recording of the debut „LOVEBITES EP“ in a limited edition „Memorial of the Warrior Souls“ is the recording of last years paid livestream which features 7 live versions from „Judgement Day“ album including „Soldier stands solitarily“

Lovebites really has no weak songs. They have bangers and ballads. Japan's artist and music scene is Way,way more diverse and entertaining than many of us in the West are used too. Performance is the Golden Rule.
M&M practice together away from the band and while polar opposites in personality blend together flawlessly. They create these riffs during those practice jam sessions and they are just wicked having blended many of their own influences into the composition (Slayer, Maiden, Priest, Testament, Metallica, etc...). This is THEIR song and it fires them up and the crowd when it is played. This was just before COVID hit and shut everything down so they have actually gotten better since then. This concert was awesome from beginning to end. The way they start the show with Thunder Vengeance as a entrance song set up the environment for the night. As for other crowd participation songs, not sure if you have already reacted to them, but M.D.O. and Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down) from Knocken at Heavens Gate 2023 were awesome as well. For Stand and Deliver, you can kinda hear the crowd singing with them. M.D.O. is more like Raise Some Hell in terms of the crowd interaction. All three songs are in your face good. Raise Some Hell was the 2nd song I heard and I played it over and over and knew the lyrics within a day or two. Great Reaction!!!!

Girls just wanna have some fun. In their recent tour in Europe, at small venues, they added an animated vocal intro with the participation of the crowd. Next recommendation “Dancing with the devil”, “Spellbound” (live)
Raise some Hell is a live song. Its all about crowd engagement. Asami is telling who they are and let everyone shine. Its a simple straight forward song just going full speed ahead, except for artificial harmonics, key changes and solos. Its a way to get the crowd going, to raise the temperature.
OK, I thought I did not manage to write my first reply, maybe pushed reload before save. So I wrote it again. But it seems like it just did take some time to show up. So, now I have said it twice :) Better twice than never.
Fun, cute, friendly, with impressive quality... Could you ask for anything more? Asami and Midori unleashed, moving the audience, with a spectacular Miho....a great show, ideal to be performed where they deserve, in a large auditorium.
Raise som Hell is a live song 100%. It is all about crowd engagement. Asami is telling who they are and let everyone shine. And it is full speed ahead without any really complicated changes in the song, except the artificial harmonics, key changes and solos. When the song is over, everyone is happy. Its a crowd lifter, raising the temperature.
Miyako has a YT channel showing how she customizes her guitars to get the sound she wants. Not only is she hot as hell but she is musically intelligent. Honestly they are all hot as hell. I am seeing a lot of Gene Simmons facial expressions in Midori.

Being LoveBitten and Floored. And you dont need anything else. I dont listen to anything else-only Lovebites and Nightwish (with Floor). Dont need to, dont want too. And its all great...
If you haven't done it already, a good follow on from this song would be 'Scream for me', the live version from 'Daughters of the Dawn' would be my recommendation; th-cam.com/video/acwkphgzNg8/w-d-xo.html 'Asami, "OK Haruna, give me the Beat"' '
Great song, probably their most fun song for me, and I think what makes it so great is that relentless sense of fun. The way Midori, Asami, and Haruna and to a lesser extent Miho perform helps a lot too, but this song has a different energy than so many of their other songs. Unfortunately this seems to have fallen off of their setlists. It's not on their live releases since and I have yet to see a fan cam of it. When I was learning guitar, harmonic pinches were something I had a lot of trouble getting down. I couldn't get the timing down until a friend worked with me on it for a while. Then all of a sudden it all clicked and I felt dumb for letting it take me that long to understand the technique. Now all these years later I can pull it off no problem, but for some reason pinches didn't make sense to me the way other techniques did. Oh well.
Make some noise, raise some hell, heard this live in Germany a few weeks ago, you can't imagine how good these girls are
same :) It's one of my favorites and I was so happy they played it :D

Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Heavy noise on bass
Who is playing?Who’s that chick?Pounding on the drums
