Just a note...this guide ended in May of 2022. Since that time their award count is over 1000. Also, they have not won a Grammy, although they have been nominated several times. The Grammys have a history of being very racist and xenophobic, and they dislike "boy bands". They are happy to have BTS perform because it brings huge amounts of viewers, but they likely will never award them.

"93 and "94 are the years they were born. RM, Suga, and Jin were signed to Big Hit's training program @ 2010. Last to be signed was Jimin in 2012 and he had so little time before BTS's debut in June 2013, that he was under alot of pressure and stress thinking he might niot get to debut with them, even though he was living with them. He hardly slept at all.

Also JK recently on leave from the army decided to go on wevers live to talk and aing for fans. 20.2 million fans went live with him. Up to date over 2 billion have liked it.

Korean age calculation was different when this was made. So they are 1 to 2 years younger than stated. RM for instance only graduated high school a few weeks before debut. Jungkook signed at 13 went into that dorm room with BTS just before his 14th birthday.

The only charity donation BTS ever informed ARMY & the public about is there collaboration with UNICEF - Love Yourself campaign. They have donated 5% of the revenue from every album since the Love Yourself trilogy albums to the campaign, along with 100% of the proceeds from the merch on the official Love yourself website. All other charity donation have been discovered by either ARMY or news outlets. For example the black live matter donation was disclosed a week after they donated when Variety magazine discovered it. They are very humble & respectful to other & ARMY in return try to emulate them (unfortunately there are cosplayers that have infiltrated & do not show the same respect & try to give ARMY a bad reputation). We respect their privacy, if they don’t tell us about it, then it’s none of our business (family dating, holidays etc). If ARMY see them out & it’s not an official event/schedule, we walk away & leave them be, we also do not mention the encounter (for their safety, don’t want to disclose their location etc). V had a holiday in Hawaii after their last concert in US, and although ARMY members came across him & his family no one talked about or mention any locations he had been at (we knew he stayed in the US, as did J-Hope & RM but we didn’t know where they were until they uploaded pictures & video after leaving). V sent out a thank you message to ARMY for respecting his & his families privacy & not revealing their location. The love & respect goes both ways. Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole 😂💜. Yes it makes a lot of Army emotional. BTS never forgets that it is Army's support that has helped them get to where they are and it is truly amazing at how humble they are and grateful for their success. Their success however was hard fought, tooth and nail stuff. Your reaction was like mine when I first saw this video. The tears, the understanding of their struggles and hardships and their deep connection and love for each other. The perfect blend happened at the right time to give us BTS. I'm in my sixties and love this band. I'm so proud of their success and achievements. I've said it before I sometimes feel like they are my boys - a proud parent by proxy😂. Their real parents must be proud of them.❤💜

The dates in the title card for each member (1993, 1994, etc) are the year they were born, not when they started doing music haha. Just wanted to let you know! Suga, for example was born in March 1993 and started rapping at age 13 (in 2006). Bts was formed from 2010 to 2012, and the group officially debuted with their first album in June 2013 (when Suga was 20). Edit: ah, i see you figured it out in your own haha. Noooo ! Those dates you read in each member’s intro is the year they were born ( not the date they’ve been performing). At the beginning of the guide , it was said they debuted in 2013. It can be somewhat confusing. I saw you figured it out afterwards 😉

Thank you for watching this. When you said that Jungkook looked really young, @32:45 , he was 13 years old. He signed with Big Hit and moved into the dorm before his 14th birthday. Jungkook has said several times that the reason he is who he is (including his talent and success) is because of the other members. They raised him; he was able to take/learn the best parts of them to make him who he is. The members actively support each other, including all of their solo projects.

They have been a full group since 2013. Thats when they debuted. They were together approximately a year give or take a few months before they debuted. So when you say they have been doing this since 1994, thats actually when RM and Jhope were born. They were born between 1992 and 1997 with Jin being the oldest and Jungkook being the youngest. Jungkook was only 14 when he joined which is 15 in Korean years. They are considered 1 year old when they are born. So glad to see you reacting. Thank you. Its enjoyable for all of us to see someone genuinely interested in them and not just their music because they are so much more than just their music. They are wonderful human beings with a beautiful message to spread about loving yourself and acceptance of all types of people so long as the people arent toxic to your life. They spread positivity, humilioty, and encourage people to never give up finding and realizing their dreams.

When BTS debuted in 2013 the members ages ranged from 15-20. They all had to take on adult responsibilities to help the team succeed. They faced many hardships (racism, hatred and false accusations) during their rise to fame but they persevered and with ARMY behind them reached the top!! We love the members unconditionally as we have faced every struggle with them. These men are kind, charming, immensely talented, hard working, handsome and humble. Their brotherhood is unbreakable.
