During three weeks, between August and September of 2013, musicians of the Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) were in Sao Paulo for pedagogical activities with teachers and students of Tom Jobim EMESP and Guri. The exchange is the result of a partnership between the Santa Marcelina Cultura and the prestigious french Institution. One of the results of the project was the execution of Ravel's Bolero in the shape of a flashmob, at the Pinacoteca do Estado, on 14th September.
Durante três semanas, entre agosto e setembro de 2013, músicos do Conservatório de Paris estiveram em São Paulo para atividades pedagógicas com professores e alunos da EMESP Tom Jobim e do Guri. O intercâmbio é fruto de parceria entre a Santa Marcelina Cultura e a prestigiada instituição francesa. Como um dos resultados deste intercâmbio, surgiu o flashmob Bolero de Ravel na Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo. - เพลง

I can't believe this was done 10 years ago.
These young people are now in their 20s & some may even be in their early 30s- wow.
Wouldn't be wonderful if all of them got together & went to the Pinacoteca do Estado & played "Bolero", once again. I would love to see & hear it.
Perfect example of how the world should be- everyone contributing in their own way to create such harmony! Makes my heart sing when all ages and backgrounds join together. I am so proud. Thank each and everyone involved.xxx

Os melhores 13 minutos deste dia pandêmico. Que emocionante ver e ouvir jovens brasileiros mostrando sua arte. As lágrimas correm espontaneamente ao ver brotar dos corredores novos músicos portando seus instrumentos e se juntando aos demais. A música fantástica de Ravel une corações e mentes num espaço mágico que adoro visitar. Feliz a cidade que pode abrigar uma joia deste quilate. Parabéns aos idealizadores e participantes, que inveja dos que lá estavam. Quase tudo que vejo desse porte foi gravado na Alemanha ou na Itália, sempre no exterior. When I see children, playing these kinds of instruments and producing this kind of music, my eyes get wet all over. I feel optimistic about the future, knowing that my grandchildren will be safe, in the society, if there are noble souls like these around !!!

In Brazil there are thousands of children playing musical instruments. The vast majority are from a Protestant church called CCB. They only play evangelical music in a way that is hidden.(Google translate)

Это просто невероятный шедевр,лучший оркестр мира.Совсем ещё дети,на улице встретила,никогда бы не поверила бы, что эти мальчишки и девчонки,одетые как попало,могут выдать такую музыку.Это высший пилотаж,ни одной фальшивой ноты,без дирижера,на улице так согласовано играть из разных точек,такой сложный шедевр,это просто браво,брависсимо!И это просто доступно.Я не знаю,платили ли слушатели за такой концерт, но за отвратительные концерты псевдозвезд,безголосых,горлопаны,за всякие шоу,берут такие деньжища и начинается массовый психоз.А тут такие шедевры мировой классики среди таких удивительных стен.Это новое течение в искусстве просто поражает,восхищает,и что особенно восхитительно,что этот шедевр выдают дети.Это сколько же труда,нервов, терпения нужно,чтобы добиться такого четкого согласованного исполнения.Меня в 5лет родители отдали в музыкальную школу, чтобы научить играть на фортепиано и разбираться в музыке.Помню,я школу эту возненавидела,но музыку полюбила слушать и вкус к ней привили,а бабушка и мама водили меня в оперный театр,чтобы приучить любить классику.Как этих мальчишек и девчонок удалось так воспитать в любви к классической музыке и добиться такого совершенного исполнения,когда хочется бегать,прыгать,баловаться,драться,загорать на пляже, просто загадка.Бпаво,браво,брависсимо!💖💖👍

Todas as atividades extracurriculares que exigem dedicação, foco e disciplina, transferência para outros aspectos da vida das pessoas.

This is the best bolero flash mob on TH-cam!! At 6:42 the kid on trombone! 👏 BRAVO!! THE KID KICKS IT OUT HE PLAYS WITH SOUL. I've watched this video at least 30 times over the past 5 yrs.
The trombone part is supposed to be the part that _nobody_ gets right, but this sounded perfect to me.
