Also loved everyone wearing their own clothes, own personalities. When the guy in the wheelchair came out I burst into tears, because I have a Child with special needs. I have a vision for him. This reminds me of the drum circles that would gather in Golden Gate Park and go for hours. At times there must have been 200+ people playing all types of drums and assorted instruments! They were an awesome site to see and hear and dance to on one of the gorgeous fogless days that can happen in that beautiful city... well at least at that time. It was in the later 1990s and I had a grand time!!
Much respect to all the large drum players. The large drums are a pain in the ass to deal with because of their size. But they're the most important sound. The sound you can hear from far away. The sound that makes you want to dance. God bless all the large drum players.
