Enjoyed watching the desert section. I'm starting on March 15th, 2023, so I was particularly interested in the conditions you experienced. I thru-hiked the AT in 2021 - the PCT and AT are so different.
So exciting! Best wishes for MANAGEABLE conditions as you head into the Sierras. Maybe you miss Oregon as you are feeling that pull North? Maybe the mountain ranges also have a magnet.

I’m feeling the heck out of the pull north. I want to come home, but these mountains aren’t planning to make it that easy.
Snow is very low this year. You’ll be able to charge on.
