Look like great exercises which I shall be doing. I’ve been sent exercises by Physiotherapists to do at home but its nice to actually see someone doing them and to do with. I attend Pilates class once a week and always feel better afterwards although can’t do the exercises that involve getting on my knees as way to painful so the lunge exercises I’ll have to miss.
Thanks so much for these exercises,I e been doing the one for hips and have added in these as I have low pelvic back pain from 2 falls from my horse. This is my second go at these and I feel so good after them and move more freely. I appreciate keeping excercise going reduces pain and that is so true,I hope to get on and off my horse more easily now and without falling . My core strength has been really weak,so I know excercise will improve things for me.
Thank you for all your clear explanation. I have one query. I have seen your Knee excercises and I am following the same for my right Knee Pain. Now I got Right shoulder and back pain. So in this back/neck video can I follow all the excercises because these excercises will not affect the Knee right ?
The neck exercises were good but I can’t kneel due to bilat tkr’s. It would be good if you could tailor the exercises so people like me could benefit from them.
Hello, thanks for your message. Have a look at the exercises on this page: www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/exercising-with-arthritis/exercises-for-healthy-joints/exercises-for-the-back/.
Exercises on a chair should always have the feet on the floor, or it tilts the pelvis and engages leg and back muscles. Many of us with arthritis have knees affected so kneeling movements should be adapted and alternatives can be done on a chair.
Thank you Versus Arthritis your videos have got me moving which I know is key to helping me reduce my pain and be more mobile.
Nice, thorough, understandable and easy. Thank you!
Thank you jay and james it has helped so much.
Thank you very much for this info and excercise.
So timely! Back issues today so going to go and do these now!
