Sacroiliac (SI) joint pain can be awful. If that joint gets out of place you can feel it all day long down deep in the back of your hip/lower back area.
But did you know you can put it back in place fairly easily on your own? By contracting the right muscles the right way you can re-align your own pelvis and feel better immediately!
WHAT IS THE SI JOINT?
Your pelvis is made of three bones - you have two “iliums” on both sides and a “sacrum” in the back. Where place where these three bones come together is called your “sacroiliac” or “SI” joint (you have one on the left and one on the right).
We call it a “joint” because it’s an area where two bones come together, but actually it’s not supposed to move at all. When it does move or when those two bones are out of alignment, it can be very painful with pretty much every motion in your hips and lower back.
WHAT CAUSES SI JOINT PAIN?
So why does your SI joint get “out of place”? The most common causes that I treat in my clinic include pregnancy (and the postpartum period), slips and falls, accidents/injuries, and standing/sitting with poor posture.
HOW TO TREAT SI JOINT PAIN
The best way to treat SI joint pain includes realigning the joint (putting it “back in place”) and thens strengthening the muscles that surround the joint to stabilize it and “keep it in place”.
In this video I’ll show you a simple technique you can do at home to help realign your pelvis, put your SI joint back in place, and help decrease your pain immediately.
SI JOINT MOBILIZATION TECHNIQUE
PUSH AND PULL (LEFT)
PUSH AND PULL (RIGHT)
BALL SQUEEZES
BELT PRESSES

Ok, I’m not trying to be dramatic, but this video has literally changed my life. I’ve had severe lower back pain for over 5 years (I had 4 kids in those 5 years). My pregnancies were excruciating. I’m 7 months post partum with my 4th baby and out of desperation I started researching again. I’ve had x-rays, an MRI, and I’ve seen 4 physical therapists and 2 chiropractors and no one has been able to fix my pain. I watched this 5 days ago and I’ve had 5 days of almost 100% no pain. One morning the pain came back when I moved wrong and I did the exercises in this video 4 times throughout the day and did some stretching you showed in another video and the pain went away again by the afternoon. Thank you so so much for sharing these. You have literally changed my life. This week I was able to teach my 4 year old how to ride a bike which I would have never been able to do before because of how much pain I was in. It was literally affecting all of my ADLs and I was starting to get so discouraged with living in such bad pain all the time. This has been a miracle to me. I can’t emphasize the night and day difference enough and I will never be able to thank you enough.
I appreciate this comment so much! I am so glad it helped!
That's great!! Im going to try them . I wonder if my pain started during my pregnancies.
You are a lier.
Thank you share your an experience above this exercise.
I’m also suffering from 4 years I went also physiotherapy didn’t helped everyday I’m so pain😢. I will try this exercise
How long did it take to see results?
Yes, Yes...this worked! I've had intense lowerback pain for 30 days consecutively. I tried various youtube channels, but only got temporary relief. This method worked immediately...I felt the pop-release/relief for the first time, my wife heard it from across the room. Amazing.... thank you.
You're welcome!
Didn’t work for me!!!😢
Doctor sent me to P.T. for 6 weeks at the hospital, for my hip. It works.
Hi how did you get the joints to pop which exercise was it? I have SI joint pain just tried this exercise today for the first time.. looks really good
Dr tone please I have one question my duty is 9 hours still standing I have very swear lower back pain or whole body stangth pain please suggest me some exercise
I am not exaggerating when I say this, I have been suffering from chronic low back pain for a year or two now and these past three days have been the worse I can't even stand straight let alone walk normally. I was a zombie psyduck I swear. THIS JUST STRAIGHTEN MY BACK LIKE JUST RIGHT NOW AS I AM TYPING THIS. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!
I woke up this morning in such SI pain, I just cried in discouragement believing I would endure another day of pain, pain, and more pain.
Decided to look up SI pain videos and after viewing a few I came across this one. Well, let me tell you - the belt exercise felt amazing! No exaggeration, I could feel my hip muscles burn then slowly loosen up and everything in the SI joint area melted into blissful relaxation.
I was even able to put my pants on while standing up (I always have to sit to put them on because I can't lift my legs w/out pain across my back and into to my hips!!). I was able to walk barefoot in my house for the first time in years (I've been wearing slightly wedged shoes or slippers in the house for some stability). I have even been able to stand upright!!! I was walking with a forward tilt in my hips because I just couldn't straighten up for any length of time before my SI joint would fatigue and begin tilting forward again.
I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. I really feel hopeful for the first time in years, and looking forward to spring when I can walk my dog w/out cutting our outing short due to back/hip pain!!
Again, thank you so much for this ❤ I'm going to do these exercises every day.
OMG, seriously?! I threw my back out Monday morning, nearly impossible to sit, stand, walk, lay. Spent the last couple of days trying everything on TH-cam - no help. I have been using my office chair as a walker as I needed support to walk! Stumbled on your video about 30 mins ago and thought, "Well, let's try this one." I wasn't expecting much if anything. I was like, yeah, right, instant relief? All the TH-cam videos promised that! But since I am desperate for even a modicum of relief, I gave it a try. OMG, OMG, OMG, it worked!!!! Am I pain-free? Not completely, but I can walk without the chair, can walk upright, can sit down and get up, etc. WTH???? DUDE, YOU ROCK!!! I am nearly in tears, not from extreme pain as I have been since Monday morning, but tears of joy because I FINALLY found relief!! I am blown away!!! ❤❤❤
Absolutely made my day! Thank you!
LOVE THIS! INSPIRED! Going through EXACT SAME! Can’t wait to try now! Tks for your report! 🙏🏼
This video just saved me a fortune on physiotherapy. Give the guy anything you can afford, like and subscribe. It's the right thing to do
I appreciate your support so much! Thank you so much!
That golf club move is worth actual money! My SI pain was so bad I couldn't sit, stand, lay down in certain positions, or even fully load my right leg without lightning shooting into my SI joint.
A million times and then a million times over and over - thank you!
I could not walk straight because of my S.I. joint pain on my right side. I thought all these comments praising the video were bots, i didn't think you could relieve S.I. joint pain that easily (or relieve it at ALL for that matter). But i tried the exercises exactly like he said and i felt immediate relief (still some pain though), i repeated them a few hours later and got more relief. A day later i was able to work using heavy tools and carrying bags, with only a little pain. A day after that all the pain is gone. I can't believe it. I showed my wife this video and we did the exercises together because she's had this pain in the past.
Thank you so much!
Would you at times get like an electric shock from your hamstring to your lower back a few times?
Ive had that several times as well and i.m.s. and that's usually the only thing that fixes it...I did these exercises only ten minutes ago I got a huge crack and what feels like relief time will tell but as of now I can't replicate the sharp severe pain I would get everytime I stood up @@thelifeoflaziahball2189
YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!!! I love you doctor!
In an instant I feel a significant back relief!!!!!!!! Long live to you doctor!!! 😭😭😭
I am so happy to hear this!
Im 60. Since I was 25, post childbirth, I've had SI joint issues. Its worsened as I've aged and despite lots of manipulation and advice it's never recovered and always slipped out shortly after treatment. There have been so many times Ive been barely able to walk and in such extreme pain.❤
Today, trying your exercises I felt it begin to move. I dont think its completely realigned yet but youve given me great hope. Thank you for caring enough to help people free of charge. Im beyond grateful ❤
You are welcome! I hope you continue to feel better!

Has is really been this simple all along??? I've been suffering with this pain on my right side for SEVEN years!!! It comes and goes but when it comes, it's so debilitating. Can't sit, can't stand, can't do anything. Chiropractic Care has helped but never eliminated the pain. I've done ice, stretching, working out. So I just ran across this video, thinking, surely not. OMG pain level went way down in just a few minutes after this. I will make sure to do this daily
My personal trainer showed me the dowel and adductor exercise. It really works. What a blessing to have this information available.
Thanks for sharing!
So I’m 24 and I’ve had SI joint pain for 3 years. I feel like PT made my pain worse after spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars. This video helped me tremendously. I use a foam roller in place of a ball, a swiffer floor cleaner in place of the club, and an old work belt with loops all the way around in place of the PT belt. All works the same. I have pain relief today, and I’m excited to see if can possibly cure my pain with these exercises. Many thanks!
i cant believe that after all the videos i watched, after all the therapies i had to do and after all the painkillers i had to take, my pain finally is settled down a bit since i do this exercises. a real hero of chiropractics!
I am so glad you are feeling better and thanks for sharing!
This has been fantastic! I couldn't identify what was causing the pain and went through different exercises (for lower back pain), going to a chiropractor, buying a new mattress, walking a lot and finally muscle relaxers -- nothing fixed the issue I was having. As soon as I did these exercises, I had immediately relief for a problem that had been on-going for 3 months -- I had just spent the morning on the phone with my insurance company, doctor's office and doctor's company trying to expedite the referral to physical therapy. I'm doing the follow up exercises each day to prevent the pain from occurring again. I greatly appreciate this!
I found you this week because I've been experiencing some patellofemoral pain and I've been doing your knee rehab videos, however today I was feeling some pain around my pelvis and saw you posted this, I did 3 rounds of this and the pain automatically went away. I'm blown away, appreciate it
Amazing news!

Thank you for your videos …
You nail it! Every time!
Is there a chance you can make a video of both C curve pain caused a SI lower right back pain after pushing a heavy objet.
Thank you again
I’m seventy four years of age and am experiencing my first ever issues with lower back. Ordinarily I’d be riding my bike eighteen to twenty miles every three days with one break but, shoulder surgery has changed all that. The pain started in what I thought was my right hip socket but, made it’s way into the lower area of the spine with real pain walking. I’ve been researching exercises and will try these. Thank you for the help. I hope this along with others will see me thru this issue.
Better now?
Holy smokes. I totally felt ridiculous doing this on the floor knowing I was being scammed but I was at the point where I’d try anything. It freakin worked!!! Incredible and THANK YOU so much!
Glad I could help!
I’ve been doing PT for patellafemoral pain syndrome and developed SI joint pain again (happens on and off since since my pregnancies). The PT didn’t really seem to know how to help. This video was so helpful the pain was reduced by 90% right away! It had gotten so painful that I’ve had trouble sleeping and climbing stairs. I’m going to start your strengthening video, too. Thank you so much!!
Are you KIDDING ME?? I have had pain for months, just annoying enough to sideline me from being as active as I normally am. I ran across this video last night. I tried it this morning, and then again this evening and my pain is almost completely GONE! What kind of magic is this? Wow, thank you for posting. I will be doing all the strengthening exercises in the other video now.
Wow, amazing news! I am so glad this helped and thank you for sharing!
Very very effective-thanks doc just tried these was in pretty severe pain a few minutes ago and feel almost no discomfort now. Plus did my bit to get you to the 2M subscribers soon!
I appreciate your comment so much!
I so super appreciate the explanation on the si joint in the beginning. My bone and joint doctor said that if all was said and done and I still wasn't getting si joint relief (we've been working on it for a few years) that I could get surgery to have them fused and I was aghast, thinking that sounds awful, why would anyone want a joint fused? She never explained that that's how they're supposed to be! That they weren't supposed to move, that the movement and being out of alignment is what the issue is. I'm so glad to FINALLY UNDERSTAND what's going on!
Wow! I just did these exercises and got immediate relief. That's after dealing with significant (sometimes debilitating) pain for 18 months. Nothing else worked. Can't thank you enough!
Wonderful news!
Is the pain still gone ?
@@goldilockz6517 It is, essentially, but you have to maintain the muscles. Doing these exercises every other day seems to work. It's a small price to pay.
@@WardInstruments this helped me too! I've been doing PT for my back bc i though that's what was causing the issue but it didn't help at all. doing these exercises provided so much relief with sitting!
@@toneandtighten what if one has same side groin pain as well? L groin, L SI? Ty!!
I could hardly walk, stand, or sit today without excruciating pain and while fighting my way through these exercises I felt my sacrum move back into place. Instant relief! Thank you so much! 👍
Wonderful!
Been struggling with lower left back pain for over a year. It came out of nowhere. All the stretches and treatment i been getting for it hasn’t helped much. Then, I tried these self-mobilizations for a few rounds and I already feel so much better. Gonna try the strengthening exercises next. So grateful for this video. Thanks so much
How you going man? I ve been throu exactly the same for 2 years!
@@poppiiiii how are you bro?
I’ve had back pain for five years, ever since a series gym injury. After doing these exercises for five minutes, it’s all gone! I feel incredible.
I thought my pain was muscular or disk-related, so I went to therapy to fix it, but that changed very little. They thought it as all muscular and that I just need to strengthen my lower back.
The pain would subside for a while, but I was always one movement away from my back going out again.
After doing more research, I noticed that SI Joint pain was matching all of my symptoms. After a few minutes of searching, I found this video.
What a game changer! Thank you so much!
It totally worked. You had impeccable timing as well. You released this just when I needed it. Been in pain for several days and this gave me relief. Thank you so much.
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much, my back went out just before Christmas eve. Now 2 days after Christmas, have had very little sleep and nothing but extreme pain..... can't believe this worked but it did and I am ever so grateful
Helped my left SI joint pain so much! I was in terrible pain all night and have been for years. Now if I could just relieve the pain in my left buttock, left sided rib, back and abdominal pain and the tightness in my left thigh/upper leg I’d be great!!
I have been in pain for almost a month and half. Been to a chiropractor, been loading up on ibuprofen, even had a MRI scheduled. Came across this video and decided to give it a try and wow! I doubted this video at first but I was hurting so badly that I was going to try anything! This was incredible!! Thank you Doc!
I had a snowboarding accident last year and my pelvis has felt misaligned since. This video helped way more than any of the physicians I saw. Thank you.
You bet!
It works like magic....5 months no relief and suddenly i felt good after just 2-3 session of this exercise.....thanks mate
Great to hear and thanks for sharing!
I have suffered with SI Joint Dysfunction for years! Thankful for a mobilization technique and strengthening regiment! Thank you for this video!
Happy to help!
I must say these exercises did miracle. I have been suffereing for this lower sacro pain for last 2 months. Been to physio no change. I did this excersise and immidiately pain gone. Never experienced something like this. God Bless you. 🙏😊
Thanks for sharing!
Really works. Last yr, started doing it 2x/week, plus other stretches, walks. My gym was closed for COVID. I could feel theadjustment as I walked, over time! Since 1990s, had intense pain on my thigh sides, lost range of motion, & sometimes use of my legs they'd give out on me or the pain was so much I had to sit down to take a break even on a hike path! Really bad in 2005. Went to 8-9 diff Drs & specialist in LA who took Xrays, etc. None could figure it out! No one really understood or even believed me. SO frustrating. Thanks for YT!
So glad this helped!
@toneandtighten The pain you are describing sounds like bursitis in your hip. I have the same. PT doesn't help much, but a steroid injection completely took the pain away. It's all about inflammation.
PS The injection did not hurt because I went to the Orthopedic office of a Dr who specializes in hips. His PA did it and was great!
Yes, this worked! I highly recommended everybody with this pain. Try it. I am subscribing to this channel. Thank you!
Thank you for your support! Welcome aboard!
I can't believe it... it actually worked... After doing this, no more pain while sitting or getting up and standing... 😱😍😍😭

I had fallen in my shop and mentioned it during my osteopath appointment, she checked and told me that I had fallen badly, way worse than I thought. That paired with the fact that I stand all day in my shop... my butt felt really spicy and my lower back got really stiff.
I was relieved that it's easy exercises that I already know. I had to pair them with lower back stretches to get that sweet sweet relief.
Thank you as always ❤
Had a sore back for a few weeks now. Thought I had a herniated disc so I looked up video after video to try and see if it was a herniated disc. Thank god your video popped up. I’ve been dying in pain for the last two days after messing up my SI joint. My quads have been awful since I had a baby two years ago. I did this exercise in desperation and this is the first time I’ve been able to get up off the floor without cursing in 48 hours. You’re the real deal! Thank you!
I appreciate your kind words and support!

Thank you so much! I've had nagging lower back pain for years, and no amount of exercise, weights or massage could fix it... these exercises did! Like magic, a nagging pain that has been with me from morning to night every day for years is instantly gone! You are awesome!
I fell on 06/27… been in agony. Literally instant relief as soon as I did the golf club step (used a broom). Did them all. Thank you so much. Still sore but the sharp shooting pain that felt like it radiated all the way through was gone immediately
You are welcome! I am so glad that was helpful.
I was completely shocked that these exercises immediately took away my pain. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor every 3 months for many years to address pain in my SI joint that is the result of several surgeries I had as a kid. My chiropractor is awesome, but today I was experiencing pain and thought “there’s gotta be something I can try without scheduling an appointment”. I came across this video and tried it. I literally got onto the floor in pain, and got off the floor pain free. Amazing!
Went to chiro after two months unable to sit stand walk or sleep. He popped that joint loose and then I used these exercises daily to keep it going. One chiro visit only as mine was stuck and causing unbearable pain. Need to keep exercises going though as some pain did come back when I slacked off. This is a life saver.
I have been having some pain in my SI joint and buttock, probably from sitting since I work from home. Found this video, and it provided immediate relief; while doing the squeeze with my pillow, there was an audible “pop” and I felt immediate relief. Thank you! Will keep these exercises in mind for future use.

I had a severe pain from my sciatica and your video really helped me. The pain is there but not as severe with just one of your exercises. I will repeat it throughout the day. Thank you so much. I am viewing your other videos too.

Wow! I tried this and it gave some substantial relief right away. I'm going to keep this up in the evenings and mornings over the next week. Thanks for posting this video it was really helpful.
Wonderful! You are so welcome!
My PT has tried all of these exercises on my SI joint injury to no avail. Problem is, if the pain is due to trauma, aka slip and fall, there is a high likelihood of other nerve and soft tissue damage. Additionally, the pain could be from the hip joint or the L & S vertebrae or any combination of nerve, soft tissue and bone. To diagnose your injury requires at least an X-ray, MRI (and CAT Scan) and nerve block testing. Sophisticated testing is needed for complex injuries involving more than the SI Joint. Point is, my trusty PT is trained to rehabilitate medical conditions that have been diagnosed and perhaps corrected by a surgeon. Then, a doctor refers the patient to the PT for two to three weeks of rehabilitation. In other words, if you have a pedestrian type of injury that is nagging at you, but is not compromising your quality of life, then a PT might have the tools to 0:09 improve your outlook.
Both of my si joints have been hurting so bad when I try and stand up I make an audible groan and have to hold on to something to get out of a chair.
This has been a life changer for me.
Worked the very first time I did it.
Didn’t work for me!!😢😢😢
Wow! I have been dealing with this pain and going to the chiropractor for almost a week. I did one round of these and the remaining pain I had went away! Amazing!! Thank you for all that you do!❤

The first exercise brought immediate relief. Thank you! I've seen a PT before, and they gave me some strengthening exercises, but this is the most helpful. You have a fan.
You're so welcome!
Holy moly!! IT WORKED! I had a chiro adjustment yesterday, but it caused my SI joint to get tweaked. I’ve tried all sorts of crazy stretches today to get some relief but nothing was working. This was the first video that came up on YT, and I was pretty skeptical. But wow. This was magic. Totally did the trick!!! Thank you so much. 🙏
You are welcome! I am so happy to hear this was helpful for you.
I don’t understand what’s happening but my pain has gone from 10-1. Thank you infinity. I was awake at 3AM due to pain that has been going on since November 2022. I saw your video and thought I’ve got nothing to loose…thanks again 🤩
Wonderful! You are so welcome!
Watched this once. Did it while watching the video and my pain went from 8 to 2.
Got the same results from your video on sciatica flossing. You're a gem. Thank you!
Thank you Dr. Jared. This worked (as described) immediately and successfully reduced the extreme pain I had just previously had for the past 2 days. As a result, I feel free to continue with this type of exercise over the next few days knowing it's already helped. Thank you.

Great exercises which immediately provided relief following a week of constant pain post skiiing. Would certainly recommend.
This video is a game changer! I’ve had lower back and hip pain for 11 years and none of the exercises I was given to do helped at all. A couple of minutes following this video and the relief was instant! 😮 Now to follow up with the strengthening exercises. Thank you for changing my life. There are literally so many things I’ve missed out on doing because of the pain in my lower back. Now I understand what the problem is and I know how to realign things and will work at strengthening the area to keep things in place.
I am so glad you found this helpful and thanks for sharing!
I've been a lifeguard for 20 years at the same pool and spend hours to no end standing on that wet, slippery and uneven deck, at my tender age if 57😂, I've been having issues with my back and knees, i just injured both of them and looks like my body started crumbling down and I'm off work for two weeks.
Since this video showed up, i believe it was meant to be so, as soon as Ibuprofen kicks in, I will do this exercises because im desperate for some relief.
I really appreciate you taking the time to explain in a clear way and go through the moves, making sure we understand.
I will report back to you guys.
Thanks, and btw, you just got a new suscriber! 😊❤
Almost immediate relief, Doctor! Thank you!
Happy to help!
This video saved my life. I’m 31 and Sunday, my left lower back exploded and my knees buckled. Haven’t been able to walk and been in most pain of my life. Dr said X-ray showed my left pelvis skipped out of Si joint. Found this video and did the broom handle stretch and my entire body cracked. First time I’ve been able to take a deep breath in four days.
I am so glad you are feeling better!
I can't believe how quick your exercises gave me relief! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Wow! No way! This video made me feel so much better. I had a four hour road-trip this weekend and noticed my left leg was a little numb after all that sitting. It was achy on Saturday almost like a burning, restless sensation. Turned around Sunday and drove the four hours back home. Started feeling my SI joints ache. I am super active and not one to sit but I think I over did it yesterday. I went from sitting most of this weekend to barely sitting Monday. Woke up this morning and my si joints were killing me. Thanks for taking the time to show us these stretches. I instantly felt better. Going to make sure I do this often throughout the day!! 🥹
I am so happy to hear you are feeling better and thanks for sharing!
Hi! Good simple clear demo thanks.
Definitely did feel somewhat of relief, I think from muscle activation.
My experience was the right hip which is my dodgy side was almost unable to push down against the stick, I was trying But It just didn't go far, some times I have to help it into the car so the opposite, it's like it just isn't can't, a little pain but not huge and just kinda locked low. This is only when the pain is not in my back but in hip/hamy
I intend to do this regularly and see how it plays out, as that nagging pain is relieved atm. The pain itself transfers from lower back into hip or even what feels like the top insert for the hamstring but never all at same time, yesterday was hamy, today hip, has been back for a few weeks.
🤞🤞 it loosens and goes back to place.
If you have any thoughts on why the pain is rotating - back, hip, hamy insertion, hip, back I'd love to hear them as I can't figure it out. I also can't sit long and have to stay mobile. Really hopeful your advice works as my dogs don't get the best me they deserve atm.! Thanks and will check out your other videos.
Oh my God you were not kidding when you said it was immediate... I have been in pain for so long that i am just so thankful with you thank you wow i can move now. Thank you!!!!!
So good to hear! You are welcome!
You can fast forward to 3:06
Tnx
IT WORKSS.... I AM IN PAIN from the past 7 days and tried this, felt relief a bit, will try doing daily, thank youou
Wonderful news and thanks for sharing!
Honestly it is one of the best channel out there
Thank You. My pain is gone. I will keep doing these. I was really suprised how fast this worked.
( I Hurt myself approx 18 years ago doing a deadlift type of motion, it never felt like it healed right. My daily pain was 6/10, then every now and then I would throw my back out again, then my pain would be 9/10 for up to 2 month before it started to subside back to a 6/10 chronic daily pain. I noticed the pain starting to go away after the 2nd day of doing the techniques with the resistance band. I dont know if my experience will be in any way similar to anyone else's but I will say I am very grateful and will continue to do these techniques)
I have had issues with my SI since childbirth 19 years ago. Fortunately I have had it under control for the most part. I have had nerve irritation 3 times in those 19 years. I do go to Physical Therapy which helped alleviate it the last two times but not this time. It has been 4 months. Fortunately no pain until I have it has been messed with. Even got an SI injection which made is worse. I am going to try these exercises to see if it helps. Have you seen this in your clinic? Thanks
I'm going on month 4 myself of severe unilateral left side si joint pain.Standing hurts, but walking really hurts.I limp around the construction site doing best I can with it.Nothing helps.Tried PT,chiro,heat/ice,Alieve and this video.Nothing works it seems.Have you had any luck?
Oh my goodness I could have written this word for word. I have had issues since childbirth 20 years ago. it has flared up 4 times for me. PT has always corrected it until last time. I too got an SI injection and it made it worse too. Did these exercises help?
Been fighting some mild on and off pain for last few years and it got worse in the last two months. Did this and it immediately helped. This dude is my hero.
So happy to help!
I will try today. Seems really good and may help me.
Thanks
I hope you find it helpful!
What was your result?
Oh my gosh … this is awesome! I had my first relief from pain in over two years. And noticed it as soon as I stood up! THANK YOU!
You're so welcome!
Hi Dr. Jared, are there specific signs for SI joint Disfunction as compared to a herniated disc?
I herniated a disc years ago and seem to have aggravated it again. Wasn't sure if I should try these exercises if I have sciatic pain and glute pain
This man is the truth!!!! I been in pain since the week before New Year’s Eve 2023. It’s 2024 and today my hips look even I the mirror and the pain finally is gone. 1 week ago I started doing his 3 exercises everyday. I use the stick method first, I did the ball with a basketball, then I used a belt. I forgot about the bridge s as I fought the video again. After the 3 exercises I did a side leg raise with heels pointing towards the sky keeping the motion backwards as I raised, then some type of yoga stretch on my stomach like a half push up trying to keep my pelvis on the ground, then 10 deep wide body squats, followed with a deep stretch at the bottom of my tenth squat with a 10 count. Whew!!! That sounds like a lot but the hold thing took less than 5 minutes. He really know his stuff. I knew it when I first did the stick exercise and my wife literally heard my hip snap, I’m guessing back in place. I said oh yeah!!! Thx a lot!
I appreciate your comment!
Thanks so much Dr. Jared, these really do provide quick relief! I've had SI Joint issues off and on since I was in a car accident about 20 years ago. Should these muscle energy techniques only be used when pain is present, I mean can using them too often have the opposite effect? Or can they be used as "maintenance' even without SI Joint pain?
Just started getting sacral area pain recently. Felt like a nerve was getting pinched and bones were grinding. I think it was due to breaking my foot about 3 months ago. Was in a boot for a solid 2 months. This definitely helped decrease my pain! Will continue doing it!
Thank you so much! I'm just wondering though: 1. how exactly do I differentiate this with other lower back pains? 2. Is it necessary to do all these exercises in order (i.e. is it ok to skip 1 or do just 1 exercise, for people that have difficulty with some of the exercises)?
It just instantly released my pain....thanks a ton doc
IMMEDIATE RELIEF! - Yes. Dr. Jared's all caps title is appropriate. I got immediate relief from chronic sacroiliac pain following his clear guidance. Wow! I also suddenly can feel my legs and feet much better. As many others have said, lots visits to and of treatments by other PT & Chiro doctors didn't do it for me. Life is suddenly better. If this sounds over-the-top, that's appropriate. That's how I feel.
Amazing to hear!
My SI acted up for the first time ever in the last 24 hours. Was pretty painful. Two sets of reps of his recommended exercises and I am almost magically feeling better. Thank you.
Thank you so much for making this video. I had a steroid injection and PT for weeks and nothing worked. Wish I had found this sooner as I have been in pain for 8 months! So grateful for your help!
My pleasure!
UNBELIEVABLE!!! My SI has been sore for weeks. Taken medication and Oesto appointments helped. But this exercise changed it. I feel such relief. Thank you😊
Did this last night when all up my side and even across over to my right blow back. I can now walk without limping and roll over in bed. Pain is night and day difference. I stick have a bit of stickiness and pain with my left foot when I point my toe up when walking . Thank you sir. You also were recommended by a friend of a friend that is a PT.
I am so happy to hear this has helped! Thank you so much for sharing.
I am speechless. After too many years to mention of suffering from SI pain following a fall from a horse and childbirth, I found this video and thought, why not give it a try - even if the result is not as dramatic as the previous comments suggest. But wow! The pain has vastly reduced and I’ve only done the stretches once. I look forward to seeing what happens after a week or so of stretches combined with the suggested exercises.
What wonderful news!
I have suffered for lower back pain for three months hope to improve after watching this video 🙏🙏 thank you so much
I really hope this helps you to feel better, owomugisha sarah! If it's not your SI joint that is painful I also have a number of great videos to help alleviate lower back pain. Good luck!
You are the GREATEST.
Tried all kinds of stretches for months, did not work.
Finally came across your video.
The golf club technique works wonders ( but I used a walking stick instead)
90% relief instantly!
Will continue 2 to 3 times a day.
Thank you so much.
You are welcome and thank you!
I was in so much pain I couldn’t eat and could barely get in the positions much less walk, but did them. Went to sleep and woke up, I’m nearly back to normal and here to do them again. Also, thank you so much for doing it in real time! I love doing it “together “ lol Now I’m well enough to do the exercise video after!
