Fenugreek paste penetrates and smooths my low porosity, 3B hair. Not the paste. Lol. I only used the tea after it got stuck in my hair and attracted fruit flies. It took me forever to pick that sharp stuff out of my strands, and I wear my hair short.
Both are great! It’s a matter of personal preference really. I prefer whole seeds as I feel like they last longer in storage, they’re versatile, and honestly they’re just more fun to use. My biggest issue with powder is that it’s rarely fine enough to be able to just add some water and have a smooth paste immediately. What about oil farm?
When should someone do a Ayurvedic hair mask Vs a regular deep conditioner? I plan to do more Ayurvedic treatments like henna once a month or every other month. But I’m not sure how often to do the other mask
My advice would be to use straight henna mask atleast once every six or 8 weeks and not every month as it can be drying on the hair, I found that out the hard way
I have tried to use the stuff and I think I can’t use it & I think I can’t use Amla either
Yes my beautiful sister 😍 ❤ thanks
Thats the reason my hair was still falling after using the paste
I understand now .....from now on i will use in a little quantity
Hello, soo is it better now ?
Use the pace of the soak seeds and applied to your scalp only and wash it
Wow, thanks for sharing this. I had no idea it coated the hair like this
Glad I could help!
Super helpful
does the paste rinse out easily, does it get stuck in strands?
If your paste is strained and smooth it rinses out more easily than if it were still grainy. Never apply paste to your hair if it is not smooth!
Thank you so much for explaining! Your cat is beautiful
Thank you! 😊
This was very insightful. Thanks so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Thats why i only use 2 tbsp of fenugreek, 1 tbs nigella seeds, some pumpkin seed oil and a couple drops of rosemary essential oil iny my hair mask.
I love how the main topic started at very first second I clicked the video
What about the smell?
Fenugreek is the most famous thing in my country. People eat it, drink it as a tea, and even use it as a mask for their skin and hair, but they all SMELL like fenugreek for days after... I can't handle it at all. So what guys do to cover that smell?
some fengreek tend to have stronger smell and some light smell so try to go for the light smell one ,,i find that sweating (workout in warm temp.) and drinking lots of water , lemon ,strwberry juice or ginger and mint tea help to remove the smell from the skin faster and using a good body wash . however useing it during the weekend will be the safest option.
Good & helpful video
Nice video.
Are you not supposed to deep condition after using it as a mask because it is a treatment right?
You are right, there’s no need to deep condition afterwards.
Hi im new to channel and really enjoying your content
My hair is already super dry, coarse and stiff. 😅 funny how the treatment can sometimes become the problem.
I feel that using a little bit of any aryuvedic herbs is best. Henna and amla are my herbs of choice. I mix them with my moisturizing deep conditioners. Game changer.
Exactly, if these herbs really are as powerful as they’re known to be, then people need to treat them as such.
How do you use henna and Amla in your condition?
@@MulengaMalema I make Henna and Amla gloss bars. You can find lots of recipes on TH-cam. I melt the bar and mix it with any moisturizing deep conditioner that I have on hand. Then I apply it to shampooed hair. Leave it on for an hour then rinse and use a rinse out conditioner to make sure all of the powders are rinsed away. Then style as usual. I hope this helps.

One way is to simply take a spoonful of each powder and stir them into a few scoops of conditioner.
Another way is to hydrate the powders with warm water to a thick consistency and then add it ti the conditioner conditioner.
My personal favorite, is to make a tea from the powders and add some to the deep conditioner and use a couple drops of preservative if I’ve made a big batch. I like using this on protective styles to avoid that leftover powdery residue.
@@denyshadials5702 how much time do you keep it in your hair since conditioners are not supposed to be kept for long in hair.... moreover do you use it on scalp as well since again conditioners aren't for scalpp so m a bit confused
You can actually use fenugreek mask x2 a week. You just have to know how to do it properly.
It's about balance than you your hair looks. So healthy and beautiful
Thank you sharing this information.
Appreciation and Gratitude.
I'm experienced moisture 1 time and then severe dryness another time 🤷🏾♀️. I'm choosing to use it a mist now - can't go wrong with that.
thank you :) i will be incorporating Fenugreek into my hair regime
Fenugreek seed paste just leaves a coating on hair and skin which leaves a smooth feeling
That smooth feeling should not be so quick
What mic are you using?
I just added my gear, including microphone, into the description box :)
The best way to use fenugreek without leaving it in, is straining it using a cheesecloth or pantyhose.
Yes, straining it helps tremendously!
Your hair is beautiful.
Not the paste. Lol. I only used the tea after it got stuck in my hair and attracted fruit flies. It took me forever to pick that sharp stuff out of my strands, and I wear my hair short.
Your hair is so beautiful
Blimey she is pretty
Gteat stuff. Thank you for the video. A new subbie here You are so lovely btw😊
Which one is better, fenugreek seeds or the powder?
Both are great! It’s a matter of personal preference really. I prefer whole seeds as I feel like they last longer in storage, they’re versatile, and honestly they’re just more fun to use.
My biggest issue with powder is that it’s rarely fine enough to be able to just add some water and have a smooth paste immediately. And so you still need to go through a similar process making fenugreek paste as you would with whole seeds (recipe for this is in the description box). You may get a more potent fenugreek tea using the powder (though I have not tried this).
