I am 4c high porosity, my hair loves fenugreek.
You don’t really need that much as you can see it expands 5 times over. I put mine in a blender making it baby smooth then strain it even when it’s triple sifted. Fenugreek can be finicky sometimes leaving annoying bits in the hair.
My hair also loves Fenugreek. I made a oil with alvacado, olive oil, rosemary, and peppermint essential oil. With my seeds just resting on the bottom. It's a simple version of curly proverbs elixir. This oil has my hair feeling so soft.

I have never used Fenugreek as the main ingredient for a mask. I do want to try this mask. I have loved adding Fenugreek to other masks that I have made before.
It doesn't give that much moisture, but it's great on growth! Tried it only few times and I could see a difference, plus a hair supplement that I have.
I’ve only used my DIY spray so far. My hair feels so soft. I’m doing this mask soon. Can’t wait! My hair is 4A

I started my hair growth journey exactly one year ago today. And after creating a habit of washing and dc my hair weekly ( and watching THOUSANDS OF YTvideos) I have begun my Amla/Fenugreek journey. My hair as grown some but I am excited to see what these two ayurveda products do.

I have fine strands and low porous hair
Fenugreek is okay once or twice a week with leave in and or butter.
Otherwise it's solo strong my hair breaks off, even with the hair teas.
Everything except hibiscus and rosemary how every water and aloe vera and butter is best on my hair type
I just got some fenugreek. My hair is stiff and dry and very thin. I hope this will help. Two years ago my hair started falling out due to health issues I hope this helps with moisture and growth.

I’m low porosity and I love fenugreek. I use it once a week in my deep conditioning with other herbs or alone. It’s a great herb.
My low porosity 4c hair loves it. I usually buff it up with avocado or banana.

I really like fenugreek, its saved me years ago when I lost my hair due to depression. But I can't stand the smell. I stopped using fenugreek but I still kept the smell for almost 1 year after.
Is there any solution to hide or get rid of the smell please ?

Technically yes, but the Fenugreek is not a cleansing herb. If you want to make this mask more cleansing, you can add Cassia to the mask.

I grinded my own funugreek and the smell is awful. I'm scared to put it in my hair as a mask because the smell might stay in my hair. Any tips ?
I make fenugreek tea basically. I add a tablespoon or 2 fenugreek seeds and warm water and let it sit overnight. I strain it put it in a spray bottle and add some other ingredients and use it for hair spritz. I get my fenugreek from an international supermarket that sells Indian, Hispanic and Asian products it’s a lot cheaper. I’ve never had a problem with the smell.
