I can attest that fenugreek has been doing amazing as a hair strengthening and growth product for me. I make a mask out of it using aloe vera, ground fenugreek powder, and honey. I blend this and apply under a plastic cap that I tie down under a towel and leave on for 30 minutes to an hour. Then I rinse out and condition my hair. It stopped my hair breakage from the root, and softened my hair while elongating my curl pattern. My hair has been growing like crazy because it stopped all my breakage/shedding. Great video.

I use fenugreek powder, moringa powder, aloe Vera pulp from the leaf, red onion ,ginger I use a capful of water blend it then use as a mask. I can definitely feel the difference to my scalp. I went from having good strong shoulder length hair to being diagnosed with frontal fibrosing alopecia, my hair fell out in clumps, patches baldness . I cried. I then started using a combination of natural oils... washing my hair wth sulphate free products of a particular brand here in the UK. I came across your channel. absolutely brilliant. you have transformed the way I care for my hair I had a biopsy and I was told that there was no inflammation and that he could see 2 follicles growing rather than 1. YOUR THOUGHTS ON DRINKING FENUGREEK TEA AND FENUGREEK WATER PLEASE!
Hi, first of all, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I love watching your videos because you share the science of hair growth with us. So I have been using fenugreek for just over a month. I can not say that I have seen any difference in my hair but I believe that soon I will. I was surprised that you did not say anything about drinking fenugreek water. I actually drink fenugreek tea in the morning. Then I drink fenugreek water that I infuse from the seeds in the early evening and finally, I message my scalp with fenugreek oil three days a week. Wait back up, I said I have seen no change. That is not true. I have not seen any drastic hair growth but my hair is not as dry. It stays pretty moist until wash day. I comb out every night. Since starting the fenugreek oil, my hair is shiny everyday and very easy to comb out at night with a very minimum amount of shedding. I would love to hear your thoughts about consuming fenugreek orally.

I have very fine curly hair and started to get thinner after my thirties. (65 yrs old now) I made a fenugreek spray by just soaking them overnight and used it every morning. Soak 15 minutes. Rinse. In the first month I noticed my hair wasn't falling out like it was. In two months' time my hairdresser said she was speechless because she said it was thicker and she saw new hair growth. It hasn't been 3 months yet but I'm very excited with the results in this short period of time. I welcome any suggestions you may have. Loved all your chemistry info. By the way my background is Mexican and Caucasian if that helps with any suggestions. Thanks.

I use fenugreek after soaking the seeds overnight then add to a spray bottle with aloe Vera juice and use it throughout my wash day routine, as a leave-in, and as a moisturizer throughout the week. Not sure if it is overload or not, am nursing an crown thinning which I know is partly heredity and damage from the relaxers even some 4+ years later. The hair is coming back slowly however am more vigilant using it in the summer than any other time of the year. The new growth hair is a whole other texture and very different, sort of the same texture my dad had, quite weird, anyways I will be making me some oil and use it a little less as to not block the follicles and see what happens. Thank you for sharing on this herb, was going to ask you to give your thoughts about it, so appreciate it much!

As always very informative. I love fenugreek. Been using for 2 years now in my diy ayurverdic blend hair oil ( Thanks to Curly Proverbz she'struly the OG in Ayurverdic hair care). As with all proteins, it makes me nervous because I'm Low porosity and have yet to try in a mask. I will say this i never strain my oil. I just wait till its all gone, then blend the left overs ( i mix with a cocktail of ayurverdic herbs like amla, brahmi, shikakai aloe powder and others plus all the essential oils that we all use peppermint, rosemary, ginger, eculpytus).
Thank you for the chemist break down on why fenugreek is OG in ayurverdic herbs for hair growth. I hear drinking the tea also has major effects on the hair and skin.

I have wavy-to-curly mid-back length hair. I had a copper IUD a few years ago which wreaked havoc on my health and on my hair. I've been rehabilitating it with leave-in fenugreek water/gel, which I also DIY. I mix it with rosemary water and a splash of natural apple cider vinegar. It does not spoil if you use approx. 1 part ACV and 5 parts fenugreek water. I let the seeds soak for a few days (make sure there's some vinegar in the soak, so it doesn't sour) and once they're large and soft, I force the gel through a wire strainer and collect it to add to my infusion. I use (about one ounce poured onto my scalp, 2-3x per shower) it in place of shampoo and conditioner, and I also put it into a spray bottle and spray generously into my hair once damp, but still wet and clean. It's kind of labor intensive but my hair is so much nicer.
