    👏👏👏👏👏👏👏I made your fenugreek paste & added it to your henna treatment. AMAZING!!!! The slip, the moisture, the consistency, everything about the application was on point. The final results, super soft, well defined curls. My hair has never felt this soft after rinsing out henna. I would have to take a few added steps to achieve softness, but it never came close to the softness I achieved combining your fenugreek paste with henna. I am so so grateful that you shared. Thank you 🤗 I going to make the fenugreek & hibiscus tea to😊can’t wait to see what that does!!!

      @@VyalaBloom I’ve heard professional dermatologists say olive oil is a no go as it builds up dandruff more because the scalp loves oils so what would you say?

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve heard that as well. With most oils for that matter. I would say that if you struggle with dandruff to be careful with oils. Either avoid using them or, if you are using henna (which I recommend olive oil after henna treatments), to try to avoid the scalp when you moisturize, and/or to shampoo (with a dandruff shampoo) shortly afterwards.
      If you don’t struggle with dandruff it’s still good to be mindful and keep an eye on your scalp while using oils because it can always happen. And if you start to have signs of dandruff from olive oil, then reduce your use.

      @@VyalaBloom Is there any alternatives to olive oil. Make the paste not sticky and run smoothly also thank for replying.

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would avoid coconut oil because it hardens when cool, and castor oil because it’s very thick. but most other oils should work well! Almond oil or jojoba are the first two that come to mind that I would try, but the sky is the limit really!

    I'm 57 AA Woman for the past 5 months my hair has been shedding, and I'm losing a lot of hair. I've been watching different videos for help with the problem. I recently picked up Fenugreek seeds, but I'm going to roast them to powder form, so I can try your paste, I also purchase Amla powder, I'm praying this will stop the shredding and my hair will start growing. I'm going to take a before picture when I start today or tomorrow and hopefully in two months, I will see a change. thanks again for sharing. You have a new subscriber.

    I can’t wait to make this paste! Winter is ending and I will be leaving my protective braids and head wraps for my signature Spring/Summer wash-n-go style. I do a ‘water wash’ every 2 days using conditioner like a shampoo followed by leave-in and gels for styling. This paste is perfect to mix with conditioner and I think I’ll be able to use flax seed gel along with leave-in to give me the definition I need. Wow!!! I just subscribed and SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! Thank you for these awesome videos!!!!!!!! 🥰

      Hey Shirley! I have a video titled "Simple Hair Growth Treatment" that shows exactly how I dilute my fenugreek paste... highly recommend checking that out! I personally like to leave it in my hair, with regular applications throughout the week :)
      Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with chebe powder so I'm not sure how the two will interact... Just from the looks of it, fenugreek seems like it will help the chebe be less messy and more manageable, but I'm not sure on anything else it would do.. sorry about that

Is Henna Sooq's ground fine like your. I see where you said you get your herbs from HS. I get my henna but looking for a fine flour-like Fenugreek powder. If you are not at liberty, to name brand, can someone in the comments who have found flour like consistency, please drop the brand. Thank you.

      I got my 1st batch from Whole Foods too. It made a decent batch. But went online to Amazon and got a finer version. Brand: Carmel Organics.

      Starwest Botanicals Organic Fenugreek Powder on Amazon is really finely sifted. I’ve been using it for years to make a paste - sometimes I don’t even feel the need to blend at the end. ❤

    Hi beauty! Thank you for your videos I really love fenugreek for its benefits and you reconcile me with it! I want to give it another chance but I really have a problem with the smell!
    It's smells so strong and how much often I wash my scalp the smell remain! Have you got some tricks to deal with it maybe by combinate it with something else to atenuate the strong smell of it?
    Thanks again for your channel
    With love

    Hi Ann :) I have two questions;
    - how often should one apply the treatment to the hair?
    - is it ok for people with straight hair to apply it? Or is it only for curls?
    💓🌸

    • @VyalaBloom
      @VyalaBloom  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello Mexak! as a scalp treatment, I recommend applying this treatment anywhere from 2-4 times a week, for applying to your hair I would start off by applying this 1-2 times a week and see how your hair reacts to it!
      And anyone with curly, wavy, or pin straight hair can enjoy the benefits of fenugreek!
      Best of luck!

      @ssuperb 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you have it, probably optiphen, germall or some other broad spectrum antimicrobial. Otherwise, I would portion it out in an ice cube tray, freeze it and defrost per use. It should keep at least a year frozen.

    • @VyalaBloom

      Samara M has given great suggestions! I personally freeze my paste and defrost as needed. Although if you do decide to freeze this, make sure to defrost it quickly (either in warm water, a microwave, in a warm corner of the room, etc,.) to ensure the texture stays the same!

    You're so classy and calm. This is only the second video that I am watching and I have already subscribed to your channel. I am on my natural journey so my pic is wayyy outdated (I used to relax my hair religiously until I discovered my beautiful curl pattern)!
    Anyway, keep up the good work girl, I like how everything is DIY and you are not trying to sell your products for money like Curly Proverbz. I mean she is the OG but you are taking Ayurveda to the next level and making it accessible to everyone. And it doesn't seem like you are spending a boatload of money on your products (we are not all rich).
    I wish you would tell everyone WHERE we can find the right kind of henna, or WHERE we can find fenugreek or hibiscus flowers. If you could please TELL US which Indian stores you go to, or what websites you order off of, that would be really helpful. Not all of us can afford to order packs of henna and stuff.
    I usually just drop my local Indian or "Halal Indo-Pak" markets in town. Everything there is SUPER CHEAP. I remember buying fenugreek seeds for like less than a dollar.
    WARNING: These Indian people WILL give us "colored girls" the "side-eye" and ask weird invasive questions and I just ignore them. Just keeping it real, sis. But I appreciate your videos and I look forward to all that you will do!

    • @VyalaBloom

      Thank you so much Victoria, that really means a lot :)
      Unfortunately I don’t have any Indian stores near my location, but right now I’m getting most of my products online from Amazon, Etsy, Mountain Rose Herbs, and bulk apothecary (and I hope to later purchase from Henna Sooq as well).
      In my future videos I will definitely add information about where I get my products in the description box, and within a few weeks I will absolutely add that information to my previous videos as well (I’ve been MIA for a little while and it’s a little hard to get back into things, but soon enough I’ll have all of it up :) )
      Again, thank you so much for your kind words… It’s comments like this that really make me excited to keep moving forward. I hope you’re having a great start to 2020 and I’ll see you in my next video!

      @@VyalaBloom Sis, thank you for your prompt and very sweet response. I really appreciate that! Remember, take it one day at a time with your video production and don't get overwhelmed, because the world outside of the Internet is a much more beautiful place, and I don't want you to feel pressured to please THOUSANDS, even millions of people here lol. Take your time, you are doing GREAT! Ayurveda is amazing and doing personal research and experimenting is very rewarding! If it weren't for sistas like you... black girls would NEVER learn about Ayurvedic remedies at all because it is secretive within the Indian and Hindu communities. BUT NOTHING IS A SECRET ANYMORE WITH TH-cam!! LOL. Sending you MUCH LOVE and PEACE. Take care sweetie.
