That's crazy! I almost thought the mighty Ryan Lampers was going to go home without a bear. I should have known better though. What a cool show motion shot you caught on camera! I 100% agree on the fast from civilisation! My favorite hunt was my elk hunt last year and I didn't fill my tag, but being away from everything for two weeks straight was so extremely therapeutic! It's something I need to have a couple times a year just to stay straight!
I take the animal that feels right to me!.... Last year I was hunting with my Grandson,first time just him and myself. I took a one horned three point mule deer just because it was a first one horned buck for me and the first animal I took with him.Memories for both of us for our lifetimes! This coming year he will be old enough to hunt big game for the first time and he is way excited.
I am constantly amazed that you have so few “subs”. Your films are done so well that you should have a Million “Subs” for sure! Thank you for your dedication to excellence!
Wicked hunt! it's amazing to see the tenacity you put into your hunts, many other hunters would have given up and gone home. Hunts with kills on the final day tend to be my favorite. Lots of lows, immersion in nature, and then the finale that makes everything so incredible. It was good seeing a different side of you two where you worked so hard with little to work with.

The best part about these videos is how the adventure is captured and shared with us. I’m not watching somebody sit in a stand Whitetail hunting and just seeing the kill shot. What a grind of a hunt! You're right, we hunt for many reasons. But it's funny, I have said, "don't pass on the first day what you are willing to take on the last day". That being said, I do plan several of my hunts with friends where I can work for them if I harvest early.
Obviously I love everything about gritty videos but man do I especially love the "Did you know" little boxes. Please don't ever stop including those, in fact the more the merrier. So many cool things I learn from them. Never seen a huckleberry bush in my life as I live in Florida lol, but now I know alot more about them. Y'all rock!! Amazing quality as usual 🤘🤘🙏❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great video guys. I love your dedication. I had to chuckle when you guys were talking about never passing on the first day what you would be happy with on the last day. Mostly because with the areas and time I have it usually ends up being my motto that being said I can appreciate both views. I’ve been watching you guys for a couple years now. I really enjoy watching what you guys go through to hunt the animals you obviously love. If memory serves me correctly, I remember talking with Ryan a few times and seeing pics of deer he has taken. I worked at Sportsmans Warehouse in Vancouver Washington from 08’-13’ where he was delivery fishing bait for Ray’s Baits. It was always cool to see what you had been doing. I love that your honest about the details of backcountry hunts, like how grungy you were. Living on east coast my backcountry hunts are a lot warmer than when I head west. Scent is a big deal in eastern woods so a good “airplane” bath with some liquid scent killer body soap and combat wipes is worth the effort. I always have combat wipes in my pack 1,000 uses!!!

Love the new episodes. Started listening to gritty just last November. This type of hunting has great appeal and amazing ethics. We live in Idaho now. And this will be my daughter’s first hunting season. It really hit home with the episodes with Ryan and his daughter mule deer hunt. Loved Ryan talking about the bear bone, when we were kids we had a great friend take us hound hunting for bear and he would save the bone every time! He gave them to a bar owner and he capped them with gold or silver and used them for drink stirrers!
