IMO I can’t see any good argument for owning any kind of PC in your home today unless you need it for work. I can do everything on my phone or console also my console will sit on its shelf for the next five years and every time I turn it on I can play a new game from it without worry of needing to upgrade it or waste time researching compatibilities and graphic settings etc. Plug and play. Which is exactly why I enjoyed being a PC gamer in my younger years, I had more free time and money to burn. Now I just need something that’s gonna fire up and go for the few hours I have to game each week.

@IronWunga most PC games offer graphic settings for how variable PC specs can be. That first point is actually a plus for why PC is better, at least in the PC vs console debate. PC just offers more games as well if that's what you're using it for. Just as you can do everything a PC does on and console and phone, PC can do what mobile and console better, and do a lot more than that. Emulators are insane. I understand the plug and play thing, but it wouldn't be much of a problem if you use the computer often. I spend most of my day on PC, as I think TH-cam just sucks on mobile. Steam is a great place to get games, free and priced, indie and triple a.
@fin2008-t5y That just means YOU like PC games better, and that's just a matter of opinion. I, on the other hand like more platformery games than FPSs, but you can totally hold that POV, it's just that that isn't really something arguable, at least I think.

pc. theres nothing redeeming consoles except for maybe price. although, game prices on newer consoles tend to be insanely high
Yeah, it's so weird that Nintendo said the Switch 2 games are gonna be 70$, like, Mario can't be THAT good.
