This was a great film. Totally underrated
An under-rated movie, and one of Farrel's better performances.
Excellent movie with a great cast.
Collin Farrel can express more using only his eyes and eyebrows than many actors can with their entire face.
One of my old time favorites. Very touching, poignant and suspenseful. Great story and the acting is superb. I need to watch it again.

If you've watched it and can't quite figure it out, as in left that "there is something to this" feeling in you then you're not alone. The tl;dr is that its a giant allegory for purgatory. You can't leave, you can't escape, and you'll need atone for what you've done.
After he woke up from the coma, induced by the gunshot wounds, Ray realized he's Bullseye from another timeline. His business has since boomed.

2nd movie I've seen where Colin Farrell's character is shot, on his back and looking up at the sky in his dying moments.

Great movie, loved it!
It's very easy to make jokes about Belgium. But Brugge in Flamand isn't like Wallony. Flamond is a motivated, beautiful and successful state. Wallony is a miracle just because it continues to exist. The policies in the South make unemployment much more attractive and cheaper than working menial jobs. The result is a bored and often depressed culture with many living on antidepressants and alcohol. The climate doesn't help. Seasonal depression is real and drastic.
I love these Movie Recap's because an impassable film can become interesting with enough editing and good will!
