Barry is so underrated, perfect blend of action, drama and comedy.
It is amazing
I love the stopwatch bit in Equalizer. He's gameplanned these sequences in his mind down to predicting how many seconds it will take.
He has OCD. Look up what OCD is and then you will understand why he uses the watch, or hits the spoon on the glass, or spreads the napkin out, etc.

This is probably super wrong but likely he's just trying to prove he is devout. My theory is that he's so poor he covers the holes in his shirt with pages, but idk haha
It's most likely his way of wearing "sacred vestments" to symbolize that he views himself as a holy man delivering the word of the almighty. He doesn't have holy clothing like a traditional priest so he is making his clothes holy by covering them with pieces of scripture.

I didn’t have a clue, so Googled it. There’s no definitive answer, to be honest. This is one statement that made the most sense…..

You are thinking mechanical. In tomorrow's world its electronic. That's 10 minutes to reboot.
If you had seen that movie, you would also know that that “car” also has flight capability, which apparently was disabled during the initial attack so that’s not a normal vehicle
To be fair, if we’re talking about realism, a car going ‘offline’ is fairly small beer in this movie. 🤷🏻♂️

He was protected by Don Eladio. Think about Italian mobsters and how it is forbidden to kill a “made man.” Kinda the same deal with the cartels. Gus was a big earner for them and there was some background stuff about Gus’ origins that aligned him to the Cartel that is still somewhat unclear to me…
