Season 11 is an extremely important season. Unlike season 10 and arguably 9, it completely changes how people play the game. It’s also a lot more approachable for newer players, which is so important for the new PlayStation players. It changed voyages and made them worth it, and I finally enjoyed doing treasure map quests and bounty voyages again (merchants still suck though lol), so although I did notice the lack of newer features, I’m glad that older parts of the game are a lot more enjoyable now.
I think not being able to dive when nearby ships, or too close to islands, alongside losing all your loot if you dive works as a way to stop people doing it too often, as most players loot stack anyway, at least till they hit lv 5 emisary
What would be a cool idea is if your tucking on my ship and we catch you we should be able to brig you for a certain amount of time. Then after time ends you just transfer back to your ship
My problem with the game is that the best skins are available only for real money which leaves me with no reason to grind gold.
I’m new to the game and I love the guild mechanic bc I can instantly jump in and go straight to a good raid n get good embassy flag level it’s a great kickstart
I’ve only played a few days but so far I love it
I'm glad you're enjoying the game!
Excited for S12
Me too!
What they could do for the soveriegns thing is doing a similar thing to hunters call, offering a bonus for taking loot directly to the trading company representatives, Hunters Call give a 1.5X modifier on gold, and 0 modifier on reputation, i'd suggest a 1.4 or 1.3x gold modifer and a 1.1 or 1.2x reputation modifier to taking loot directly to the trading companies, as selling without sovreigns could take a good 5-15 minutes more depending on how much loot and which outpost you're at, even sanctuary takes a good 5 seconds longer for merchants, 15-20 seconds longer for GH and OOS, and taking the loot to the tavern for athenas takes a good 30 seconds longer, and thats PER piece of loot. So if you have 10 pieces of loot for each faction, even at sanctuary which imo is the easiest to sell at, is another 50 seconds for merchants, 150 seconds for OOS, 150 seconds for GH and 300 seconds for Athenas.
For a solo nearly 11 minutes longer to sell with a relatively small amount of loot, And god forbid if you end up trying to sell at dagger tooth
I do enjoy the New loot, feels nice to have a large amount of new loot, even if some are reskins. The Kings loot and the other new chests are fine by me.
I kinda disagree with the tucking been ruined. People just don't tuck at a ship that just logged in, it'll take a long time until they get some good stuff, so it's not worth wait that long.
I only tuck when I see some potential, like when the crew has a grade emissary, or they are doing some world event, and they can't dive until they turn all the loot. The only exception are the raid voyages, and then I agree with you.
But in general for me, almost nothing really changed.
Nice vid! You always bring good points of view for discussion.
Back in the day I use to tuck on new ships or ones just sitting at an outpost mainly just because I enjoyed tucking and was fine with waiting! Btw thanks for the compliment!
You know what would be cool is if a crew dived and you were tucked you would transfer with them and your ship would respawn on that sever In the same spot on the map as it was on the previous sever. Would be vary cool
If they could figure out a way to make it work I would love it
Well this was a fantastic season, they add nothing new, but was perfect like this.
You now have the possibilities to do 500 level instead of 75, what a hard work.
BeSt SeAsOn So FaR
Joke, but they must stop using season like this.
Agreed, it’s not really what the season format is meant to be
I am a big fan of the voyage reformat. I stopped playing because I work full time and cutting down on the travel time got me to hop in for quick sessions again.
I disagree with the tucking, though I will concede that it did get a form of nerf. About a day ago I literally tucked on a crew that came out from a dive to do a Gold Hoarder Ashen Lord in the distance. Waited for them to finish the event before crashing their ship and killing them.
Just wished that it had way more content though.
wait a sec. all your cons to season 11 is that it made scummy ways to win worse. bro how many times you go do a voyage and go to sell and a guy thats been sitting on your ship for 2 hours kills a steals your stuff. or that the sovereign gave solos a chance to sell their loot and not worry about a galleon pulling up and sinking you at an outpost while you get spawn camped cause they caught you off guard. season 11 has been nothing but a blessing to those that dont have the time to become a god at pvp
You mean being a pirate lol… if you don’t like pvp then play in safer seas
@AgentMurden oh no don't get me wrong pvp is fine when I can actually fight back with a chance to win. Instead of getting blundered from behind because a guy tucked when I spawned. Pvp is fine when the loot you got was won by skill. What's skillfull about hiding in a corner?
@@AgentMurden this is a bad take full stop. Safer seas is worthless
@@KayValdivia I’m only suggesting it because he seems to not be capable of true PvP… He wants the other player to I guess announce they are there like a samurai before attacking 😂
