      Get your hands on anyone or family members that would enjoy a facial. Practice, practice, practice and keep on learning. It’s about getting the experience and confidence though doing. Hopefully you’re doing it now.

      I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s bad for the skin on the face. Irritation..pigmented bumps..nicks..etc...and your skin will never be smooth!

      @@colleenreis2829 plus ingrown hairs... just more hurdles in life I don't need. I might shave/dermaplane my face once on ny weddingdsy or so because losing the peach hairs gives the illusion of extra smooth skin. Pretty nifty for the pictures lol

    Hello Nerida, thank you for your videos, they have helped me so much with my skin. I’ve been thinking about investing in an at-home diamond tip microdermabrasion machine to expedite exfoliation since I am in my late 50’s. Does this type of machine work well on medium toned African American skin if done lightly? I wanted to get your input before I invest....thank you!

      I don't do microderm. Not a lover of suction machines. BUT, am a huge fan of absorbing exfoliants:))

    Hi Nerida, I had a colleague etch some lines in my forehead with a microneedling device. My face was so numb, I couldn’t feel how hard she was pressing and I think she had it on a deeper setting than normal. Will I ever be able to rid myself of these indented lines? Or will they always be there? This happened in July 2019...

    Hi Nerida! I’ve been watching your videos lately trying to absorb all that you’re teaching us! I’m really loving it so thank you!!
    However, one question I have is, how do you maintain sunscreen application throughout the day? I wear a full face of makeup most days because of my workforce and personal preference so I’m not sure how I should be protecting my skin or reapplying throughout the day once my makeup is on.

      I apply a good amount in the morning..... my makeup spf50 IT brand presently. I also use the Colorsience spf50 "Even Up" and take my La Bella Donna spf50 powder (in a retractable brush) with me throughout my day in case its needed.

      Hannah Neyugn, Nerida holds workshops from time to time on skin analysis. Another resource would be Pastiche Training. They are online courses, and there are loads of them. They aren’t cheap, but they are loaded with amazing information, and they have a class specifically on skin analysis, as well as books you can purchase to go with your courses.

    How many layers can you do more about that like q flavonoids is quite sticky would you use mire than one layerx

      My makeup is also my sunscreen...spf 50. It depends on your skin and how much you are outside. I am hardly outside at all, so my makeup/ sunblock is perfect:))

      You just have to follow up with them on asking how much of it they use... most people don’t apply enough. I would say if you want to use it, you need to apply generously, or you need a sunscreen to put under your makeup that you can apply generously before your makeup, where the makeup will still sit nicely on top of it.

    I know that maybe it isn't exactly about the facial skin but is there a product that you could recommend for improving the elasticity of the breast skin? I know that there are some products which are branded as bust creams but I am wondering if its just for the sake of marketing.

      It could be both legitimate or for marketing... it depends on the product. I know that Lira Clinical has a firming serum that is nice, and can be used on other areas aside from the face. Antioxidants like a vitamin C, or flavonoids, or peptides can be used in the area. Be careful of alpha hydroxy acids or really strong vitamin A used in that area, as it’s a thinner skinned area of the body.

      Margarita Carmen, rejuvi has a breast cream and serum i think that is supposed to work well too. I do not carry it nor have i ever used it, but i have been happy with many of their other products:))

      Is this for your personal home care? Are you an esthetician who wants to work with it professionally and wondering which to choose for your treatment room? If it’s personal, I would ask you first what your concerns are... I don’t want to recommend anything that’s a good product, but maybe not right for your specific skin.

      What are your breakouts like? And why do you say you are sensitive? The Flavonoid Complex might not be right for you just yet.

      I've gotten a facial twice before and both estheticians have told me I have combo oily but recently I went to a dermatologist and he said I have sensitive skin so I'm not sure what to go based on their 'diagnosis'

      I would not put aloe from the on the face...simply because you may be one of those people that develop a mild to severe reaction...which I’ve seen happen over the years...the aloe gel in its raw for is unstable which means it’s potent...and may lead to adverse reactions...one of the best ways to use it is on your hair...it does wonders. Not on your face.

      I use tea towels in 10pk from Walmart. They are like only 3.99. And work well. Very thin and nice
