    I’ve used and spent thousands on skincare products.....not until I found Nerida’s videos .....it was so simple and every thing she said make sense to me, so I started by just doing washing my face with my own gel cleanser...OMG, what a difference. I just bought Rejuvi products and throwing out all my current products. This line really works and yes, I see good results in just 3 days. Thank you Nerida!

    Another great video!! Would you be open to doing a short video on why you don't like prescription retinol? People seem to be all about it lately and using it without a prescription. I have tried the 1% Retin A a few times and my skin just can't handle it. It always just takes my face too long to recover from the peeling and then of course I have to shelve all actives for a few weeks until my face get back to normal. At 40, I guess I'm always thinking I can do more in terms of anti-aging, but I have finally accepted that it's a marathon, not a sprint when it comes to retinols and I am sticking to my OTC retinol serums.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I have spoken about this many times in my videos.... its too strong. Most people cannot use retinol every night.... and stop using it altogether. Retinol has to be used to see results. Retinol (vit A) is toxic in strong forms and most people do not have enough fat in their body to absorb its toxicity:)

    Thank you Nerida, you're amazing and very inspirational!!!! I love your videos, I learn so much from them and I love Rejuvi products and use them in my beauty room. I've been using the K cleanser for couple of years now and always recommend to my clients. One of them asked me if it safe to use regularly as it contains Sodium Lureth Sulfate. A lot of people are concern now about the harsh chemicals in skincare and want to look for SLS, paraben free products. Do you know what is the percentage of it as it doesn't say on the packaging?
    All the best, Kate :)

    Nerida, I need to rant to someone who understands. I just received the worst facial of my life. This girl desperately needs your help. She didn’t say a single thing the entire facial. Didn’t mention at all what she was putting on my face. No warning before she blinded me with the maggy light or started extractions. She used a foaming cleanser and a gritty scrub. I told her I was sensitive to fragrances and she proceeded to use heavily fragranced products on my face. She left me with the steamer blasting on my face for 15 minutes without a word of explanation. I don’t even think she was in the room while I was getting steamed. She didn’t ask me a single question about what I’m currently using on my skin. Made exactly zero recommendations of what I should do at home. And didn’t mention sun protection at all. It was just all wrong!

      Oh no....that sounds very upsetting to me too:(( So sorry your facial experience was fare from 5 star Madi. There are many wonderful Esties out there, don't give up:))ox

    • @deficientgirl4224
      @deficientgirl4224 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Madi Guith sounds like you either got a rookie esthi (never leave the room with a steamer on ) or a relaxation esthi. I would be curious if you were at a spa and if you in fact saw an esthi, and not a cosmetologist.
      I myself worked at a spa where a good 80% of my clientele asked me to not speak during their services and refused to be recommended homecare. Perhaps the environment wasn’t conducive for treatment style facials. Sorry your experience was lacking.

      It is the heat that activates is. Especially because with steam your not actually removing it from the skin either-the product still remains with heat activating it.

    Hi Nerida.... when I do a facial my order is cleanser then an enzyme mask (pumpkin with a tiny bit of papaya to calm it down) then instead with it on for 10 min then electric brush the enzyme, remove, then massage with a good oil that an oily skin can use as well then extractions, clean off oil then masque with maybe a hydrating serum or anti redness type serum underneath if needed then remove and toner and sunscreen done..... it sounds like you are doing multiple exfoliating things and also the serums you are using.... at what point in your facial are you using these and how.... under a mask? Just applying alone? Just trying to figure out your sequence and understand why.... I'm only a couple years into my esti career even though I've been a massage therapist for about 17 yrs so I'm still very open to learning technique but I always have to know why..... hoping you have time to reply to this.... thanks

    Thank you so much for this video. You mentioned that cream cleansers are not for everyone. Who would you not recommend it for? I have combination-oily skin, which is often dehydrated and sometimes sensitive (background rosacea) skin. I also have some sebaceous hyperplasia. • @devon.pfeifer
      @devon.pfeifer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      witealli w you can absolutely use a cream cleanser-it just has to be right for you. If you are in a drier climate, and dehydrated especially. But as long as the ingredients aren’t comedogenic or leaving a residue on your skin, you are okay to use them. I use cream cleansers on myself as well.
