    My question is if you have all these layers on your skin throughout the day too keep it protected and hydrated how do you keep from looking so greasy?

    I’m assuming the steroid is triamcinolone acetonide? That stuff has saved my skin so many times. I have super sensitive skin and even the fewest amount of dust mites make the thin skin around my eyes scaly and swollen and painful. It’s not supposed to be used around the eyes but nothing else worked. After 8 months of eyes swollen shut (and missing my own university graduation because I was at yet another doctor’s appointment), my dermatologist gave up and prescribed triamcinolone acetonide. As long as I’m very careful close to my eyes, I have zero problems.
    It also helps when I get rough patches of skin in the creases next to my nostrils :)

    Wow; I am just seeing this video. I commented on another experience I had with an Esty when getting a non peel chemical peel. I actually experienced dermatitis before getting the peel . My skin started itching after using the new products I picked up from her, but I couldn’t tell what was making me itch. She told me to use the Clini Calm by PCA. I should have never gotten that peel; because my skin apparently is very sensitive.

    I’m really not into essential oils but the last ingredient in the flavonoid is essential oil. I have sensitive skin will that sensitize me? I’m also an esti student and loved the ingredients of the healing gel so definitely picking that up for my kit. any plans in the future to formulate completely without essential oils? thanks!

    Hi Nerida! I'm so glad to have stumbled upon your videos and I'm especially glad that you've posted this model's facial since I struggle with eczema and dermatitis on my face and body. I've recently found out (through allergy testing) that I'm allergic to Cocamidopropyl Betaine which seems to be the choice surfactant in all gentle or natural cleansers. I have found some non-foaming cleansers that exclude it but often find that they leave me with clogged pores. I see that you have two cleansers that don't have CMPB, the Rejuvi Plus Gentle Purifying Emulsion and the Rejuvi 'o' Milk Cleanser. Which would you recommend for my situation (dry, dehydrated, eczema, dermatitis, easily clogged pores)? Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

    Hi Nerida. I so wish you will come to the UK. I have eczema on my face (got it in adulthood) and would love a consultation from you. I have been prescribed steroid creams but it always comes back :( I would love to know what I can use to help with this as my self confidence has been affected. My skin has darkened by about 3 or 4 shades and most products I am sensitive to as application causes burning/stinging. If you have plans to come to the UK I would love for you to see me and help. xo

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, its very frustrating. You need to find the right prescription product. There are several out there, but when you use the right one for YOU....it goes away after a few days. Yes it comes back at times, but you have to keep nipping it with the cream until you can find out the internal issue adding to its behavior. I know its difficult ...ox.

    This may be a silly question, but do you moisten your hands with your bowl of water when applying treatment products; cleansers, masks, etc? I’ve always wondered if it is better if the skin is moistened before applying treatment products, or is that inneffective because of diluting? I love you and your videos so so so much! They’ve helped me become a more knowledgeable Estie!

    Hi Nerida. I’m writing here and I hope you can answer this question of mine in anyway. I’m turning 24 in a few days. All of my life, all throughout my teens until about last year my skin started to get little tiny whiteheads, they are so small and I’m not being vain but I’m saddened since I don’t know how to deal with this and I’ve had clear skin all of my life. I’ve never dealt with it and so I don’t really understand what’s wrong, i never used to be sensitive to skincare prouducts either but I seem to not be able to use anything but micellar water to cleanse, exfoliate maybe once a week and la Roche posay moisturizer.. anyway this type of “acne” it’s not painful, they go away after about a week or two but I dot benzoyl peroxide on fhe small whiteheads and that makes them go away quicker but it keeps coming back. It happens around my chin and top of my cheeks. I will also be clear sometimes and than I feel my skin’s fine and back to “normal” but than let’s say a couple hours of being clear I’ll notice a new red spot !? So bizarre..

    Love your videos as always, you're amazing ! Can I please ask something. I can't seem to get rid of my blackheads and it has been years. I tried everything really... They can't be "squeezed" either so I don't know what to do. I have been to a few estheticians and they usually try to squeeze them out but that doesn't work either. It would be a great help if you have any idea why it is like this.

    Nerida, do you think flavonoids from pure cacao powder would get absorbed by our skin if applied as a mask?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My understanding is cacao is not a flavonoid. It does not contain vitamin P or K. Another words, doesn't offer the same nutrients to support the skin, especially a sensitive skin. Cocao bean contains caffeine and magnesium. Very different:))

    Hi Nerida.. Thankyou for another amazing video. Can you please tell me if the purifying mask and the herbal masks are treatment masks or exfoliants? I was under the impression from some of your other videos that they were masks not exfoliants. Thankyou kindly.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they are masks. The purifying mask though has the papaya enzyme (which absorbs dead cells) in it, and, on a very sensitive skin I often use that as my exfoliant instead.

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
