Thank you so much. I really enjoyed the video, and the nice weather in your Florida back. yard! I have a huge win for this week! I had a ski accident about 5 years ago and broke my ankle. On the weekend, I went to Whistler and skied for the first time since then. I have been skiing for about 30 years, and when I finished my day without any hitches, I literally had tears in my eyes, and was so happy to be back to the only sport I've ever truly loved. Congrats on your half marathon!!! ❤❤❤

Congratulations on the half marathon. My weekly win is finishing a pair of socks I wasn’t enjoying working on. I just wanted to get them done as they were giving me a mental block. Loved seeing Toaster’s wee tail wagging when the cat was there.
Weekly win-got back to walking daily for 30 minutes minimum and meditating at least 10. I’m proud of the refocus. Thanks for the idea! We all can benefit from boosting our self-confidence regularly!
Hi Natalie. Thank you for another fun podcast. It was so nice to “go back” to FL though this episode. I lived in FL for 13 years but I’m now in SoCal. All of my family is still in FL though so I get to go back on rare occasions.
I’m so super excited to have my pattern as the selected pattern for the KAL. I need to decide on yarns ASAP.
Congrats on the marathon, that’s amazing for both of you. One of my sons and I have started walking 2 miles every other day and are working toward slowly increasing the distance and speed.

Would love to see an air travel vlog. I'm flying to Spain (from the UK) on Wednesday. Travelling with hand luggage only & trying to fit in everything I want is a challenge, esp as Spain can be cool or warm at the moment.

Congrats on the half! I have done it twice. I am a Disneyland pass holder and wish we could have races back on the west coast. Please take care of your foot. That could be something to see a doctor about. I love the carousel of progress and love to hate country bear jamboree. Both of those were taken away from Disneyland.
I would like to see your blog about knitting and plane travel. The TSA guidelines are pretty anti-knitting needle. I have been taking crochet in my carry on but I would like to have the option to knit.
Congrats on finishing the Disney Princess Half Marathon! My friend and I ran that race 8 years ago! I joked that Disney was the only thing that would get me to run a half marathon! We were one of the later corrals to start so we had to make sure we kept going so we wouldn't be passed by the Mickey Mouse balloon holding pace keeper. The best part of the day was wearing our finisher medals in the park and enjoying all of the Disney employees calling us princesses.

I started the Party Punch shawl last year, but my yarn got all tangled. I took it to the place I purchased it and they untangled it for me, but I haven't picked it up again. I've also almost Toni's sampler blanket. I might be able to get back into it if I see others doing some Tunisian Crochet. 💜

Well done on completing the half-marathon. I'm in my 60's and completed a walking full marathon in 2016 with my 2 daughters and a solo walking half-marathon+2 miles in 2018. Such an enormous sense of achievement.
I didn’t mind the change of filming setup at all! I actually enjoyed the change. And I didn’t notice any background noise (aside from toaster lol).
Love hearing about your projects. I'm not very good yet, but am in love with knitting, and want to make some socks, especially. I've been watching some videos on socks, and have bought some dpns. I need some instructions on what kind of yarn to get, and I'll be set to go. It's the main reason I've picked up knitting, to make socks. Hopefully I'll get good enough at it to join you, but am quite the beginner, for now. Love your videos, and seeing what can be done.

Congrats on the half-marathon!! That is so awesome!! I am an elementary school nurse, and this year has really drug me down with all the covid BS. These past 2 weeks have been SUCH a relief. I have had 2 weeks without a single positive case, and I have been able to caught up and even a little ahead of tasks I have to do. I was able to enjoy the reason why I am a school nurse - THE KIDDOS!! and not just be a covid crisis manager. So, that is my small win this week!! Safe travels home! ~Ann

I was curious about what other patterns were voted upon for the shawl KAL, but I haven't seen them posted anywhere. Did I miss something? I was hoping to see what other small designers I might be able to support.
Once I finish my 2nd advent project I plan to throw all the leftovers in a basket and mix & match for a couple pairs of the weekend shorty socks!

Really enjoy your podcasts and all your makes. I was so glad you asked about wins. It made me realize I had one. I just posted my first knitting podcast after telling myself I couldn't do it. It's very amateur hour, but I'm so proud of myself for just doing it. I'm learning so much about editing and already know where I need to make changes, but I'm glad I took the plunge. You along with a few other podcaster's have been such a big part of where my knitting journey has gone. Soon I hope to be putting up great content and showcasing all of my knits. We just moved to Colorado from Florida; your background was making me miss my pool home lol. I get so much more knitting done here in Colorado. :) Congrats on finishing the half marathon.

Have you tried knooking? It’s knitting with a crochet hook, kind of like Tunisian crochet but you don’t go back on yourself. It’s my favourite fibre art and hardly anyone talks about it 😂. I have tutorials on my channel if you want to check it out.

She was talking about a manatee. They are also referred to “sea cows”. They aren’t what you would call pretty to look at but they are very peaceful to watch.

Country Bear Jamboree was better before they censored it for political correctness. The animal heads on the wall used to inappropriately insult the bears and each other during the performance.
