Regarding knitting everyday, I definitely make that a priority. I work approximately 8am-6pm every weekday so I make sure that I get up at 5am every morning so I have my "ME" time. Coffee, music or podcasts & about 2 hours of kitting (or crochet or cross stitch). I love it so much and have been doing it for so long now, that I even get up at that time on the weekends. My body is just programmed that way now. I actually get mad at myself if I sleep later than that. I feel like I'm wasting my time by sleeping!
Oops, typed my comment above before hearing the end of your podcast. LOL Not saying sleep isn't' important. What I didn't say above, is that I go to bed between 8 & 9 pm so yes, sleep is important and a good priority if you don't get enough.

That sweater is gorgeous! Great call on the colors. The black outlining the pink makes it look like stained glass.
Edit: Hahaha! I just got to the part where you said their pattern was inspired by stained glass but swear I wrote my original comment before you mentioned it. So I guess in terms of effect, the pattern-makers nailed it.

I just started knitting about a month ago now & I find longer needles & magic loop being my favorite. I bought those expensive mini chaiogoos & I’ve been trying everything everyday & I can’t seem to get comfortable with them, I find myself going back to my 5 inch tips & magic loop. So I’m glad to know I’m not the only one lol!
I agree with the 30min in the morning. I can feel when I haven’t done it… it definitely helps with my stress.
Even if I can only spare 10 min, I try to put a few stitches in

Thanks for the questions I had that you helped me with on the Musselburgh hat. I finished it and turned out great! I did half speckled and half solid colors so when I fold the brim it is solid with speckled top. Of course it could be don’t opposite as you know if you turn it inside out. I know they had a update to the pattern that came out yesterday.

Love watching your videos as always! I love that you shared your everyday slouchy WIP. I have been wanting to make this, but dont like a provisional cast on either so didn’t end up making it. I love the idea of just doing a regular cast on, I never think to make changes from a pattern. Also, will be my first time working with Mohair. Do you or anyone have any tips for winding mohair.
