My headcanon is that if every single Pokemon in Gloria's team would faint while fighting a legendary Pokemon, she would just look up at it menacingly before using her bare hands to defeat it
…you headcannon that *wouldnt* be the first thing she does?…
Why people like to lower Gloria’s reputation??
@@buusinhojr.9555its not lowering it
Its making her rep lore accurate……she’s scottish
@@buusinhojr.9555 Lowering nothing, she’s Scottish. She’ll fight god just to prove a point and we’ll love watching her do it
The next Pokemon gimmick should literally just be the protagonist doing hand to hand combat with other people and pokemon. Then we’ll get to see this in action.
My headcannon is that gyms were originally used to test if ancient trainers were strong enought to be out in the wild without dying
Legends Arceus in a nutshell
I believe they started more like martial arts dojos, and the league kind of sprung up around them, as the gyms challenged each other. It also would explain why we have at least 2 gym leaders turned Elite 4.
@@LegendStormcrow that would make sense and maybe all the known gym leaders one together in one big tournament to see what region is the strongest overall like tgey did back in the old days
ZA leaked
My headcannon is that after the area zero incident Arven went to his dorm, got on the floor, and had a moment similar to when you lay on the floor with napstablook
Oh yes, poor guy. And everyone of the area zero crew has to keep checking in on each other, because that was A LOT.
(1) The Pokemon school Rose enrolled Bede in was Naranja/Uva Academy in Paldea but he ended up being the ringleader of the students bullying Team Star and dropped out after being confronted.
(2) Penny used her 18 months “studying abroad” in Galar to join the Gym Challenge and face Bede but made it all the way to the Pokemon League without knowing he was disqualified. She competed anyway and was actually the unknown trainer Hop beat in the semi finals. Which is why her Pokemon are already Geeta level when we fight her.
Nah penny beat bede for the REVENGE
@@diaborodevil3161 frrr
The funny thing is her uncle endorsed him .maybe a reason why rose saw getting rid of him as the FIRST option was because penny spilled all the tea on bede
@@user-iw2jb2gl7kjEwISh I’m sure it’s possible but I think after he found out about the bullying thing he decided to give him one more chance in the Gym Challenge but saw what Bede did to the mural as the last straw and abandoned him.
Don't forget the player aswell
Most of my headcanons have to do with the origins of Legendaries:
1. Regirock was the first Regi created by Regigigas, on accident when Regigigas was feeling lonely and started stacking rocks. After realising that it could create life, it got really excited and made the other four.
2. When life first began, Xerneas hated Yveltal, but overtime has grown to recognise that death is an important part of life, and now respects Yveltal as an equal and perhaps a friend.
3. Giratina's original purpose was to fill the new Universe made by Dialga and Palkia with matter and energy. The 'act of violence' that got it banished was the creation of antimatter.
This feels like it could naturally integrate into any Pokémon legends game for these specific regions. So like the Kalos version is about how Xerneas and Yveltal’s hatred of one another kinda causing chaos around Ancient Kalos
I bet Regigigas freaked out when he made Regirock. I can him having a panic attack while Regirock is trying to figure out what his purposes is.
That first one is so fricking cute!
Character growth
As some who prefers the Giratina is antimatter headcanon I love that
all of them make good sense and could be true
@@BlueSodaFoxregigigas: what did I do
Regirock: father what is my purpose
Gigas: at the moment you’re a friend
My headcanon is that in Galar, Bea acts like Alisters older sister. She helped motivate him to become a strong trainer so he could defend himself from bullies instead of Bea having to help him every time. Now they're best friends who share a gym and change who leads it twice a year. Its just really inconvenient to swap out all the decorations though.
This should be CANON plssss-
My funny headcannon is that the real reason Poppy is in the elite four is because she threatened Geeta by saying “ if you don’t let me in the elite four I’ll get my Tinkaton to break your knees”
I can see that happening😂
“Say goodbye to your kneecaps Geeta”
I'd say yes too if a child had a TINKATON run towards me with the hammer ready to swing
If I didn't it would be the first time I'd break a bone
Bro why did I read this in a baby voice 💀💀
She will break yo Nico-nico knee caps
I like to think that any Pokémon you transfer from legends arceus is like finding one of your ancestors Pokémon being passed down to you or they were just sitting in their pokeball in your attic and you just found them one day
i like this
My headcanon is that the only reason Crispin hasnt confessed to Lacey, is that he knows Clay would absolutely destroy him with their type effectiveness
This implies that Clay would challenge any partner of Lacey's, and if you can beat him, then you can date her.
@@MagusAgrippa8 Clay: I just wanna talk to him...
@@MaskedMon Clay: Yes... talk... with my Excadrill holding his drills uncomfortably close.
Crispin has an Exeggutor though
Also rotom and talon flame
Here's one I just came up with:
You know how some Shinies have changed over the years? For example that Charizard had a Barney colored Shiny back in gen 2. Here in our world it's because GameFreak just wanted to give the most populair Pokémon at the time some more attention.
But I think that In-Universe it's the doing of Palkia and Dialga being bored and just betting on who can do the craziest thing with their powers.
Like: "Hey Dialga, I bet that I can just change Charizard's Shiny and no one would notice"
Love it
Palkia: you mean what I did to yours
Diagla: wait what
Palkia: it was original black with gold accents
Diagla: bro you made me ugly
Palkia: yep then father changed mind to be me but a pink tint
My head cannon is that Koraidon actually only likes the sandwich bread and leaves the insides scattered everywhere while Miraidon only likes the insides and tosses the bread.
genius
While cyclizar keeps the sandwich for there trainer.
And while revavroom eats the entire sandwich and commits warcrimes in Lithuania.
so if we bring the 2 of them together we can have perfectly balanced sandwich consumption
@@Tetronus Why Lithuania?????
@@Tetronus wait what's Lithuania??? (speaking from the Pokémon world)
My headcannons are:
1. Some trainers record their battle themes with lyrics by juno songs but when a battle starts their normal battle themes play because of copyright.
2. Peacharunt was a peach that had toxins injected into it by scientists and then a now extinct species of pokemon ate it and became peacharunt.
JUNO SONGS!!!! I love their lyric versions of the AI professor theme, great lyrics for a great theme
Through the gates of Eden lies a paradise past bonds of time
Here are some champion head canons!
1. Leon would try to take hop to McDonald's but then end up in the distortion world
2. Steven gives out rocks on christmas
3. There is a squad in pokemon called the daddy/mummy issues squad this includes gladion, sliver, guzma, lily, N, Bianca, arven, barry and bede
The parental problems pokepals
@@asmolblueberry OMG YES-
And let’s not forget Brendan/May depending on who is the protagonist
Why is Barry in the club?
@@BrandonTheOne2 because his dad left him temporarily to be a better battler
Couple headcannons of mine that are connected:
1) Trainers have their own abilities like pokemon do. And these abilities effect how they raise their pokemon. Nurses and Doctors have an ability to auto-heal pokemon fully (apart of why pokecenters are free to use), Breeders have abilities that make Egg finding easier, or something like flame body that speeds up the process of hatching them, Fishermen have something similar to suction cups that boosts or guarantees that they can always get a pokemon on their fishing line.... and we can probably go on and on for each trainer class, so I'll leave one that here.
2) For most trainers, their pokemon loose exp over time if not getting trained regularly, hence why some trainer's pokemon can be a lower level when you face them at latter points (Like Gehstis, that one Flare scientist, that Pikachu elder from Coloseum and XD, ect.)... why is this not effected in gameplay? well....
3) For the player characters, they all have the ability to make it so that pokemon their own don't loose exp over time, which is apart of why they can level up faster then normal (less things slowing them down) and why they seem like such prodigies to everyone around them... training pokemon is literally easier for them then it is everyone else.
With the first one I belive this is actually cannon within the Pokémon adventures manga, an expample being yellows ability to heal Pokémon without needing items
@@thebees9368 Then there's characters like Auron with that Aura ability.... and the Psychics running around.
I’m sorry but I’ve never seen someone misspell Ghetsis so badly before-
@@apocalypseofplush Ehh, I only got a couple letters in the wrong spot... just shift the 'h' and first 's' into the right spots and presto. Not bad since I wasn't looking it up to double check.
@@13KuriMaster yeah but it’s still kinda funny lol
In the manga, it's stated that Green/Leaf lost her home in a fire, so here's some headcanons
-her Gengar is actually one of her family members that decided to stay with her, even after becoming a thief
-any fire types gives her anxiety, Blaine and Moltres have made her faint a few times
-she subconsciously reaches for Blasty's (Blastoise) pokeball without realizing it
She definitely had a fear of birds because Ho-Oh carried her off as a little girl and it traumatized her. Catching the Legendary Birds was an exercise to over her trauma
@@tristanalain9239 Moltres and Ho-Oh are both fire types sooooo
That’s a depressing headcanon
Steven Stone keeps the location of the whole Beldum evolutionary line population for himself. He's either the only one who knows they are naturally, like in some hidden cave in Hoeen or a secret entrance in Granite Cave, or he just keeps a lot of Beldums for himself, and breeds them with Dittos or something so they won't go extinct.
So that explains why he has a shiny metagross in the anime. He's shiny hunting what a legend
@@AprilTheAwesomee Didn't even thought about it, he might the the first canonic shiny hunter in Pokémon 🤣🤣🤣
@@AprilTheAwesomee he's just like me fr
A few headcanons:
1. Volkner and Flint play video games and eat pizza while debating whose type is better, before getting angry and eventually both just pass out on the couch.
2. Professor Juniper occasionally checks up on the b/w trio acting as an aunt of some kind.
3. Clemont and Sophocles message each other about machines, games, memes and their experiences being electric type gym leaders.
4. Proffesor Kukui became the masked royal because he thought he would be able to fight pokemon and test their moves, and after figuring it out decided to just keep doing it for fun.
5. If Hau and Hop ever meet they would be the best of friends.
I have a few:
- most of the protagonist pairs are siblings (with the exception of ones that we know come from different families in-game, like May/Brendan or Calem/Serena)
- Red is mute/selectively mute and mainly communicates through sign language
- with gyms like Stow-on-Side and Circhester that have two type specialties, the two gym leaders share the same gym (like it's split in half) and trainers can choose which gym leader they want to challenge
Here are some of my favorite headcanons:
1. Arven has a habit of trying to pet every dog Pokémon he sees
2. Steven and Wallace wear matching costumes every year for Halloween
3. Gloria and Hop have used Hop's Dubwool as a pillow on multiple occasions
But what about Victor!!!!!!1!!!!!1!

Headcanon from a Pokedex entry. Gabite is known to adore jewels and covet them away into its secret cave hoard. I just picture that every time Gabite finds a new gem, its pupils get really big, like a cat on catnip. And then it will chomp the jewel to make sure the quality's good.

Some Paldea HCs:
1. Katy, when not busy at the Gym and Patisserie Soapberry, is a diehard super-sentai fan and binges episodes in her downtime. That's why her "ace" is a Lokix.
2. Larry actually likes his jobs as both a Gym Leader and Elite Four member, but HATES Geeta.
3. Team Star has a joint Discord server, and the only ones who're admins aside from the Bosses and Penny are Youssef (Atticus' compadre), Harrington (Ortega's butler) Carmine (Eri's friend).
4. Iono has Pepe-like emotes, but it's Bellibolt instead.
5. Kieran has willingly tried Pecharunt's toxic mochi, and felt nothing.
6. After the events of The Way Home, Arven registered his Mabostiff as an Emotional Support Pokemon for PTSD.
7. Nemona treats her butlers and housemaids like they're family.
8. Penny is EXTREMELY jealous of Chase/Elaine's (Let's GO Protagonist) Partner Eevee, and has bribed them with thousands worth of LP, but doesn't know that Kanto doesn't accept LP as legal currency.
9. Crispin got his frying pan from Lacey, and still hasn't mustered up the courage to ask her out since.
10. Drayton was the one to first discover Duraludon's evolution into Archaludon by showing his then Duralodon a fancy piece of scrap he found.
Harrington is the former headmaster, not Ortega’s butler
@@theultimatenerd9825Right and he's there to teach piano.
I feel like giving the guy who was responsible for demonizing Team Star for doing what was right wouldn't get invited to their group chat. But then I wouldn't think one of them would hire him as their piano teacher either.
I agree on the Katy one, but I'm thinking more Kamen Rider that Super Sentai.
Also, I'm sure the first Kamen Rider in the Pokemon world was modeled after Ledian
There is some hints that Larry shows some disdain for Geeta
However the opposite can be said for Geeta
She shown she does care about Larry and admires his work ethic, but wishes he would work less and has to force him to take breaks. She recommends him for a business trip in another region, which I also interpret as her essentially giving him a free vacation
I love the idea of #10, just in general as a way for evolutions to be discovered. A trainer just finds something cool and show their Pokémon and it just evolves, they didn't know it would but it just happens.
My personal headcanons for some of the gym leaders:
-There never was some 'Pokemon War' and Lt. Surge never saw combat, it's a kayfabe personality he puts on to look cool for challengers.
-Volkner accidentally causes blackouts in Sunyshore fairly frequently, but the city gently puts up with him because they remember what happened the last time they were too hard on the weird kid who liked machines
-As mining professionals, Clay and Byron are probably business partners and friends. Lacey and Roark probably know *of* each other but likely have rarely if ever met
#2 is evil lol
Here’s a few:
-The Fairy type is one of the hardest types to master because, like real life fey, they don’t entirely follow the laws of the real world and also why there’s so few pure Fairy Types. Also they have a warping effect on people if they ‘stare too deeply’ so to say - you can’t tell me Valerie in Kalos isn’t entirely human anymore.
-I’ve always pictured Hilda easily being a biker chick and I can imagine her tearing up the roads in Unova on some racing motorcycle, but absolutely hates shoving her hair into a helmet.
-The first person that discovered Trubbish as a Pokémon absolutely freaked out, like “WHY IS THE TRASH BAG MOVING AROUND BY ITSELF?!?!”
Some humans just can't comprehend the perfection that is the Transgender Bnuuy, and the majestic Cloudy Eggbirb.
Biker Hilda Biker Hilda Biker Hilda😃😃😃😃
I got mostly galar headcanons:
1) Hop and Marnie are both really into thrifting and go shopping together whenever they have free day. (Marnie’s jacket is thrifted that’s why it looks so big on her.)
2) Oleana was probably taking care of Bede more than Rose was. Bede’s watch is gift from her.
3) Sonia has a mandatory, unskippable tea time with Professor Magnolia every Saturday. They like to just enjoy each other’s company.
4) Alastor and Marnie are friends. They both get called emo offhandedly and they despise it.
One of my headcanons is that when Shauntal can’t think of anything to write, she sneaks into Caitlin’s room and uses Dream Eater or something to steal her ideas, because Caitlin is a super wild dreamer. And once the book is done, Caitlin thinks Shauntal is a genius for making a book that “coincidentally” had the same premise as her dream.
Here are some of my headcanons!
1. Blue has SERIOUS abandonment issues because Red left to be on Mount Silver. Thats why they go to Alola together because Blue doesn’t want to be alone.
1.5. I also think that before they went to Alola, they traveled to a bunch of other regions so thats why they were also in Unova for the PWC.
2. With enough practice and being around Pokemon, trainers could learn how to understand them. However, it is really difficult. Thats why N understands Pokemon because he was raised by them and learned to communicate with them.
3. Iono frequently receives sponsors so she often give the sponsors out to small creators. She also gets a load of sponsors from Tulip’s Make-up business as she is the easiest to reach out to.
I can 100% see the first one
My headcanon is that when Cynthia goes out for Ice cream she gets some for Garchomp as well. But since Garchomp is 4 times weak to Ice it takes a bit of damage from eating the ice cream but still loves eating it cause ice cream makes Cynthia happy. Garchomp may use the move Fire Fang to not take damage from ice cream when it eats it.
Just the idea of a garchomp carefully licking an ice cream as to not hurt itself is so cute, I’d have thought such a large, imposing creature would just scarf it down whole but it just politely licking it is so precious! Thanks for putting this adorable image in my head haha
Garchomp just has VERY sensitive teeth :)
To give my own headcanon for why NPCs don't carry full teams, in the anime we see that people very rarely have full 6 on 6 battles (though they likely carry six on them). It's usually 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. I imagine it's like this in the games as well. The fact that the player always uses a full team of six is just us cheating.
Gaming-themed headcanons for each of the protags
Gen 1: Red, Leaf, and Blue all grew up with and love retro video games
Gen 2 Ethan is a hardcore gamer and plays exclusively shooters, Lyra plays exclusively life sim games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley
Gen 3: Brendan and May go to each other's house to play videogames whenever the other's Dad is not around. They both got really good at smash melee bc of them both having a GameCube.
Gen 4: Lucas has been trying to get Dawn into video games but the only one he has been able to convince her to play with him is Minecraft
Gen 5: Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, and Rosa all play Mario Party together and take it way too seriously
Gen 6: Both Kalos protags only play visual novels; Calem plays Mystery games and Serena plays dating sims
Gen 7: Elio and Selene play exclusively horror games, but will put it on hold to play games with Lillie
Gen 8: Victor always 100%s a video game while Gloria can't stand it when she sees someone has a high score that beats hers.
Gen 9: Penny was able to convince Florian, Juliana, and Nemona to join her Esports Team but they all are extremely terrible and get hard carried by Penny.
Calem tricked Serena into playing danganronpa
I would be able to fit right in with Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, and Rosa if that was the case🤣🤣🤣
I can imagine Serena falling for DDLC being a cutesy dating Sim, and then would play it, be traumatized, and force Calem to try it.
Edit: I hope he sees this comment and the replies. This one's extremely funny.
Im imagining calem just sitting there in silence, with nothing but ace attorney, having a mental breakdown because maya is, yet again, accused of murder
Y O U F O R G O T K R I S
@@emk08 oh shit ur right.
Kris is actually better than Brendan at most video games but he will never admit it. She plays a lot of obscure indie games.
Headcanon: Some Pokemon trainers have scars / bandaids. Example being Korrina / any fighting type gym leader or Alain (Because of what happened in the anime.) Korrina would have bandaids everywhere on her, because I feel like she'd skate a lot then bump into something / someone. Lisia also has scratches but she hides it under her arm warmers / idol outfit sleeves / whatever its called. She has them from trying out Mega Evolution for the first time, then it backfires.
Other headcanon: Trainers who use Mega Evolution have a subtle eye color change. For Steven, it glows a bit yellow like his manga counterpart. And Diantha, it has more of a lilac shade. Its only there after years of using the gimmick, unlike Ash or Cynthia who just started it. (Ash Greninja kind of counts? I mean like continuous use of Mega Evolution, and since Ash stopped using it, he doesn't get the cool eye color change.)
I like to imagine Cyrus is also terrified of bugs like Cyllene, so imagining him backing away from a Kricketot is funny
"I will finally create my new wor- AHH BURMY!"
@@BlueSodaFox LOL
I bet you the reason why he disappeared is because Dawn brought a Heracross to Spear Pillar.
@@BlueSodaFox I can’t believe she’d bring that *creature* to the holy ruins of Spear Pillar
Oh, that's brilliant...
I have a nice little headcanon:
In the games where Ash does not exist, I like to think Brock & Misty are still friends. They like to meet up on weekends, have lunch and maybe go hiking or swimming together.
I have a headcanon that either
A:The pokéballs have a system of labelling themselves depending on what pokemon was caught in it
Or
B:The trainer labels the Pokéballs themselves with like a sharpie and has to cross out and write new names whenever a pokémon evolves
Instead of crossing out the name, they could either use dry-erase markers on the Pokéball or write the name on a piece of tape that they then stick on the Pokéball.
I had a ball pit as a kid and I did exactly that.
My HC are:
1.Selene and Elio are the same person but from a parallel universe where everything is the same except the two protagonist and all the exclusive pokemon for each version of the game
2. There is an Ash (from the Alola anime) in another parallel universe that faced ultra Necrozma and died shattering all of the thing he had with him in other dimensions (that's why in USUM we can find Ash's clothes and his Pikachu in game)
I have been building up my headcannons for this moment
1. Chairman Rose learned Penny was a wiz with computers and used her to hack into databases to scout potential new champions (that's how he found Bede)
2. Ogreppon doesn't like Kieran because she had to save him when he tried to trek up the mountain when he was a kid.
3. Pecharunt has people do the weird dance because it's about the only dance it can do with it's tiny arms
4. Mina has a terrible sense of direction, buts shes uses it to her advantage to find nice scenery for her paintings
5. Everynight every trainer in a route group up to make a big campsite where people socialize, trade, and exchange info.
6. Ogrepon randomly picks up Pecha berries to check if Pecharunt is hiding in it.
7. The reason Red is silent is because Blue spent their entire childhood beating Red's self-esteem into a fine paste
8. ✨️✨️Scottish Gloria✨️✨️
9. Guzma has a secret team of super cute & adorable Pokémon, which are actual demons, & everybody fears them

A headcannon I have is that when ever you turn off the game the player chugs like 7 cups of coffee and refuses to sleep
My headcannon is that Wally and N hang around on Pasio and people mistake them for siblings when their not even related.
10:46 I don't know if you know but Jasmine is in Sunnyshore city after the "blackout" was fixed. So it is very possible that she and her Magnemite did help fix the issue. Nice headcanon
My headcannon is that Falkner really likes to ride on airplanes due to his love towards flying types. Whenever he is on a airplane, he is looking out the window the entire time trying to spot as many flying type Pokémon he can
We can say this for any Flying type specialist, especially Skyla.
Not even headcanon at that point its probably just canon
Funny thing is the Brycen retireing got expanded on in masters ex literally today in the Grusha event. Brycen was originally an actor, was injured because of a stunt he did. Becuase of his injury, he gave up on acting and became a gym leader. Working with his mentor and his pokemon as a gym leader he was able to return to acting. After acknowledging his faliures and seeing he still had things to learn and because of the support he got from his gym team and the people around him, he was able to return to acting full time. All of this is from when both Brycen and Pryce talk to Grusha about his path after Malva brings up his snowboarding career which he feels is completely taken from him and now he has to be a gym leader while also simultaniously feeling frustrated after lossing to a couple of different trainers (including the S/V player) and that that dream is completely gone.
My Headcanon might sound a bit grim at first, but I genuinely see it in a wholesome light:
Nemona's arm isn't actually braced, but instead it's a prosthetic that her family commissioned for her after some sort of accident that caused her to loose it when she was younger. But! Because Nemona is Nemona, she doesn't think of it as a big deal and even deliberately takes her prosthetic off to show people while being all like "Eh? Eh!? Pretty cool right?!"
(Also, that's how I think Arven "met" her, since the professor was probably the one to make the prosthetic)
A pretty dumb headcanon I just came up with: the switches in Vermilion Gym constantly change their location, because some diglett from diglett's cave right below the city have tunneled themselves all the way through the gym floor and they want to mess with trainers as revenge, because trainers who struggle / fail at the gym keep going down to the cave to catch their friends.
I have a poke ball related head cannon. Poke balls are mini hotels for Pokemon and are bigger with more features the higher the catch rate, which means the type of pokeball they were caught in, means they were satisfied with the room.
This could also mean that pokemon that break out of luxury balls are either spoiled or just don't care because they are wild animals
Aren’t these what apple Balls are really? I swore I heard it was like this.
I have a few headcannons
1- Hop often uses Wooloo as a pillow, and has done so since he was a child. It’s come to the point where Hop has difficulty sleeping with regular pillows and needs Wooloo to sleep, like a pillow pet.
2- I didn’t come up with this one but I felt it needed to be heard. Kids are taught about Pokémon types and type matchups in school like it’s the periodic table, it would probably be the same as science class.
3- All the Pokemon protagonists have the same ability as N, which is why they know what moves a Pokemon has and the HUD in general, as well as tell when a Pokemon wants to learn a new move.
4- The people in the Pokemon world are built different compared to the ones in our world, they constantly survive because electrocuted, set on fire and bodied by everything, even children have survived this stuff from what we’ve seen from the anime. I like this headcannon especially because it makes the Pokémon world less scary, because people can just casually survive most of the dangerous Pokemon with minor damage.
I really hope my headcannons make it to the next video, but if not then that’s fine too, but I’m still hoping.
These are all true and you cannot change my mind
My personal headcanon is that Lt. Surge isn't from Kanto. He's from Alola. Here's my reasons why.
1. His sign outside of his gym describes him as "American" and considering the Kanto region is based off of actual Kanto in real life, which is in Japan, this already implies that he isn't from here.
2. The Alolan and Unovan regions are both based on parts of America, so there's already two regions were he originally hail from. I personally believe Alola to be the case due to how popular Pikachu is in that region, what with surfing Pikachu and Alolan Raichu and all and surge uses a Raichu in every on of his teams when you battle him, so he probably really likes the Pikachu line as well.
3. Also he's buff, and the Alola region is full of muscular guys and gals.
Also there’s the Kantonian Gym in Malie City that’s literally just Lt. Surge’s gym
My headcanon is that Sada and Turo are, in both Scarlet and Violet, Arven’s parents. In Scarlet, Turo died first while researching past pokemon and Sada felt she needed to take over his research and got engrossed in it. For Violet, it’s the other way around
A somewhat silly headcanon I have is that after the Ultra Beast invasion in Alola, people eventually start making products based on them. I can totally see Buzzwole energy drinks, Nihilego hats and even Xerkitree Christmas trees for the holidays.
origami kartana!!! I want one!!!
I WANT A NIHILEGO HAT!
Nihihelgo hat is absolutely foul
I can imagine a big guzzlord Halloween costume that’s similar to one of those inflatable T-rex costumes.
Given that about half the trainers most protagonists fight are the evil team grunts, I head-canon this is the reason the protagonists get so strong so quickly - they effectively fight twice as many trainers as other trainers their age do
im just gonna recomment my headcanon + a new one hope thats okay
1. n believes in past lives and randomly references them like “in my past life i was an orthworm” and everyone is like “dude what are you talking about”
2. marnie and bede don’t know eachother. whenever they, the player and hop somehow come across eachother hop is like “oh isnt this a nice friendly rival reunion?” marnie and bede are like “i have never seen this man in my life”

@@aromanticfranziskavonkarma PLEASE
9:25 that explains why Magikarp is the only one that panics outside of water, he's so pathetic, he can't even do what everyone else can
Here's a few:
1. It takes a lot longer for Pokémon to heal at the center than what we see in the game, and the cut to black is so the trainer can go to the bathroom, shower, etc.
2. PokéStar Studios is the Pokémon World's version of Cannon Films, doing multiple productions simultaneously while being dirt cheap.
3. Cynthia is only allowed in certain parts of Unova because she's considered a threat to the Vanillite line's survival.
4. Smeargle are banned in Galar for painting over the ancient mural in Stow-on-Side.
5. A version of Ash exists in the games timeline, leaving Pallet after Red/Blue/Green, ending up with a spare Pikachu and is much less well known in the games than his anime counterpart.
6. If a Smeargle uses Fly, it does so by spinning its tail like a helicopter.
Smeargle would also spin its tail when swimming to propel itself like a motorboat, but doing so would leave a colorful trail of paint behind them.
We have the same Ash headcanon on the games
Thanks so much for making these. They really do bring me joy. To explain that last one, the reason Barry is often associated with honey is because of the dumb honey tree mechanic in gen 4. You can put honey on a tree and if you come back 6 hours later you MIGHT find a sorta rareish pokemon. But Barry has a Heracross AND a Munchlax which can only be found through the honey trees and the chances are SUPER low. So either Barry has a lot more patience than he lets on, he is stupidly lucky, or he really has a thing for honey.
Again, I love these videos thank you for making them.
Here are some of my headcanon
1. The reason elio and seline have that blank gaze is because they went through a traumatizing event when they were little and they are always in stress and worried but they put on a blank expression to make everyone feel at ease bot there's a lot more that goes on under that expression
2. The elite 4 member Bruno often gives money to Pokemon shelters and visits them on his holidays to check up on them
3. The reason Giovanni sends Jessie James and Mewoth on dangerous missions is cause he wants to get rid of them
The one about Elio and Selene reminds me of Espurr and how it puts on that blank stare to try and control its psychic powers.
@alpagala7188 the one about the sun and moon protagonist makes lots of sense it probably had to do something with a event in kanto like maybe a weird team rocket raid
One head canon for the Tao dragons is that shortly after their separation, reshiram and zekrom were shocked to their predicament, and tried to bring themselves back together in any shape or form, but as time went on and the original brothers passed, they started to see each other as not two fractured halves but newly formed brothers who were able to pursue their own destinies, even hugged after the battle with N. Unfortunately Kyrum didn’t think this way and instead forced the two other dragons back together, eventually managing to fuse with one of them, which left them traumatized by kyrum’s chaotic power, and soon drove Kyrum away into the giant’s chasm, eventually teaming up with Ghestis to get their revenge.
Another is that the ultimate weapon works in both ways being able to revive or destroy everything around it, but requires both xerneus and yvelta in order to be at full power otherwise it would become unstable, also while the legendaries prevented the team flare admins from calling for backup but in two different ways, xerneus put them all to sleep while yevelta straight up drained them to the bone of their life force. I also imagine that yevelta behaves like death in puss in boots 2, relishing in the pain and suffering of its victims.
I have a head canon that when Kieran was younger he used to draw nothing but ogerpon and hang them in his room and he would make other stuff like figures out of stuff he finds such as wood or clay or at least try to and even write stories about meeting ogerpon and he would also get real embarrassed about it if anyone actually saw them especially Carmine. And after you show up and take ogerpon he switches over to drawing his hydrapple instead
A headcanon that I thought was cute recently:
When ash battles in something important and team rocket is there watching, ash knows they’re there but doesn’t say anything and instead he tries to make it a good show for them
Team rocket also secretly make bets on ash winning everytime he battles in the pokemon league
It only ever worked out in alola and the master league
They also believe the Tobias battle was bullsh!t
Arven and Mallow have become good friends after the events of Scarlet and Violet and regularly text each other new recipes, Crispin joins them after the events of Mochi Mayhem
A few headcanons;
The Fan games are canon to the Pokemon Multiverse. With the ones which introduce new mechanic, regions and pokemon being a bit far from the main game/anime timeline due to how different they are. An example of this is Pokemon Infinite Fusion due to how drastically different the world is thanks to the fusion technology.
The events of Pokemon Ranger Shadow of Alima are kept classified and are only known by those who are allowed to know. Such as Champions, Select Gym Leaders and people like Looker. And it makes sense with how a lot of that information would have to be kept secret to avoid criminals from making an attempt to do the same thing on a larger scale.
And finally, thanks to a comic, Ingo eventually got sent back to the future due to a time space disortion and reunited with his brother. Soon recounting what he had experienced during his time in the Hisui region. Yes this also does work with the headcanon that Ingo is just repressing everything and everyone just assumes he has amnesia.
My headcanon is that the reason hop didn't join in in the first half of the eternatis fight was because he went to help Leon whom most likely got hurt.
My headcannon is that the protaganist and Kieran are in love. When you say that Kieran is your friend to his grandpa, Kieran says: "What?! R-really?! We're friends? F-friends... I feel all tingly and funny hearing that... Ehehe..." Which clearly implies that he loves the protagonist. Also, at the start of Mochi Mayhem when your Paldea friends ask about Kieran, you can respond with: "He's my... Friend" Clearly implying that the protaganist loves Kieran back.
I thought kieran was like obsessed with the protag like how u get obsessed with cartoon characters or random topics he got obsessed with the player(I think it only happens to some people but I'm sure it happens)
He gives you an Applin. There is no other reason for him to give you an Applin.
@@limeslime711 Like that one video where Marnie give the protag an applin?
My headcanon is that Peony is Penny's father. It is revealed in dialogue that Penny comes from Galar. In mochi mayhem, we hear Penny's father pronounce adventure, "adven-tour" just like Peony.
This isn't head canon, though it's just true.
That’s not even a head canon, it’s just Canon-canon
It's canon, unless Rose also says "adven-tour" for some reason.
Side note: Penny being ungrateful of her father's love right in front of Arven, who's father is either missing or dead depending on which game you play is genuinely insane 💀
I guess if I had a headcanon would be:
Diantha has had so many movie roles that she’s capable of speaking in any accent ever.
Here’s a few :3
- jirachi hugs onto minior in space like a little pillow while it sleeps
- ash’s pikachu and goh’s cinderace frequently conspire with each other to try to get them together, but they just can’t best their sheer obliviousness
- all the legendary and mythical Pokémon get together on Pokémon day for a reunion, it never ends well (Groudon and kyoger are arguing like a married couple, zekrom and reshiram are trying to start political conversations, lunala is super overwhelmed and texts solgaleo every five minutes asking if they can go home yet, etc.)
Edit: check the comments, theres more fun HCs :D
And Palkia just turns to Hoopa and goes like “dude… seriously, you need to stop opening your portals.”
lunala being an introvert is the best thing i’ve heard in a while
@@buusinhojr.9555 I imagine that hoopa would come up to palkia like they’re buddies and start chatting up a storm, and palkia would just be doing its best to make polite small talk while crushing one of those red solo cups in its hand with its eye twitching because it can’t snap and make arceus look bad in front of the other legends
@@bonniethesilly_ solgaleo and lunala are so introvert-extrovert siblings coded
these are actually peak hcs i’m stealing them from you hehehe
Headcanon 1: bird Pokémon will preen their trainers hair like IRL pet birds, much to the poor trainers dismay when their Corviknight tries to show them affection. I like to imagine this includes legendary birds as well.
Headcanon 2: Riding your Pokémon requires a license (and a lot of training) to do so. Which is why you can rarely do it, let alone choose what Pokémon you ride.
Headcanons
1.
All the Champions secretly work with the International Police either investigating teams, befriends the pokemon or investigates the region itself. We see the champions get involved a lot with the main story or have some involvement. Lance keeps watch of evil teams, Steven investigates Hoenn's past, Cythia investigates Sinnoh's past, Alder helps fight team Plasma, Diantha and her close relationship with Lysandre, Leon takes care of rogue pokemon, Geeta is heavily involved with many aspects of Paldea and keeps her eyes on any trainers with great potential.
The reason why they don’t say anything is because their involvement is secret. And the reason why the protagonist doesn’t get told this is because they’re too young
2. Carmine and Nemona secretly fight over you. Whenever they meet the two get rivalry vibes and have a intense battle(Nemona always wins obviously). Penny and Kieran just facepalm during the entire battle, and Arven might egg them on(But thinks he is your super best friend)
3. The reason why Penny is in Paldea is to keep her safe from Rose. Peony is shown to be very loving and protective of her based on Penny’s comments. He knows Penny is skilled with computers and hacking and that her uncle would use her for that. Peony sent her to Paldea to keep her away from Rose, even though it pains him to do that.
Also when she was being bullied he wanted to square up on everyone who hurt his little girl. But sending her away was mainly done to Keep her away from Rose, and when she came back to Galar he kept a close eye on her again because of Rose
Where did the “Penny is from Galar.” Thing come from? It came out of nowhere for me.
@@drxtale9446
Umm did you play the Team Star storyline?
It’s said the Team Star Boss was sent back to her home region of Galar. It’s confirmed her dad is Peony….so yea she is from Galar
Penny and Kieran would do that their basically the same person just from different regions
@@thedarknight307 really?? I got to have missed that somewhere
@@drxtale9446 There's a quite clear reference to it from the recent SV Epilogue. Whilst I havent played it myself yet, the pictures I've seen have Penny being in a call with someone and saying that "Adven-tours" aren't a thing, which means it's clearly Peony on the phone
I’ve got a couple headcanons I’d like you to hear!
-Everytime Lillie (Nihilego) gets scared, it would run to Lillie (Human)
-Ash is part alolan.
-Hal would play pokemon go everyday and show off his pokemons to you
I have a few headcanons!
1. Diantha carries around a bag of lollipops and gives them out to chikdren. This can go for any gym leader/ elite four member in general, and the treat can change depending on their personaility. Like Iono handing out lemon taffy.
2. When it comes to my player charater, whenever she leaves a region after becoming champion her hall of fame party stays behind and deals with all of the responsibilities of being the champion. Or the previous champion stays and she keeps her entry in the hall of fame.
3. A small thing from some of my Pokemon in SV, my Meowscarada (His name is Scavi) loves acting like a tv host. I like to see him as acting like Mettaton and its overall just fun.
Got a headcanon for ya: After you beat Legends Arceus, Arceus insures that you'll always be reincarnated alongside the Pokémon you've caught and bonded with and that your partner is always destined to meet you as the next starter you pick for your next journey in your new life. This also explains why catching Pokémon comes so easily to us and why some Pokémon can be critically caught. It's simply because these were the new incarnations of our old Pokémon just in another region and at a different time. (Mainly got this 1 from the lady in SV that gives you special Rotom phone cases if you have save data from other games on it.)
1. My headcanon about why NPCs have less pokemon is unlike the player who has video game rules everyone else has to take care of their Pokemon like we do pets. Feeding and maintaining and the physical, emotional and mental needs of 6 super animals is extremely hard.
2. Elesa and the subway twins are actually triplets. Elesa being fraternal while Ingonand Emmet are identical.
3. There is a Mickey Mouse equivalent in the World of Pokemon. Danny Dedenne. Disney tried to copyright real Dedenne wearing red pants.
In Pokken one of the stages is a Diggersby-themed amusement park and I think it's meant to be some sort of Disney World parody
Even if I don't consider pikachu to be a mouse there's no way the mickey mouse equivelent wouldn't be a pikachu
@@wildstarfish3786
I just think Dedenne cuter. Personal opinion
Here’s just some random headcanons
Mela had an obsession with fire when she was younger
Atticus owns a katana/shuriken collection
And lastly, Ortega played the role of King George III in Uva/Naranja Academy’s Rendition of Hamilton and absolutely SLAYED the role.
i'm not sure how a highschool rendition of hamilton would work on account of like. "sit down john you FAT MOTHER******" and the entirety of say no to this but i'm OBSESSED with the idea of ortega playing king george
Personally, I think the reason people don't have teams of 6 is because it is difficult to take care of 6 animals at once. Also, most trainers have type specialties because Pokemon of the same type can be taken care of similarly, so it takes only really good trainers to be able to have a diverse team of 6 (like maybe the person who becomes champion)
This makes more sense. On my replay of Y, it took me an hour to an hour and a half to super train all 6 of my team members, each. Now imagine having to take care of actual creatures with clashing personalities instead of just the same minigame over and over again.
Just discovered your channel through these, so here’s 3 of mine
1. Bonnie from the anime want to pick all 3 starters on her journey to represent Clemont, Serena, and Ash. But she’d just end up keeping Dedenne and not pick any of the starters if she can’t have all 3.
2. Kahuna Hala has a Malassada maker for Hau
3. Will (Johto E4 member) is the one guy who actually has a gun whenever he says he has one when he was at school
I like to imagine Bruno's first pokemon was actually one of the Onix from victory road, which he wrestled into submission himself. This is actually how he caught all the pokemon on his team.
my headcannon is that all those dragon trainers who don't have an entire team of dragon, specifically lance, claire, and iris, is because they're smart to use other dragon-like pokemon to fill in the type gaps
Barry saw the psychics levitate their pokeballs and thought it was really cool. He tried it for three hours and then it wiggled a little and he said that was enough and moved on angrily.
i have a headcanon that when anybody held cosmoem in the anime it was still levitating just enough to let the holder’s hands move them but not enough to actually feel its thousand-pound self
Ahah, I love these! For some headcanons of my own...
-Lillie's bag is just packed choc full of Repels with just enough room for Nebby. She did NOT want to risk being jumped by any wild Pokémon.
-Selene is a total night owl, practically noctornal because she loves playing around at night. Even some of her Pokémon are baffled by this.
Here's a random one I just came up with: At some point during PLA, Akari ends up just dead up buying a gun from the Ginkgo Guild after the Guild found it from a spacetime distortion and not knowing what it is, so Akari just casually has a Glock-19 at the ready.
My head cannon is that Pokémon games exist in the Pokémon universe. Not the games we have but more like WII Sports. It is cannon that Nintendo exists
My head canon is that none of the nurse joys looked the same at birth, they just made themselves look so similar (the one in kitakami is a rebel)
Mimikyu can also make costumes to make them look like other Pokémon. They’re just not as easy to spot as the ones that run around dressed like Pikachu for some reason.
I have a few headcannons related to Kieran:
1:Ogerpon feels guilty about the way her choice affects Kieran.
2:Kieran is basically the closest thing to being an actual player that an npc like him can get.
3:Since my in game self is around 19 during the SVDLC, I like to imagine that she treats Kieran like a son/brother (and does it a LOT better that Carmine lol)
Kieran is close to a palyer, but nemona is the closer we have got to a player. She is the strongest character in paldea, she starts a new team at the same time we start the game and catch a goomy and a three-segments dunsparce even when she is selfrestricted. Nemona wons all the battles except against the player.
There is a headcanon about she being a bore player who has beated the champion , that is why she is so excited when we defeat her.
I have a headcanon that, in the anime, Tobias is the reason why trainers are only allowed one gimmic (Megas, Z Moves, and Dynamax) per battle since he used both a Darkrai and a Latios to completely demolish the Sinnoh League. Legendaries, Mythicals, and Terastallization would also be limited to only one per team/use, but the former 2 would be close to impossible for most trainers to get anyways, and the latter didn’t exist yet
Legendaries aren’t gimmicks, so I don’t think that Tobias was why the rule was created. He won without any external influence from a gimmick.
@@NokoTheTacotrue, but I like to imagine that some of the gimmics (mainly Mega Evolution) are capable of being used multiple times in battle, and some people would consider going against said gimmic without one of their own is like fighting a legendary. It's an over exaggeration, I know, but that's probably how the people in the anime would view/compare it to, especially if someone were to use multiple gimmics on top of that, thus the rule was made
Mine is that the reason Kirlia's pokedex entry mentions that she can see the future, but never mentions her being sad about the trainers demise unlike Gothitelle's is because the Kirlia just doesn't care because it see's the future where it has an epic paradox form.
Bonus: I think that iron valiant is a paradox form of Kirlia, not gardevoir and gallade, wich is why its shorter than them, and why its head is so close to Kirlia's.
Please never stop the headcanon videos. They are some of the best videos in all of youtube (In my and many others opinions) and there honestly just feel good content. Btw you're my favorite youtuber congrats.😊

I like to call Barry "haircut" because of his ridiculous hair
I have a realy long an complex headcannon. Only reson I have not put it here is because it whould take me an hour to properly articulate it. Should i share it?
My headcanons are:
1. the three area zero pals represent different siblings
Nemona - Oldest, quite confident and is constantly trying to find someone as powerful as her
Arven - Middle, thought he was being neglected for years, best friend is his dog
Penny - Youngest, spent alot of her time alone, constantly being made fun of
2. Penny has stayed up all night listening to The Mind Electric
3. All the champions have sleepovers every 2 weeks
My head canon is that Porygon was originally not meant to be shiny, but some Porygon started experiencing a glitch that changed its color, and then one of the designers for Porygon saw the glitch and made some Porygon shiny.
My head cannon for Bonnie is that she would often go outside by herself to look at some electric type Pokemon
Headcanon: All the gym leaders of Paldea have their own group-meet up, probably every two weeks or something. They all join up to do an activity themed around one of the leaders, with a rotating schedule each week.
For example,
-They bake when it’s Katie’s turn
-They make art/sculptures with Brassius
-They hang out at the auction house with Kofu
-They reserve the Treasure Eatery for a day and hangout there, eating food and battling one another and sometimes, Katie helps make the food. Larry is against all of this, but on the occasion, will join in on the fun.
-When its Iono’s turn, everyone does a Diffrent activity on the Iono zone, and sometimes they do video games like Mario Kart and Mario Party, and sometimes they visit Diffrent regions for a travel blog.
-They all go to Montanavera and have rap battles with Rhyme, and I imagine Larry having the most fire lyrics ever
-Everybody goes snowboarding when its Grusha’s turn, with Iono constantly slipping and falling into the snow, were everybody else has to help her up
-They do fashion shoots with Tulip, and I can imagine Tulip sponsoring Iono
This could probably work with other gym leaders, or maybe they’d do something else. I’d love to see other people have ideas
Edit: The elite four saw a stream of the iono zone whilst they were doing there activities, and they got the idea to do stuff on their own. They left out Larry cus he does stuff with the gym leaders, but they also do Diffrent things.
1: They go out and have constests in the region when it’s Rika’s turn, her favourite is who can catch the most Wooper
2: Poppy makes everybody go get ice cream. Rika gets Cookies And Cream, Hassle gets mint chocolate chip, and Poppy gets a triple scoop of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. Sometimes Tinkaton will get a strawberry waffle cone :)
3: When Hassle decides, they get up to all kinds of stuff, from playing video games, to helping him write his class lectures, and sometimes even making plans to rise up against Geeta to get better pay.
#EliteForPayrise
My headcanon is that Iono’s whole stream persona is who she is naturally, she loves doing her streams and while she can be annoying, she doesn’t mean to be. So it upsets her when people like Grusha say they liked her old content more than her new stuff, and how it feels more genuine, because Iono has so much fun with her streams as they are and worries that now people don’t like her naturally. Also she started streaming as a way to figure herself out, gain confidence, and make friends.
If you invite both Iono and Grusha to the League Club, Grusha will say to Iono that he liked Iono's older content, that she "Took more risks" Sounds kinda sketchy if you ask me.
@@roberteemmonsI think he meant that she tried all sorts of things out and didn’t stick to what kind of content was popular
I have a headcanon. The reason why Pokken hasn't had a sequel is because, in universe, Pokken is seen as more as an "extreme sport". For Synergy Burst to work, it causes both the pokemon and their partner to feel the pain they receive while fighting. With that, most normal pokemon tournaments sort of shun the Pokken tournament to how dangerous it can be
I like to think that Victor is very laid back and relaxed that he really likes apples. Also he is Gloria’s twin and helps balance out her anger. I could totally imagine him holding Gloria back when she is angry and apologizing for her behavior, or Gloria is angrily ranting while Victor is sitting in the corner munching on apples and pretending to listen.
I like to imagine that anytime a trainer is going to another region (via plane, boat, or train) some of their pokemon get held back because of TSA bullcrap
Example: electrode (self explanatory)
I have several headcanons pertaining to various game mechanics and seeming unconformities:
#1: Pertaining to Gym Badges and obedience. It's not that the Gym Badges have a magical effect on Pokémon that causes them to obey you, but that they show to your Pokémon that you deserve their respect. This is also why Ash couldn't control Charizard, Charizard knew Ash had no idea of what he was doing half of the time.
#2: Why Chansey is aggressive in Legends: Arceus (Arkoos). Chansey was originally a menacing Pokémon (as seen in Legends: Arceus), but after mankind really got a handle on catching Pokémon, poachers would kill Chansey to get the eggs, so many Chansey would hide with the nurses for protection. Eventually, the Chansey would come to run very fast and would be taken up by the nurses.
#3: The protags aren't silent (Apart from Red), the player is the voice of the character. No two Glorias would act the same, one could be a drunk menace, and another a brave Scottish warrior, and yet another a cute freak.
#4: Why talented leaders send KIDS to fight off the end of the world, and crime bosses fold at a loss: Think about the Pokémon, you have cute babies, cool fighters, and LITERAL WAR MACHINES. Think about it, you are beat in a battle by a person, let alone a 10-year-old, who has a being that levels towns for fun. Would you bow out gracefully or die a horrible death. (Actually, that brings me to my next headcannon)
#5: Why the evil people weren't just killed. There once was a time where all was allowed when you beat someone. Lucky crit against your crush? If she doesn't have a boyfriend, she is now your wife. Your lifelong rival just lost? Oops, looks like Charizard was hungry \('.')/ Then the leaders of the various regions came together and set up rules. First, a global currency was instated, and then various other laws were made, including a set cash payout from the loser to the winner, or something else that both agreed on. Also, killing was outlawed unless the loser refused to comply.
#6: Why gym leaders seem to have several teams. It's not because they have leveled up their team, but because they have their "Gym Teams" Which are their Pokémon Leage assigned teams (and some of them have Inhibitors, which limit their Pokémon's levels and evolutions), and their full teams which they bring out for you because you're the Champion, and don't need any holding back.
I might've said this headcanon or others have said it to by coincidence but I'll say it regardless.
Raihan & Iono are streaming rivals that aim to 1UP each other as the “Super Star Streamer”. Contary to what their fans think, Off Stream they’re really good friends. With Raihan helping Iono get better at going up against Ground Types, which is why she has a lot of checks with her team, Like Kilowatterl, Luxray's Ice Fang & Mismagius being her Ace.
Fun fact: they’ve semi-canonically met! In masters, at least
My headcannon is that
1-Nemona is really into death metal, and will blast it anywhere and everywhere with a completely blank expression (maybe doing a cute little dance)
2-Barry plays Fortnite way too much
3-Penny is really into JRPGs
My head cannon is that all of the mythical Pokemon all know that they are in a game but choose not to tell any other pokemon.
More Arceus head cannons:
1. Arceus got tired after creating the universe and decided to take a Power Nap but accidentally ended sleeping by for billions of years
2. Arceus scolds Dialga, Palkia and Giratina if they do something stupid like fighting each other
3. Arceus sometimes checks in on Earth by looking at it from the sky but is mostly unimpressed by all of the chaos and evil teams trying to destroy the world
One of my favorite headcannons is that Wally is actually the child of Wallace. I think that they look really similar and that Wally is short for Wallace. I can also see Wally being a child of Steven stone but I think Wallace makes more sense
My head cannon is that in the diamond and pearl when you choose your starter, you don’t actually choose a Pokémon you just throw Professor Rowan’s briefcase at the starly and your stater and your rival’s just fall out
