Regenstein African Journey is my all-time favorite zoo exhibit. There's a reason why, when I show people the zoo, this is always the last exhibit I take them to. I love it so much. :)
@@kevinmiller4457 I actually just counted. I've been to only nine - Lincoln Park, Brookfield, Shedd Aquarium, Blank Park (Des Moines), Henry Doorly (Omaha), Milwaukee County, Columbus, Minnesota and National Zoo.
I live in Portland Oregon , the Oregon Zoo greatly improved their elephant exhibit & they are currently building a new polar bear & chimpanzee exhibit.🤩🤩🤩
It would be nice, but Lincoln Park doesn’t have the physical space for elephants, and being landlocked at 35 acres, there is no room to expand. Brookfield though is another story.
I was at this Zoo this morning with my family, we had good time. It’s also good that it has free admission as well. So I recommend this place to go to if your in the Chicago area, along with the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum of course.

Could you possibly be able to do a zoo tours video on my home zoo the Little Rock Zoo in Arkansas. And also the Memphis zoo because it has lots of cool animals.
You don't have Animal Adventure on your list? In Harpursville NY..Very close to Binghamton NY. There is also Leigh valley zoo in Schnecksville PA. Sea World is under so much scrutiny for their animal cruelty they should not get any recognition.
Scrutiny ≠ Truth. They are one of the most highly praised institutions by the AZA and should be recognized as such. My visits to SeaWorld Ohio created my inspiration to want to work with animals, and this channel would not be here without them.

I think the zoo will bring back elephants by building a new elephant exhibit for this area like the zoo in the west.
