Looking forward to getting this gun. Hope to make it my EDC. It seems that it would be great for that purpose. I am looking for an all steel frame gun, 9mm, LW, with the RD available. This just might fit the bill. And it has to be affordable. Girsan is usually good for that. Thanks Sootch.
You didn’t mention the hard trigger pull on the original FN High Powers. They also had a magazine disconnector that apparently is not on their Girsan iteration. Funny you didn’t mention these as they were always the 2 biggest gripes.
I carried HiPowers on and off for years- switching with Combat Commanders as the mood took me. Then I switched to Glock 19 and 21. Got no complaints really, except being an Olde Fahrt I still like a metal/steel frame. And a safety... I just became aware of these Girsons, which have been out for a couple years now. Hmmm I sez to myself.. Hmmm, indeed. Been putting aside money to buy a .357 for concealed carry... more than twice the price... I need to see one of these shortie HiPowers.. maybe swallow my racial disdain for Turks (some ancient and some not so ancient family history my father was at pains to teach me) and do some business. Smaller, light-weight, all-metal HiPower WITH A SAFETY! Best of several worlds, in my estimation. I have to see one- good excuse to go gun store hopping.. 🤠
This particular model comes without the mag disconnect, which will save me the trouble of having it excised.. I had this done on every BHP I've owned, not because I have an issue with the pistol locking up when the mag is empty or absent, but because of the improved trigger pull (lighter and smoother).

Just picked up a 1911 Reserve .45acp. Money well spent. 🇺🇸😎

As I see, this model doesn't has the mag disconnect safety. Did you remove it or it just came without that?

That spring and guide rod really is a pain... the mag for the Springfield SA35 works perfect for this
Plagiarism. Why did you take someone's video for yours?
I was wondering the same thing...
