You have an external wastegate, which you can change from being plumbed back into the exhaust or venting to atmo (screamer pipe). You aren’t switching between external gate and internal gate..

I was the same man, everyone in my family had commys, and I've had multiple commys it was Holden or nothing but I went out and bought a barra and im never going back, falcons are so much more comfortable and way better handling

I bought an xr6 Sprint and it blows doors off everything. Stage 1 performance tune. It is a true muscle car. Coming from a HSV family my old man was gob smacked at the Barra power 😂😂.

Not everyone likes to try and break the sound barrier on the roads

Nice Zac . Re003 for front man . I’d suggest 275 minimum for rear . Go toyo r888r mate or maybe hankook ventus rs4 . I know semi slicks are sketchy in the wet . Just lay of the boost when it’s raining . Happy wheeling !
semi slicks arent the best for everyday driving. they have a certain amount of heat cycles in them, similar to full slicks. after a while they will just fall off and have next to no grip, even with near full tread. also take a while to come up to grippy temps. best bet would to go with something like a softer compound sport tyre. PS4S, PZero, Eagle F1 etc.

It’s always an external gate as the wastegate isn’t inside the turbo what you are doing is having the exhaust gas from the Wastgate dumping into atmosphere called screamer pipe or dumping the gasses back into the exhaust called plumb back

@ZacBaldy look into getting nankang ar-1's man way more grip than 003's. I have them on my 600 hp FG and they hook up under pretty much any conditions once you get them warm even wet weather. For a semi slick they last quite a while too.

Not a good idea to do kick downs in the auto. Good way to snap an input shaft. This way you can build boost through the gears without any harsh / sudden changes in the driveline.
Very similar to what Vasa Said, these cars are useless to rip around when it’s just in drive, by selecting gears it’s just easier to take my time and start in the gear I want, and yeah ZF’s hatttteee life with kick downs 😁
