I honestly think a lot of people bailed out once he sold his Breeze XR6 Turbo. His Subscribers were going up quick at that time as well. Then sold it and people Unsubscribed. Hopefully this will bring everyone back on board. Everyone has missed the Barra Turbo greatness.💯%
I loved watching the old Falcon vlogs/videos, and I've somewhat kept up with the channel since the sedan was sold, but it's nice to see you back in a Falcon Zac 🤙🤘
Even though it has relatively high kms, the fact it's never had a tow bar and towed anything is a huge plus. I'd be getting a PWR Trans Cooler with a Thermo fan on it connected to a switch, then constantly have it running whilst towing to keep those ZF gearbox temps down. I'd also take the Rocker cover off and check that it's hopefully nice and clean in there. Congratulations on picking up a bargain. Well done. I will be interested to see where you go with this like what type of wheels you will choose for the load rating of towing. Keep them coming Zac. 💯👍👍

Great to see you back into the new FG project, I remember watching your FG XR6 Turbo video's 4-5 years ago and was amazed by all the DIY work you did so this project will be very interesting to follow. I drive an old FG XT with the 6 speed auto and you're right there very comfortable cars but I've had a few issues with the auto box though it seems to be OK for driving around the suburbs but maybe not for towing, I'll look forward to future progress video's on this excellent ute!

Good on you, Zac. I'm very happy and excited for you for your new rig. Some point down track in the near future. I am buying my Mum's old 2012 Connecticut Blue FG Mk ll, 6-speed ZF automatic. Last week , I also did a video on my Mum's car in Mount Gambier. You may be interested in checking that out at some point, too.
Nothing wrong with the ZFs, give the guys at DSRPerformance a call. They'll build you a box to suit your requirements. They built mine, it's in a turbo territory running high 9s.
So relatable with fg prices aha, when I was looking a few months back I ended up settling on a n/a mk2 g6e with 217,000 kms for $13k which was one of the cheaper ones at the time. Wish I didn't rush as there were definitely some better buys out there. But yeah most n/a's are around that $8-$12k mark even some closer to $20k being manual/low kilometres, the ute was a very good buy.
yayyyyyy he is finally back, and I knew that one day he is going to bring back to falcon, and in the end it was worth the wait and I will be looking forward to more contents about the ute.
Get the zf built ,rvo do a stage 1 for 3800 that'll handle 400kws ,nothing wrong with zfs if they're done right. Too much torque kills em ,they're only rated to 600nms stock and being stock the barras put out 550nms so they're almost on the limit already lol Even a basic 300kw barra will pump out 700nms ,zfs hate that and they hate being abused. Rvo is in Victoria and he'll sort ya zf woes no problem 👍
You guys should go to Mexico and have a race. VZ SS Ute Vs FG XR6 Turbo Ute. Before Zac does any more mods. Actually Zac's Ute would flog your 6.O litre V8 Johnny. Still be fun to see though. Make it happen. Johnny's VZ might get Zac's Ute off the line, but I think Zac would reel him back in before 1OOKMH.💯%

There getting cheap. I bought my saduce xr6t ute 6months ago for 10k i done the exact same thing clicked into it thinking its n/a. Flicking threw photos manaul xr6t he had just put it up its now in my driveway i absolutely love it! No clear peel and full logbooks snagged a bargain he had 13k on it but diff was noisy chucked a truetrack in had engine stripped head studs valve springs oil pump gears timing chain kit head gasket and valve stem seals owes me 18k

I have a 2010 fg xr6 and other then paint that was resprayed from some douche running into me. Which is all good the factory paint is faded and ruined but mechanical y this ute has cost me a fortune to keep maintained 173000km and spent alot. Tail shaft shocks brakes head liner the gear selector boot hand brake boot cover wheel bearings control arms ect. It's a 5 speed which was replaced at about 110000km due to running over a rock and went through the sump. On the highway it's awesome to drive 8.9 litres per hundred around town how ever it just isn't as nice to drive.
