In my opinion, Canopy Growth Corporation (CGC) has a jewel in its portfolio, namely the German manufacturer of vaporizers Storz & Birkel. The electronic high-tech devices are the only ones that are medically certified in Germany and in fact one benefit of such a device is that the user of such a device can consume without having to use tobacco and without having to inhale unhealthy smoke (the devices work combustion-free). I think that demand for the devices will increase significantly with the change of law in Germany on 1st April because people will no longer have to worry that owning such a device will get them into trouble.
Absolutely ridiculous he was sent to prison for 2 years just for growing a naturally occuring plant. I hope he has his record expunged and is well compensated.
From what I know about Japan and most Asian countries, you will have to wait a long time for that. Fingers crossed though, that the German decision will have a positive effect on other countries worldwide 👍

First of all... there will be no Cannabis taxes cause you cant buy it. Social Clubs are limited by 500 members and the members must live in germany and the "fee" that you pay to the club will be used for the ongoing costs etc. There will be no shops this year or even next year. Overall its a DECRIMINALIZATION and PARTIALLY legalization.

Someone needs to tell the people growing that are new to it that things are left out when watching grow videos. they will find the right way to grow. but it's best to get more than one source of advice when personal growth is a situation that people are involved in.
There should be measures put into place to stop the corporatiseation of production when larger scale production starts. Keep it with the people who fought for it and don't hand it over to bankers and vulture ceos from the business world. This is what appears to have happened in America and Canada.
They had several years to prepare for the *DECRIMINALIZATION* that happened now. Pillar 2 is underway and will take another year - which is the next step towards actual legalisation. There have been patients openly consuming since 2017 with no issue aside from some cops even harassing them. The public has and will have enough time to adapt. No worries 🥦
The biggest downside will be the pseudo elitism forming around that market. There already were discussions between indoor vs outdoor weed and I suspect, these discussions will become a lot more toxic (not literally though) when people start throwing out hundreds or even thousands of € for grow boxes, high tech lights and whatnot because the industry suggests that´s the "best" or the "only" way to get good weed. I personally will stick to my greenhouse. What do we have the sun for, if we don´t use it?

Germany Welcome to cannabis freedom. The cannabis industry and products are far far beyond just flowers. Mainly a lot of cannabis is grown in large fields and then made into concentrate oil. Most of that goes into vapes and edibles. So you don’t have to smoke to get high. There’s no other experience like going into a dispensary for the first time 🌬️💨💨

Every time I drove by a cannabis store here in the US, I don't see any customers. I guess smoking isn't cool anymore since legalization.

legalisation cannot be done overnight it need to be done step by step over time to make it less controversial and easier for the public to adapt to
They had several years to prepare for the *DECRIMINALIZATION* that happened now.
Pillar 2 is underway and will take another year - which is the next step towards actual legalisation.
There have been patients openly consuming since 2017 with no issue aside from some cops even harassing them.
The public has and will have enough time to adapt. No worries 🥦
The biggest downside will be the pseudo elitism forming around that market. There already were discussions between indoor vs outdoor weed and I suspect, these discussions will become a lot more toxic (not literally though) when people start throwing out hundreds or even thousands of € for grow boxes, high tech lights and whatnot because the industry suggests that´s the "best" or the "only" way to get good weed.
I personally will stick to my greenhouse. What do we have the sun for, if we don´t use it?

Germany Welcome to cannabis freedom. The cannabis industry and products are far far beyond just flowers. Mainly a lot of cannabis is grown in large fields and then made into concentrate oil. Most of that goes into vapes and edibles. So you don’t have to smoke to get high. There’s no other experience like going into a dispensary for the first time 🌬️💨💨

I.E: not within 100 metres line of sight of:
- Schools
- Playgrounds
- Pedestrian areas
Also not in front of people below the legal age of 18, if you pass them you have to either change sides of the street or put out your joint immediately.
As well as being included in the already implemented Nichtraucherschutzgesetz = Non-Smoker Protection Laws.
