as much as I love this game, I realize this game doesn’t really have a story. it has tons of rich lore that’s always exciting to uncover, but the actual barebones story doesn’t really go beyond “you’re the tarnished u gotta kill the gods be da elden lord”
anything beyond that you’re just getting into lore territory
I wonder if you go into the DLC without killing Malenia, will that affect a later interaction with Miquella? Imagine you don’t kill her and he becomes a companion you can summon or if you kill her, you fight him at a much harder level 😉💀
I mean it works in DS3 with Champion Gungnyr if you never talk to the Old Firekeeper

I think this is a great video for people who aren't invested into souls games. Its a great way to get normal casual gamers invested into such a beautiful commitment.
If you overwhelm people who aren't generally interested in fantastical stories with too many nuances and lore, they become confused and uninterested. The investment seems too time consuming and overwhelming.
People have kids and responsibilities and if you make them feel like something requires a large commitment it makes them second guess their interest.
I'd say for a casual gamer this is a well-versed description of the basic lore and a good way to get them to start playing and become more invested than they deemed possible.

So glad the dlc is hear I platinum trophy the game put about 500 hours into the game and haven't played in a wile because there was nothing else to do besides level up more

@@DommoDommo the people who played the demo said they were given characters who were 150 and they found their playtime much harder than the main game.
I’m 188, was 165 when I finished so I leveled up a bit more when I saw that 150 minimum just to be sure 😂

I think the guy did the best he could. There's alot going on 😂 The best way to understand the story is to play the game and read every description on items. And pay close attention when there is dialogue. You really have to want to know the story in this game, getting the information first hand while you're playing is the best way to understand it.
