Stockholm is one of the most difficult places for dating with serious intentions. Many guys want to just hook-up or have friends with benefits. Don't compromise your value system for any of them. You're beautiful and wise. The right one who is ready to 'grow' with someone and emotionally mature will appear at the time time. If you're open to online dating then do so without limiting yourself to only guys in your area. Things really got worse after Covid. I'm not in the dating market but I see what my friends are going through. It's great you're open to solo-dating.
As someone who is very independent and not used to (sometimes even willing to) rely on others or ask for help, I found that even when I was single and dating the message that I projected was that I was not available on many levels. Essentially I wasn't receptive to people (in this case men) giving, helping our supporting me. In the dating scenario, I find that this essentially is what a guy would want to do for you so me not allowing them to do that for me sent the message that I wasn't that interested nor available. In the end I found that for me, dating/having a relationship was a fine line of being independent and keeping true to myself but also allowing myself to be vulnerable enough to be taken care of (not in a materialistic way but a sentimental way). Something that I also discovered was that I had a lot of uncommunicated expectations that I thought weren't being met but after speaking with the person, I actually realized that some of those expectations were being met just in ways that I didn't see because I wasn't used to them I wish you the best of luck on your journey to find someone to share life with :)
Wow... I relate to everything you just said. Seriously. It's so crazy how we were made to be so self-reliant to the point where asking and receiving help is almost painful, like physically. I love how introspective you are and how you're working through it for yourself but also your current and future relationships. Thank you love
@jubiterr its not only painful but very VERY scary and doing things while scared has something to be said about. We can and will push through it just as we did with so many things in our lives
I'm so glad that you liked the vegan place! I am also positive on solo dating. At first it was a bit scary/awkward/challenging for me to be at a restaurant and at a bar by myself (but I grew from that experience), meanwhile going to concerts, music festivals, museums, cafés and cinemas have been very relaxing and natural by myself. I doesn't feel lonely by myself in those places, but it can be challenging for me in environments there people usually are very social while I'm an introvert. I like that you are enjoying yourself, you are worth it! ❤ thank you for another great video with insights and mindfulness!
It's good that you're allowing yourself to change within your friendships. They could also be craving more deeper connections but you were the first willing to put yourself out there

I watched all your videos back to back, and I think that not only do you reason and have well structured arguments, you also seem have a great analytical mind, with the usual French philosophy flair. Do not doubt yourself in any capability or quest in life, you are as great and amazing as you can get. I'm Swedish, but you should look for equality or a comparative person where you could find/get it rather then a restriction cultural, geographical location. You are smart, articular and opened eye...... the right tools for finding an equal partner. Never give up on a great, equal, kind, passionate and fair partner. The one you are deserving of. I think with dating you really have to love yourself where you are at before you can also accept someone for where they are at.
