- Hello from Madrid!!! This city completely took us by surprise, from its charming streets and stunning architecture to the amazing food, it was exactly our vibe. With only two days to explore, we did our best to visit some interesting and fun places, and I think we got pretty lucky with our selection! And OMG if you're into thrifting, Madrid is a thrift heaven! So many unique pieces at affordable prices, which is kinda rare these days. Was in Madrid last September and it completely enchanted us. We are actually doing another Spain tour in a couple weeks and we are definitely stopping by Madrid again. You're right, Barcelona is also beautiful but there is something Madrid. Cozy, warm ,beautiful and like I said we were enchanted and cant wait to be back

Please, for any person reading this who's thinking about visiting Spain, consider staying at hotels when you come here, temporary rentals for tourists (mainly through airbnb) has led to horrible gentrification. There's a huge huge problem with the affordability of housing for younger people due to the increase in the price caused by that
