I’m looking to get some Bose and these feel like a good first set, my headset right now is in pretty rough shape and thinking of getting an upgrade- and with Black Friday deals up on Amazon almost half off sounds like a really good deal
I'm looking to buy a pair of headphones that will be great for movies, gaming (especially FPS games), and music. I'm considering either the latest Sony ult wear or the Bose QuietComfort . Since this will be my first pair of high-quality headphones, I'm not very familiar with nuances like mids, highs, lows, or bass.. Which one would you recommend?
Hi Pratik, Those are both pretty good sets. I would say the Bose has slightly better noise cancellation and sound will be quite comparable btwn the two. The sony XM5 or the bose qc ultra have the best sound quality of these but they are much more $. Hope that helps and as for sound eq they both have apps that you can modify those so I wouldn't worry about it depending on which version you decide! Hope that helps 🎧
Any suggestions for replacing the headband? The leather has started to peel and they don’t offer replacements for this my headphones are old had them for about seven years I think that the 35s but they’re still amazing and it doesn’t sound like I need an upgrade other than the appearance.
I have a big head and I'm worried about the clamping pressure. I've narrowed it down to the Sony XM4s and the Bose QCs. Do you know if one fits looser than the other? Do you have a preference between these two. I really only care about comfort and ANC.
Amazing video, definitly deserved a like and sub😊 Only thing I kinda miss is the comparison against the QC35 II, you mostly compare against the QC45. I can get the QC35 II from a friend (as good as new) for €150 or the new QC (new) at €209, the ultra's are a bit too expensive for my taste. I mostly watch movies and call with friends, which one would you recommend? I saw somewhere that the QC35 has some of the best sound quality you can get, but I couldn't find it back😅
Appreciate that :) The qc45 and new quietcomfort sound better imo, I used to daily drive the qc35ii for a while. It's hard to reccomend the qc35ii as it's almost 8 years old now and uses micro usb (in a now usb-c world). My advice would be to wait until next week for black friday/cyber monday. The deals should be pretty good from what I've seen on prime day etc. That 209 will certainly be lower, hope that helps!
@VladimirKostek Thank you very much for the reply. I also shared the concern about its age, and I kinda felt that the QuietComfort fit a little better. (a slightly bigger earcup depth if I remember correctly) Will get the QuietComfort, thanks again for your review! :) Sadly I dont see the prices dropping anymore since every store is already doing black friday here, including amazon with -15% (from €246 to €209), every other store has the same price.
@@VladimirKostek Hey sorry to bother again, I had one more question. I saw some people complaining about the Sudden spike in the high freq and hard drop (on the frequency chart) Did you experience anything weird with higher songs and sounds?
@galaxic_ I might have noticed it once or twice, but I usually use a custom tune ( nice thing about a modern product, is the app is up to date) there are 4 preset modes you can select if you have any personal issues with that. Or do a custom tune for your liking or to better match the genre of music
@VladimirKostek which one you like better between xm4 and qc comfort? I tested both on head yesterday. Xm4 clamping force seems a little higher and seems 16 gms heavier which i could feel , but people say sound quality of sony is better. Thoughts?
@ambiven10 XM4 certainly wins for sound quality and codec support. I prefer comfort tho as I usually use these for long sessions on flights, at the library or coffee shops. Hope that helps, I do find the QC a tad more comfy hence the name haha
I've used them in the gym and they were fine. Over ear headphones can get a bit hot so I do prefer in ear wireless like the galaxy buds 2 pro I reviewed. It's all personal preference really tho.
I am having this headphones. when I used to put it in quite mode , I can still able to hearthe background noise clearly such as people speaking nearby and music playing nearby. And when i asked chatgpt it tells like it works effective to block low frequency sound like airplane hum and high frequency sounds like people conversations can't be blocked. Is it true.? can you let me know..
That is generally pretty true if you just have the headphones with ANC on, they are much better at cancancelling out low frequencies and some mids. The highs don't cancel out as well. However when you are playing music too I don't find people talking to be very loud Most of the time I can't hear them.
@@VladimirKostek Yes. when we are listening to music with anc turned on with 80% of volume, We can't hear the background noise mostly. But when we don't do any work and just put in quite mode, then we can able to hear them clearly.. And it can't able to the block the voices which is very near to the headphones.Due to the more sound waves.. And most of the time we won't listen music right, sometimes we will listen lectures, at this moment is there any possible ways to block more noise.?

@@VladimirKostek I hope so! I liked boses qc 35II wouldnt have changed from them if they wouldnt have given up on me finally. Bit disappointing that these new headphones lack control of the anc.
