Something I'm really upset by with the Ultra is the lack of physical turn on/off toggle found on the Quietcomfort. It's a pet peeve to not have a visual distinction between a headphone that's on or off. And I cannot stand holding down the power button for three seconds. It drives me nuts because they make headphones feel cheap to me.
One thing I’m always invested in when considering new headphones, is sound leakage, I really don’t like people hearing what I’m listening to, how would you say they compare in that regard?
In my personal experience, the Ultra’s were slightly better in controlling leakage. Unless you’re blasting music nobody will notice, especially outdoors.

Thanks for the review - microphone quality sure still is terrible with Bose across the board - just listen to the microphone captures - why is it that bad? (I initially thought my QC45 were defective - but seems like no matter how many mics they add it still sounds bad..)
I agree. The mic on the QC ultra is horrendous. For a premium wireless headphones, you'll at least expect crystal clear calls. It's embarrassing that there is way cheaper headphones with way better call quality than the expensive QC ultra.
After much research and try on's, I've decided to go with the over-all winner for me which is the Bose QC45's. The over-ear comfort and it's lightweight feature really sold me. I wear glasses pretty much 24/7 and I also get migraines frequently so comfort was my top priority, but also as someone who just wants to listen and immerse herself in her audiobooks and music in peace... the specifics of the bass and etc. wasn't that deep for me and with that I really can't complain since I'm upgrading from the SONY WH-CH500 to the QC45's so lol in comparison it performs AMAZING and are more than just fine to me. It also doesn't hurt that while yes it's still very much on the pricey side, the price I would say is still fair to me since I got it on sale.
I thought the quiet comfort sound amazing. Compared to the sonys at best buy, though very close, I went with the bose qc for the sound. Great soundstage. Clear, good instrument separation, slightly better than the xm4s and the bass is definitely still there especially when turning up the bass in eq while not mudding it up. Great seal and noise canceling. For a sale price of $250 from og price of $350, cant beat it. And The moonstone blue color is gorgeous. Don't always trust reviews. Try them for yourself.
I prefer the basics button controls on the QC45 more. I also got my qc45s brand new on sale for 200 during the super bowl so I definitely won't be upgrading anytime soon. The 24 hour playback time is basically the same on both headphones. If they upgraded it to 38 to 40 hours on a single charge, I'd definitely upgrade but the difference is Soo minor that I'm happy with my qc45s for the money I payed plus I don't value these headphones at 300 plus dollars for what you get. I'd say they are worth 250 tops.

The green ones are so nice. I wish the ultra came in green too.
@@Umiizack hi! How's been your experience after these months?
I got myself a pair of Bose QC Ultra for 220 usd, and they will arrive in 5 days. Hopefully, they are worth it. If not, then I'll get myself the Momentum 4 or Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Se2.
$220 usd where??
@@osiel.91they’re probly fake. Nobody has them for under $300.
Great video, thanks
Great review! Ty
Ultras will be here today. Thank you for this. NC700s. Welp.
Can you review the brand new B&W Px7 S2e
Is that QC35i, QC35ii, or QC45 that you tested?
These are the new quietcomfort, they dont have a number on them
Great video. It would be great to have the direct comparison of the two ANC sound levels, without the other modes in between. I downloaded your video and cut it together so I could really compare.
What were the results?
Bose ahead... @@alooloolooloo
Would you say either of them would fit a smaller head better?
I'd give the ultra a shot before the quietcomfort
The Mic on both do not sound good. Especially at that price point. I ordered both Bose Ultra headphones and Ultra Earbuds.
Thanks for covering this my guy
anyone used any one of these products for 1 year+ ? are the earpads peeling at all?
Don't you wanna review the galaxy buds FE yet?????
Got my quiet comforts for $200 on prime day. Good enough for me.
Is the anc stronger on the Bose Quiet comfort compared to the QC45?
Yes

No
This is an absolutely fantastic review. Thank you!
I’m huge fan of Bose products
Do you recommend the quiet comfort for the gym?
No. Too hot.
No. They get too hot and sweat gets all over the inside.
Can I use these headphones to train basketball?
Yes for soccer
Swimming also
pROBABLY not enough grip for Ultras. they sit light and could adjust more
In term of sound quality how these ones are doing compare to the sennheiser m4? And in term of ANC compare to the sony xm5?
Don't have the M4s but I posted a video comparing ultra to XM5
Hi I am looking to buy ether the Bose QC ultra or the Bose Quiet comfort but want to know out the two which one has got the more / better Bass as I am into a lot off base not bothered about thumping bass I've recently returned my Sony XM5 because what ever EQ settings I've changed or Adjusted to get bass there wasn't any bass
