I feel like a peasant wearing the XM5s And Sony Felt It A Good Thing To Up The Price By $50.00 .
I Returned 2 Pairs Of XM5s Months Apart Trying To See The Value In Them And Other Than The ANC Their Is No Value I Could Find In The XM5s .
My SoundCore Q35 & Q45 Have Better Sound Quality And Look Much Nicer Especially The Q45 .
Great test, thanks a lot. I am new to your channel and was wondering about the section 7:42 regarding Noise Cancelling. Are you testing the noise-cancelling for phone calls / recordings by utilizing the built-in microphones or are you demonstrating the noise cancelling for the audio playback. I was assuming the latter, however in this case you would need to utilize then some additional microphones in your ears to record the impressions for the users, don't you?
Is the aware mode better than the airpod max?
I found the Ultra very creaky and noisy, and the touch sensors annoying, so back to these.
There is also one of the new models Bose QuietComfort SE. What's the difference between them? And what is better to take Bose QuietComfrt or Bose QuietComfrt SE?
Loved the review. Are you able to review the new Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e? Im torn between that and the bose ultras, not sure which one to get
right now i am looking at all of these...QC45 are 299 ( Canadian ) 218 ( US ) and the new QC are 379 ( Canadian ) 276 ( US ).....QC ULTRA 499 ( Canadian ) 364 ( US ).....which would you recommend as i am without anything currently....I need them for music and watching movies on my ipad...i am 58 years old.....great review by the way....thx....cheers from Canada
If I get these and use them wired with the audio cable hooked to a type c dongle, will the ANC still work? meaning when the Bluetooth is turned off

I found the qc 45 sounded better then xm5.
Will this be a good upgrade over the soundcore q35 since the Bose Qc is expensive
They are night and day i have q45 and grabbed qc45 on promo for 150 euro . Man the anc , build quality and comfort is HUGE step up . Sound quality is also way more clear , and bose lets me listen to music at lower volume because of anc
Yeah I have the quiet Comforts and I had the QuietComfort 45 and the QuietComfort I have now are much better the battery lasts longer the QuietComfort 45s after a year and 6 months of using them they were dead they were charged but they wouldn't turn on

The Bose sound great, and the ANC is killer. I don't have the Sony's. I will say the QC Ultra's aren't the most comfortable I've had.
Actually interested in what the market leaders in ANC headphones are in your opinion.
It’s an expensive piece of kit but sound quality improvements are ultimately subjective I guess too.

I have both, there is a big difference in sound quality and ANC as well.
These Bose Headphones are currently selling for $349 at Best Buy in the USA. I purchased the Sony M4's last Black Friday 2022 on sale for $228 saving me over $100. I like the Sony M4's because the battery life is 30 hours before needing to be charge. I use my Sony Headphone to watch MAX, Showtime, Starz, MGM+, Cinemax, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi TV, Pluto T.V., and TH-cam on my 2022 Samsung OLED S95B. I am hoping the Sony M5's will go on sale Black Friday 2023 because I want to upgrade from the M4's to the M5's. I like the long battery life on the Sony's because I watch a lot of television very late at night.

I'm getting an option to buy either qc45, or xm4 at 220 usd each, or xm5, at 300usd. which one shall i go with.
my main criteria is ANC and decent sound. I'm not much of an audiophile, so not so particular about the sound. I just require top notch anc to do my work in silence, shut out the world and focus for hours on end with consistent anc.
better are the last qc’s in anc in my opinion
I picked up the Bose QC for $249 at Best Buy today - what a deal!. The Cream color looks more luxurious than the Black. I am blown away with the ANC and the Sound Quality (with the manual adjusted equalizer). I spent about an hour at BBY testing the Sony XM4 and the QC. They both were same price. I decided on the QC and am super happy with the decision so far. I also tested the Sony XM5, but at $329 it was not worth the extra cost.

Bose QC headphones are the most comfortable headphones. The BT and NC connections are great. Bose is great for atmospheric, therapeutic, classical, soft rock, and pop music. The Bose App allows you to adjust the sound to your preference. The newest versions reportedly have more bass. I have other headphones that are great for heavy base and loud rock. However, I keep coming back to Bose for comfort; and for high quality of complex sound.
I have a pair new green Bose headphones and they are great! Best noise canceling headphones out there. Comfort is also there. I love these headphones and recommend. 🎧

So u really Like the green color
cypress green looks slick. I got them for $250 then another $100 off with a gift card I had. very comfortable and the anc works great. i like how light they feel low clamping force. sound seems fine to me they obviously dont have the updated bluetooth codecs but not a huge deal unless you're doing lossless all the time. I'm enjoying these so far.
I have tested for over a month both Sennheiser momentum 4 and Bose QC and despite flawless microphone in Sennheiser, Bose is delivering insane ANC and more stable audio experience. Not mentioning the comfort of wearing and less skin irritating ear cups. Nicely done. I recommend to any picky music freak 😉❤

Am I missing something regarding the microphone test? I couldn’t tell a difference when you switched from the iPhone to the headphones. Either these have the clearest microphone ever or the audio in the microphone test is coming from the iPhone the whole time.
If I was a gambling man, my money is definitely on the windy outdoor mic test being on anything other than the Bose headphones - take a listen to ANY other review for a more accurate demonstration.
I was confused about this too. The Mic tests ive heard so far for both QC and QC Ultra sound much much worse than this. The Mic quality for calls is the only thing making me think twice about buying them.

is the Bose QC ultra noice cancellation much better than the Quiet confort ? I REALLY CARE NOICE CANCELLATION, because I use them for studying. Do you think the difference is so big that I have to buy the ultra over the normal quiet confort ? considering that I also like the other ultra extra features over the qc
I have both and the difference is barely noticeable.

Bose earcups are ridiculous - material starts flaking away after not that much use. Can’t understand why they haven’t resolved this issue - people have been complaining about it for *years*.
They are easy to replace, though. I bought wicked cushions for mine because they are more durable and far more comfortable than the earpads that came with the Bose quiet comfort.
This is why I don't buy headphones that don't use Real leather.
@CDPA7 The stock ear pads on the Bose QC will last up to 5 years. You can't replace the ear pads on the Sony 1000xm5 so you're fucked either way. You're still spending less money buying new earpads for the QC than you are just buying a new pair of Sony 1000xm5, Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2, or Apple Airpods max.
ones on QC35 lasted me 5 years, bought replacements, broke down in couple monhts :( I bought originals from Bose website
That because you don’t wipe the with damp clog after each use like Bose recommends

These headphones suck. They drop out intermittently then connected to iphone and ipad at the same time. My QC 35 headphones don’t have this problem.
