Omg that is the best way to describe postpartum with the cups analogy. Same boat as you. Breastfeeding and pumping in itself is a full time job then taking care of other aspects is so overwhelming. No one can understand it better than a mom. Hang in there it will get better hug
I have a young kid and I remember those days in the first year. Seeing you being so open and talking it reminds me of myself a few years ago. The first few years are the most physically and mentally demanding. But it will get better. I’d say the best advice I got back then is to give yourself a break, you just made a human and your life just changed forever. It will take time to adjust and you will forget about who you are in the midst of it. Just take it one day at a time and after a while it will get easier. Time will come back to you and you will start feeling like yourself again. It seriously took me a few years but I did find myself again and I become a new version of myself that I like even more now. It takes time and compassion towards yourself
You said it best: give yourself grace + be kind to yourself. I’m 17 weeks now and I completely feel your pain postpartum. While I’m pregnant with my first baby, I can emphasize with you and understand your struggle. I really need to remember this because I’m so dedicated to my work and the hardest part for me to accept (although my husband and I wanted a baby very very much), that my dedication to work might change. Thank you for being so open about this❤
Postpartum emotions are so real! I’m an anxious person so I relate with your experience in becoming a mom! Accepting your new day to day and getting to know yourself in a new role takes time. And dealing with the emotions is a challenge as hormones ebb and flow for a long time after the delivery. Talking to someone (therapy) has helped me a lot in my journey, I definitely recommend. You’re doing great mama! Keep speaking your truth, how you feel and what you experience matters 🤍
Thank you for being so vulnerable and transparent with us! These feelings are so real and your'e doing a fab job at being a mum, there is literally no harder job. Your new hair looks amazing!
I absolutely feel the same about the cups. I now have two children and a third on the way, and I’ve had to greatly reduce what I pour into some other areas of my life. But once I found my new way of balancing it, I have never been happier. Three months with your new baby feels like a long time sometimes, but three months is such a short amount of time when it comes to getting used to a major life change. You’re doing a great job!
Thank you soo much for sharing. I’m 7 weeks postpartum and recently started the baby blues. I found your channel during my pregnancy and have loved following your journey. I don’t have many friends with kids yet, so it’s been great to check in with someone going through similar things. You’re doing great mama!!❤️ ALSO just sold my CRV after having it for 12 years. Love Honda! Hoping to get another one now with baby here!!
You’re doing such a great job , every mom feels like that at one point. I’m 37 weeks with my second baby and I have a 21 month and she needs me so much and it gets overwhelming and I feel like I’m not a good mom but trust it’s just an emotion and it will pass . I will be praying for you to have peace because being a mom is not easy wether you’re a working mom on a stay at home mom 🩷
Love your wavy hair.chloe be kind to yourself. Ask for help when you need it.youve got this! Cee cee is beautiful and growing. Have a good day. God's grace is sufficient!❤❤
Thank you for an amazing video and your honest thoughts about working and being a mom. I am on maternity leave now and will be back to work in a month. I am already sad thinking about sharing time between work and my son, even though I am working from home 100%. I totally relate to your feelings Chloe and hearing your thoughts has brought me so much reassurance. I have followed you for long time and am grateful to have you sharing this journey together (especially baby C is couple weeks older than my son, I can learn from you a lot 😊) The baby blues will get better I promise. Trust that it is normal and will go away. You are not alone ❤ Baby C is so cute, I keep looking at her bald spot and even that makes me smile 😂
Didn’t know you were a believer, so cool! But you are doing great, mama! Remember the Lord is your portion, in the areas that you feel weak, He is strong. Praying for peace and contentment for you in this new season. 💗
Girl, you’re other cups are allowed to be much smaller in this temporary season of life when you’ve gained a new huge cup! But your other cups will get bigger again when your baby cup gets smaller, it will get easier ❤ but your feelings are totally valid, especially with all the craziness of postpartum.
i feel like we are on the same boat sister, about feeling all the cups, feeling low, etc. my boy is a couple weeks younger than cecelia and i also noticed a decreased on my milk supply. my boy has also never slept more than 4h a night so the fact i don’t get enough sleep it has gotten me to a point of full stress all day. which makes me not a good mom, or wife or anything. and i just feel like crying everyday. we also don’t live close to family and we just recently moved to a new state where we don’t know anyone so it’s a LOT
My older sister bought the Honda Pilot as well. It’s a wonderful spacious vehicle. A lot of cup holders ! lol Btw what purse were you using at your hair appointment shot ? So cute and summery 🤍 PS your hair turned out so good ! Maybe I should chop it off too? 🤔 haha
I got the one I used to use when I took pilates at a studio. It's made by Balanced Body. A little spendy but incredible quality!!! www.pilates.com/products/allegro-pilates-reformer/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkdO0BhDxARIsANkNcrf2iefVUc1cvg56wJ6ClXjQo5jTvjp1glNDmwkYzp6yfGRCFKzrjTUaAqsJEALw_wcB

Love your new hair! It is hard to balance everything since the baby is becoming a priority, don’t be too hard on yourself! You are doing great!
Thank you so much!!

It really is so challenging! I'm right there with you! Here's hoping things start to ease up a little bit for both of us :)
