    Thank you SO much for being so transparent about it mourning your life pre-baby‼️ I wish more influencers would normalize this feeling, it’s SO NORMAL and NATURAL. 🗣️ We obviously adore our babies, but it is totally OKAY to miss your life pre-baby - I do all the time! 😌 Thank you for sharing this very real trip and your honest thoughts, Chloe. From one Mama to another, you have NO IDEA how much I appreciate this. 🙌🏼👏🏼

    I miss this stage with my LO! Every stage is amazing, and while you do mourn your former routines…life is so much sweeter with them in it now. ❤

    This video is super timely as I pack to take my 7 week old on our first trip! I completely relate to that feeling of mourning how things won't ever be the same- even though life with a baby is wonderful, it's also really hard. It's a good reminder to go with the flow and lower expectations 😂

    Chloe everything you said about being new parents and thinking back on before a child is so accurate. My daughter is almost 2 years old in my husband, and I are still trying to navigate our marriage building a loving family and our careers. It’s no joke when people say that kids our testament to your marriage. I love my daughter and I love my husband, but boy do we have some challenging times! Wishing you guys only the best and hoping that you enjoy every second parenthood

    The way you explained these transition periods now that you have Cecelia reminds me of when I first moved out of my parents' house a month ago and bought my first apartment with my best friend. Transition periods, no matter where you're at in life, are just hard. I know I've had a couple of meltdowns because of me missing my parents even though I don't live too far away from them. It's weird to experience that, but in hearing about your own challenges, it makes me feel less alone in a way. You and Jason are incredibly fortunate to have Cecelia in your life! ❤💖

    Pacing yourselves and being open to having a slower paced vacation is so cool to see, your setting a foundation of family that your kids are going to benefit so much from, great job! I struggled with learning how to get comfortable with nursing in public but once I got it down it was so freeing! I felt like I could go anywhere. Be encouraged you guys are doing great ☺️

    Managing your expectations is key for this period of life but I promise, it gets easier and easier each trip and before you know it, its totally easy and you dont even think about it. Our 3 year old is an amazing traveler and we find that she has these huge growth explosions when we travel (maybe related to the exposure of new things) and now we plan mini trips just to get her out of the house.

    A mom of 3, can confirm when it comes to places, restaurants, stores, etc we are mindful of where we go and how it might playout with them. It is true. Most places are not child friendly and as a mom I always check reviews and pictures to see.
    Having kids is always go with the flow, nothing will go with the plan. Its all "ok what can the kids do" yes you are right. There is a limit

    I am 9 weeks postpartum with my first. Adjusting has been tough and I appreciate you keeping it real! I found your channel during my pregnancy and wore the same dress to my baby shower because it looked so good on you! Thanks for all the recommendations ❤

    You are doing a great job. Having a baby is overwhelming. It changed your life 360 degrees. But it makes you resilient and strong. And you are Asian. 🤣🤣🤣

      We read a book called "Babywise" that was really helpful for us! We've tried to put a lot of these things into practice, and it seems to be working, but it's always important to remember each kid is sooo different, and may or may not take to the practices suggested here. Just keep trying your best! amzn.to/45JEC8B

    Woah that’s a lot of milk! I’m having such a hard time pumping enough to feed my newborn 😭 would love to see a video on your breastfeeding experience ❤😊

    • @byCHLOEWEN
      @byCHLOEWEN  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I totally understand! I actually had a huge milk decrease the week before NYC so I pumped after ever freeing for 6 days and got it back up thankfully. But now I’m still pumped every feeding cause I’m worried it will drop again. It’s so challenging keeping up with their demand, but hang in there! You’re doing great ❤️

    Can you share your tips/experiences how to manage naps with baby C? Does she have a consistent nap/sleep time every day? You guys make it look not that hard 😂

    • @byCHLOEWEN
      @byCHLOEWEN  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Aw that is very kind of you!! I still feel like I’m missing the mark in my work these days so that means a lot 😭 we are usually very scheduled when we’re home! We’ve always tried to create a consistent/predictable routine for her & I think that might have helped with her naps. Right now we feed every 3 hours & her wake window is about 1.5 hours. This only applies when we’re home though - when we travel we’re more flex cause we don’t wanna chain ourselves to keeping such a tight schedule! But sometimes at home we flex her a little here and there but usually she’s doing 2 crib naps a day & one “out and about” nap while we go somewhere! Hope that makes sense. Every baby is different & has different needs and some days are just harder than others for no reason ❤️

      @thucantruong3759 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@byCHLOEWENthank you for your reply ♥️ I agree some days my 10-week-old son is also more irritated for no reason and I used to wonder what went wrong (maybe growth spurt?) But now I realized that it is ok and we just need to accept it and go with the flow. That way it is easier for both parents and baby to naturally adapt to baby’s needs.
      Could you share what routine do you guys apply for nap? I just look for the tired cues like red eyes/eyebrows or pulling ears plus his wake window (also around 1-1.5 hours) and then do swaddle/ reduce the stimulation, give the paci and rock him until he falls asleep. Then I put him into his crib. But it is a hit or miss when I put him down as he sometimes just opens his eyes and starts crying 😂 is baby C the same?

    The slumber pod is waaay overpriced, they make blackout covers for play pens that like the $25, $170 for a glorified tent is kind of crazy...
