- The NEW Accord Special Edition is Honda's way of bringing some extreme value and features that you want. On the outside there is the refresh front fascia and grill that all Accords receive for 2021. The SE brings touches like special 19in wheels & trunk lid spoiler. On the inside you will find an 8in infotainment system, leather seats, and more convinces. Under the hood is the 1.5L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 192HP & is mated to a CVT. This was one of those cars that I thought was awful looking in the beginning, then it grew on me.

This generation Accord aged gracefully. It still looks up to date. And it’s still looks the best out of all the midsize sedans.
The 2.0T is a must! With the 10-speed!

That's a fact. Had a 2.0T manual and the lack of an LSD and the rev hang between shifts was NOT fun. This car is better suited with the 10 speed.

The 10th gen Accord has been winning compliments left and right for how it runs and how well it's put together. I just wish they would give us at least one naturally aspirated engine option; not everyone is a fan of turbos even though it's a trend, especially in what's supposed to be a family sedan :(

I recently bought a new 2021 Accord sport SE in cosmic grey. Love the car, and the 1.5 is no slouch at all especially in sport mode.
If I had the money to go with the 2.0 I would have. Still very happy with the beautiful car.

Raitis rides i can see why you love accords. Probably your favorite sedan of the year apart from mazda sedans. If this was the 2 litre turbo, I could just see you flooring this on the freeway. Once I have family of my own this is something I'm looking into after getting done with 2020 corolla LE, the design of the accord will age well as time goes.

This will be my first sedan to own in 2023.
I had a 2000 Accord SE with the V-tech engine and it was a great car. This one’s quite a bit nicer, lol, and about $9,000 more. Thanks for sharing it Joe! Nice job guys! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

I've noticed that when Honda hits us with a "Special Edition" trim, that usually means we're about to get a new generation soon.
It feels too soon but at the same time the 2018 model years came out mid 2017. We are just about 5 years into the 10th gen and haven't really had even a refresh yet. Some changes could be around the corner. The civic just got updated.
Thank God my 9th Gen looks way better than this ToysR'Us transformer look. Now if only they can help the civic too

@@chadxlr3978 With flagging sedan sales, I think you're right. Even then, depending on how sales unfold over the next two to three years, with electrification in development, Honda might even decide to cancel the Accord.

The cvt transmission does not bother me knowing this a daily driving car. Actually a good car for daily driving.
I’ve actually heard good things about Honda’s CVT’s despite the bad rep that they get. I eventually want to upgrade to the 2.0!

The wheels are so good that change wasn't necessary. And that blue is the best I've seen in a while.
Only thing missing on this trim is a moonroof. Koreans offer a panoramic moonroof for the same price
I love the rims, think I read somewhere they are the most stolen rims statistically.

Just got a 2.0t touring 21. Love the wheels on the 21 touring. Also it’s a rocket. I was gonna tune it but there’s really no need to do so. It pulls so much harder than you would imagine. Only negative to me is the lobster claw tail lights.

Great review. But as he said it’s a very competitive segment. I’ll be honest with you, I’ve always had a soft spot for Honda Accord. It looks nice in blue also. Bottom line is Honda Accord should be in your shortlist.

I love my 1.5t. Handles perfect, perfect power for a 1.5 turbo but I do wish I got the manual or the 2.0. Although I do have the PRL performance down pipe, intake and tune

Accords have become so luxurious lately..

@@righteousone1 they’re both great. I think the camrys are a little too stylized for me but they’re definitely pretty neat. I have a few friends with a 2020+ Camry, but they’re all girls so I have a connotation of the Camry being feminine.

My 05 Accord has almost 176k runs and drives great with the original paint and looks brand new.It has a V6 with lots of mussel too.Drive anywhere!
You missed a cool feature on the gauge cluster.
If you go in the settings, you can set it to where the tachometer stays on every page, meaning you can use the fuel range screen but there'll be a tachometer around the edge of the screen.

Just got out of my 2020 accord sport and thankfully I had $5,000 in positive equity so when I got my new SE on Friday all I had to do was pay my first month’s car payment and DMV/registration fees and again thankfully I went back to the dealership I used to work at (I worked at Honda and got the 2020 sport just a week before covid hit in March) and my friend is now in finance and he hooked me up with Honda sentinel 5 year warranty for only $10 more on my lease payment I love it! My old gsm is great friends with a manager at detail union as well so tomorrow I’m headed over to get their top of the line ceramic tint for $450 all around + windshield I honestly cannot be more thankful for everything 😭 the only thing is I wanted still night pearl but they only had a silver one left in their lot and my 2020 was silver as well lmfao

The current Gen of Honda Accord is such a marvelous vehicle for a daily. The sport is ALMOST a sports car. Quite zippy and fun to drive. Not quite a stinger or G70 but it still slaps

A new car usually looks good considering the tech that goes with it. I own a 2006 Accord. It sure is old but with a bullet proof 2.4 liter K24 engine, you can't go wrong even to this day.
The wheels on the accord is amazing. I want the touring trim cuz of navigation but I want those wheels too. Idk what to choose :) Stay Safe Joe :)

everytime I see the acord I'm like wow a beauty but we really need AWD in Canada for winter seasons. My 2013 Honda CRV has been solid even now and it's hard to lose the AWD option

Just purchased a platinum white se, the 5th of last month and it's a great car!! Do you have to put the car in sport mode to achieve a 6.6 seconds 0 to 60?
No manual is very disappointing 😕. I have the 2019 sport manual. Absolutely love everything about it. My only regret is not getting the 2.0 manual. Overall, the 1.5T is definitely not a bad choice for the price.
Can't believe they got rid of the EX. That was my family's favorite trim.

This car is sooo beautiful I love it soooo much but I love the Civic hatchback for the hatchback with the back windshield wiper of course & the little cubby in the front middle console lol which is a really small detail but my biggest thing is having a back windshield wiper being up north

I like the Acura RSX. Coupe styling with a hatch style trunk and doesn't look as 'out there' as the new Civic. And it includes the rear window wiper. But to each his own.
I looked at both the Camry and the accord and the interior dash layout on the accord and the tech inside just seemed outdated. Ended up buying the Sonic gray 2.0T Accord Sport and love it.
My previous 2018 accord had a 1.5 turbo with CVT. I thought it was smooth and delivered enough power when I needed it. I don't use the sport mode on my new 2.0t accord sport that much.....mostly city driving. I do miss those leather seats. I love Raiti's reviews even though I don't agree with some of his ZONKS regarding the Accord's styling.

The CV generation Honda Accord. It was the official new car of an automotive enthusiast whose first child was just born, introduced to a whole set of new responsibilities, but wants a car that still had three pedals..
..until Honda got rid of the manual in 2021.
